| 1 | Supplying fabricating & fixing of intermediate gratings of Building dock pump pit situated at 0.50m from chart datum (3.5m below ground level) in pump pits using MS angles, flat bars and channels.The gratings has to be fabricated as per drawing and check the measurements to suit the site before fabrication. The fabricated gratings has to be given one coat of epoxy primer followed by two coats of epoxy paint after cleaning the surface by wire brushing.The fabricated gratings has to be fixed in position after cutting and removing the corroded gratings and supporting plates and boltsand cleaning the surface for fixing of new fabricated gratings. Rate quoted shall be inclusive of supplying, fabricating and fixing of gratings after removal & stacking of replaced gratings, handrails etc at location pointed out by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost of all labour, cost of all materials, hire charges for tools & plants, disposal of stacked gratings/ scraps to the nearest scrap yard, other incidentals etc. complete. (Staging required for the work will be paid separately and welding rod supplied by department for this item). |
| 2 | Providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 316) railing made of Hollow tubes, including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same on the top of the grill as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.Rate quoted shall be inclusive of supplying, fabricating and fixing of SS handrail, cost of all labour, all materials & welding rods, hire charges for tools & plants, all consumables etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered ). |

| 4 | Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position stainless steel plates (316 grade) of 10mm thick for giving supports for gratings. 10mm plates of size 300x500mm shall be chemically anchored in the existing concrete structure using 6 Nos. of 16mm dia SS 316 bolt220mm length (min.) and 10mm stiffner plates shall be welded to the 10mm base plates by welding. The rate includes edge preparation, drilling of holes of specified diameter all as per specifications and drawings, welding of plates necessary machining/ grinding/ smoothening of members etc. to give a neat appearance.The rates shall include cost of all materials, consumables, hire charges of tools and plants, all labour, all overhead charges other incidentals etc. complete. (Chemical anchoring paid separately) |
