Tender For Engineering Works On Orv Sagar Kanya -- 1 PROPULSION SYSTEM - TAIL SHAFT,PROPELLER,STERN TUBE AND ROPE GUARD - SURVEY JOB-SPECS: 02NOSpropeller dia. 2750 mm, 4 blades maker: Schaffran.Stbd propeller: clockwise, port propeller :anti-clockwise.Rope guards to be removed,cleaned and refitted after completion of job.propeller drop to measure before and after renewal of seals.propellers blades to buff/polish and surface finish of blades to carry out.apply grease/varnish.blade roots and tips both sides to check for cracks using dye penetrant test by competent team and shown to surveyor - 4nos on each side.fwd and aftseals systems to be checked under static head for leakages post assembling of new seals.Both the propellers to be removed from tail shaft.both propeller to be produced for survey and after completion of survey and necessary repairs propellers to be fitted back as per makers procedure propellers nut to be tightened as per makers procedures and nut to be locked in presence of ships staff, propellers cones to be filled with fresh tallow. Complete withdrawal of tail end shaft by disconnecting the muff couplings. All fitted bolts to remove from muff coupling.while withdrawing tail shaft care should be taken for the temperature sensors provided in the stern tube in both aft and fwd bushes. After withdrawal the tail end shaft to place on support on dock floor safely with all lockings.inspection of tail end shaft cleaning,polishing,calibration of tail shaft and stern tube bushes and required NDT tests to be carried out to fulfil class requirements and shafts to be produced for survey. After completion of survey same to fit in place along with propeller andaccessories as per procedure.all clearances to measure and restore the clearances to class recommendation. Shaft seals(fwd & aft) along with chrome liners to be renewed, chrome liners to be calibrated and machined/skimmed to the size.spares ship supply.chrome liners machining works are in contractor scope.after fitting of tail shaft stern tube fresh oil to be taken in the system and recheck for any leakages for 12 hrs before undocking of the vessel. All plugs to be fitted with new copper washers and wire lashed with ss lashing wires.Overhauling of the both shaft brake sytem including all accessories and satisfactory operation to be showned.Thrust bearing (port & stbd) oil glands to be checked,both thrust bearings to be opened up for survey. Clearances to be taken and recorded and shown to surveyor. Stern tube system oil to be drained(approx 1200 ltrs each),collected in empty drums,stern tube to be thoroughly cleaned and stern tube bushes to be polished.All activities to be carried out in the presence of suptd/surveyor/ceo.all consumables,grease,varnish,sealantputty,tallow,adaptors,ss rope net cutter,wraping sheets,copper washers,ss lashing wires,polishing rolls,ss fasteners,dp test kits and spares for brake system are procurment,supply and fitment in contractor scope.all machining works,hydraulic power packs,hydraulic jacks,pullers, certified lifting tools and slings,eraction of staging and materials,eye pad welding and testing, all welding and gas cutting works are in contractor scope. 2 RUDDER ( FLAP RUDDER ) AND STEERING GEARMAKER : M/S HEINZHINZE, GMBH. TYPE : 10-45-25The port and stbd rudder drop and jumping clearances to be taken and inspection to be carried out,pintle bushes and jumping bar to be renewed if required,Rudder removed from position and kept on dock blocks,Rudder pressure testing and float coat to be carried out,Survey to be showned to class and ship staff, After survey Fitment of Rudder in position with new palm bolts,supply of new palm bolts(16 nos) in contractor scope(material class certificate required),palm bolts machining and rudder hole reaming to be carried out required size.Rudder palm bolts to be locked and cemented.Steering gear foundation bolts to be renewed, supply of new bolts in contractor scope(material class certificate required) Steering gear hydraulic rams (3 nos) seals oil leaking, ram cylinders to be overhauled including chrome plating and seals to be renewed. For above work all Consumables, Fish oil,cement/ sealing puttey,ram seals are procure,supply and fitment in contractor scope.eye plate welding works, Gas cutting works and Certified Lifting tools and Tackles are in Contractor scope 3 Bow thruster: type: fu-80-ltc-2250 make: Brunvoll as Norway,running hours : 125229 Hrs.Bow thruster to be overhauled and all oil leakages rectified, inspection to be carried out under the supervision of makers service engineer and presented for survey.oil collected in empty barrels(Oil Grade prime 68).Propeller to clean, polish and varnish as required all clearances drops to be measured and recorded.Sea trails to be carried out in presence of OEM engineers,required material and consumables procure,supply and fitment in contractor scope.all certified tools and measuring insruments (OEM requirments) are under contractor scope. 4 Azimuth thruster: type: fu-80-ltc-2250 at: make: brunvoll as norway,running hours : 80353 Hrs.Azimuth thruster to be overhauled and all oil leakages rectified, inspection to be carried out under the supervision of makers service engineer and presented for survey.oil collected in empty barrels. approx 1200lts(Oil Grade GRXP 150).Propeller to clean, polish and varnish as required all clearances drops to be measured and recorded.Sea water leakage from Azimuth Thruster seal. Seal to be replaced and leakage to be rectified.Sea trails to be carried out in presence of OEM engineers,required material and consumables procure,supply and fitment in contractor scope.all certified tools and measuring insruments (OEM requirments) are under contractor scope.Azimuth thruster locking block pin to dismantle and to renew locking block and assemble.Lubricate with grease, new split pins 2 nos to install.Required material and consumables procure,supply and fitment in contractor scope. => Limited
