7Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage by mechanical means in locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and stacking in regular measurable stacks at suitable places including clearing debries, breaking clods up to 4 cm cube, etc. complete as directed. (12.50 % deduction will be made from measured quantities on account of shrinkage) For initial lead up to 1 Km and for all lifts
8Spreading of earth stacks over the crest and slope of embankment and places as directed in uniform layer of 22 cm. thick including breaking clods, dressing, ramming etc. complete where necessary including dressing of the embankment, etc. complete as directed.
9Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pegging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90 m and all lifts, etc. complete as directed.
10Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section /slope by manual means including removing the trimmed soils to a minimum distance of 30 m, complete as directed.
11Supply of Galvanized Wire Netting Sheet made of 8 SWG wire 152 mm square mesh in sheet 2.57 m × 1.66 m with longitudinal wire at 152 mm centre and 76 mm projection of each wire on all sides beyond the net size of 2.42 m × 1.5 m having knots of 12 SWG at every joints, weight of each sheet should not be less than 6.3 Kg/sheet.
12Supply of Geo-textile bags of type-A (1.03 × 0.70 m) inner to inner made of Geo-textile non-woven fabric sheets of 400 GSM manufactured from 100% virgin Polypropylene (PP) fibre with minimum properties as per IS 16653:2017 i. 13Supply of Geo Bags Type-B (Size 2.00 m × 1.50 m inner to inner) (Pillow Type) made of composite layers of Polypropylene (PP) fibre as per IS 16653:2017 for Nonwoven and IS 16654:2017 for Woven: Woven Geo-textile for the outer cover (300gsm): The woven geo textile is woven with multifilament woven fabric manufactured from ultra violet stabilized polypropylene. Geo-textile used to manufacture geo-textile bags should have high mechanical properties for enhanced durability along with enhanced puncture, abrasion and U.V. resistance characteristics. Geo-textile should be inert to biological degradation and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids. Properties i.
