1Clearing light jungle area, bulb weeds, grass including cutting all unwanted plants, branches, twigs, wild growth etc. complete, and disposing the same 100 metres away manually or burning them without disturbing other areas etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Contractor must be informed to Engineer-in-charge and prior permission shall be obtained from him for burning the wild growth.
2Cutting and Filling all types of trees including cutting of trunks, branches and removing the roots and stacking of serviceable wood materials at places specified with a lead of 200m, disposalofunserviceablematerialsincludingfillingthepitsand depressions with excavated earth complete for trees of girth mentionedbelowcompleteallasdirectedbytheEngineer-in- charge.
3Girthbeyond30cm,uptoandincluding60cm,measuredat0.5m above ground level
4Earthwork excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) or manual means for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, all kinds of foundation etc.,in all types of soil like hard gravelly soil, sandy soil for the followingdepth from average ground level upto the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling, ramming and achieving 95% modified proctor density at the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and leveled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(if water encountered during excavation , it shall be drained out by proper dewatering arrangements and power supply required for dewatering shall borne by the contractor.) Note: 1. Proper compaction shall be carried out at the founding level with a suitable roller of adequate capacity. 2. Refilling shall be done in layers of not more than 300mm (loose).
5All kinds of soil with depth up to 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 1Km
6All kinds of soil with depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 1Km
7All kinds of soil with depth exceeding 3m but not exceeding 4.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 1Km
8All kinds of soil with depth exceeding 4.5m but not exceeding 6.0m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 1KM
9Supplying and fixing shoring using MS plates, channels, I section, steel boards, support jockeys, tierods, pipes to retain the sides ofexcavated earth / adjucent structures upto all elevations including lateral supports, bracing etc., until the completion of work all as directed by the EIC.
10Supplying & placing Filcrete using cement and crushed stone sand in proportion of 1:15 at temperature not exceeding 38 deg C for filling at all elevation inclusive of all labour, batching, mixing, transportation, material, compaction, pumping, curing etc all complete as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer In-charge.
11Providing and laying plain cement concrete M20 grade using 300 kg/cum of PPC, 20mm maximum size graded aggregates and washed crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications. Dosage of PCE based admixture as per workability requirment at site conditions. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility. 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/ downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.
12Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using20mm maximum size hard granite machine washed crushed graded stone aggregates and washed crushed stone sand including testings as per QAP, weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, 14 days curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footing, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility. 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/ downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.
13M30 grade with 380 kg of PPC per cu.m. of concrete upto plinth level
14M30 grade with 380 kg of PPC per cu.m. of concrete for all floors
15Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.
16Providing straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost and testing of reinforcement steel at thrid party NABL lab. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department. 17Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like MS structural embedment"s/pipe and sleeves/penetration etc.Using MS angles, channels, I-sections, plates, tees, flats, rounds, square sections etc. including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / sythetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Lifting device arrangements if any required also arranged by the contractor at his own cost.
18Providing F3 finish over concrete surface in cement mortar 1:1.5 using crushed stone sand (1 part cement : 1.5 part fine sand) including wetting the surface, labours, curing, all materials, scaffolding, at all elevations complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
19Manufacturing, supplying, hoisting and fixing in position at all lifts, precast units of various patterns and sizes for precast plain solid units, slabs, etc, in controlled reinforced cement concrete of M30 grade using 20mm andbelowmachine crushed graded stone aggregate including making perforations in precast slab as per drawing weigh batching, mechanical mixing, casting, vibrating, finishing of exposed faces, curing, necessary formwork, moulds, transporting and placing at all lifts,preparation of connections, grouting with cement mortar/cement grout wherever neededexcluding steel reinforcement complete all as per drawing,specification and as directed by Engineer. Note:1. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using 380 Kg. of PPC Cement per cu.m. of concrete.Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate specified in schedule F. 2. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture.Chemical admixture confirming to IS:9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility. 3. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor.
20Providing and applying painting Two coats at all levels with Exterior grade Acrylic emulsion paint (approved brand, colour and manufacturer) confirming IS : 5411 Part I & II at all elevation to give an even shade including one under coat of suitable primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces grinding, removing laitance, cement slurry, formoil, foreign matter etc., scaffolding, tools, tackles, equipment, materials, labour etc.., all complete as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Rate includes filling all voids/pinholes in concrete by cement mortar touch up work / minor plastering.
21Supplying and fixing in position of heavy quality FRP manholesteps rungs of approved maket for the inspection chamber, valve chamber etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
22Providing and fixing in position 50mm thick Thermocole board heavy density minimum 18.00 Kg/Cu.m weight wrapped in 200micron thickness polythene sheets and placing in machine foundation works complete all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
23Engineered back fillingwith selected earth including excavation from borrow pits with a lead upto 60 km filling in layer of not more than 300 mm, each layer well rammed and consolidated including water consolidation etc complying with standard specification. Note : 1) Necessary permission from state authorities for bringing the required earth will be the responsibility of the contractor. 2) The quality of earth required for the work shall be got approved for borrow pits outside the property within a lead upto 60 km from EIC before supply. 3) Necessary Testing to be carried out for compaction and as directed by the Engineer all as per specification, including excavation, loading transporting, depositing in loose layers of each 300 mm thickness, after removing / breaking clods etc. watering to optimum moisture content and compacting each layer to 95 % of maximum dry density etc., all as specified and as directed by the EIC.
