Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 min before placing the filler board and pouring sealant compound, thereafter filler with premoulded 25mm thick compressible polyurethane closed cell type filler board as specified cross link polyurethane foam backup rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212 BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/- 30% complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M&L for formation 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC, early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre moulded 25 mm thick compressible polyurethane closed cell type filler board as specified. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 min before placing the filler board and pouring sealant compound. Placing of closed cell medium density cross link polyurethane foam backup rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212 BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/- 30%, having minimum 10 years performance guarantee applying mask tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling sealant as per method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | M&L for 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface built in cement mortar 1:4 surface finished even and fair without using extra cement with using WPC 3% by weight of cement on wall complete all as specified and directed. Note: WPC shall be measured and paid separately. |
