8a) Cleaning of Marine Growth: M&L for Preparation of existing concrete Tie beams as specified, removal of dry/ oil / sea weed growth/ dampby means of mechanical grinding machine to achieve a rough, coherent substrate having an excellent anchor profile removing all the loose material, rust, dirt etc., clean and dry the surface by using vacuuming equipment, water jet and compressed air. If required surface shall be lightly grit blasting or detergent washed to get PH value neutrality complete all as specified and as directed.

20Intial load test: Supplynecessarykentledgeand performvertical and horizontal load tests on 900mm dia Piles according to the specification. This including plaform prepaaration, nacessary arrangment, with requried tools, machinary, plants, dial gauges, docmentations and arrangamnets as per IS code 2911 Part IV and directed by EIC.

25SECTION - 3 CONSTUCTION OF SUPERSTRCTURE OF THE JETTY
26Surface Finishing and Rehabilitation
27Surface finishing:Material & labour for existing old concrete pile cap surface with griding machnie and manual chisels and further the surface is cleaned with water jet, again cleaning the surface with blower to remove all loosefine particles present on the surface and expsoing the dowel bars of any dia of min development length of 50D, M&L for raggiling and preparation of rusted surfaces ofsteel reinforcement with metal wire brush for cleaning the surfaces free from loose rust and applying ofrust remover cum passivatorwith brush to the rusted reinforcement, and removing rust as flex after 24 hours of application of rust remover with the help of wire brush / sand paper and thoroughly wash the surfaces with the help of water pressure and allowing the cleaned surfaces completely. (Note: Reinforcement / welded steel wire fabric shall be measured and paid seperately as "supply only rate" under respective items in this schedule).
28Application Anti Corrosive (Alkaline): M&L and Application of two coats of alkaline water based rust converting primer as per manufacturer"s method of applicationto exposed reinforcement bar corrosion protection system to old reinforcement of makeby approved manufacturer or E-in-C"s complete all as specified and directed.( Area of cleaned reinforcement steel bar shall only be measured for payment). Spec: Alkaline Rust converting primerin two coats conforming to ASTM-B-117 & ASTM-G-60-86 to exposed existing rebars after removing & cleaning loose rust by wire brush and leave it for 6-8 hours. The rust converter shall have a minimum pH of 7.5 and shall be able to convert both hematite and magnetite forms of rust shall pass 400 alternate immersion cycles in 3.5 % NaCl.
29Application Anti Corrosive Epoxy Phenolic: M&L and Application two coats Epoxy /Phenolicanti-corrosive protective coating as per manufacturer"s method of applicationtoreinforcement bar over applied rust converting primer corrosion protection system to existing reinforcement of make by approved manufacturer or E-in- C"s complete all as specified and directed.( Area of cleaned reinforcement steel bar shall only be measured for payment). Spec: Anti-corrosive coating(CSIR/CBRI know how) in 2 coats with time interval of minimum 6 hours. The coating shall have ECorr value of -45 mV against SCE in 3.5 NaCL for 100 hours and electrochemical evaluation of max 0.5 mA /cm2.
30Application of Bonding Agent: M&L and Application of single coat of bond agent for new to old concrete Epoxide Resin based agent, apply of epoxy on concrete surface by brush and other tools and tackels, Apply concrte/cememnt plaster/gunite on bonading agent approx 30min. after application under any circumstances within one hour or by approved manufacturer or E-in-C"s complete all as specified and directed. Conforms to ASTM-C-882-87 (Arizona Slant Shear Test) of pot life 30 minutes for 2 lt mix at 25°c. Apply Material & labour applying a coat of high bond strength structural grade bond coat Spec: A coat of structural grade epoxy bond coat having excellent water and alkali resistance and has long tack free time of more than 120 minutes by brush conforming to ASTM-C-882-87 to the prepared concrete surface to be repaired / strengthened. This is applied prior to the application of polymer repair mortar / epoxy mortar / Micro concrete to have monolithic action between old concrete surface and new concrete surface.
31Anchore Holes: M&L for providing Anchoring holes by drilling 30 mm dia holes up to depth of 175mm in concrete surfaces and fixing Max 25 mm diaTMT bars anchor rods as additinal reniforcement by using epoxy putty chemical manufactured by any other approved manufacturer of E-in-C"s branch (Mixofbase and hardener of the epoxy )in defective concrete area ofthe slab / column / beams etcor any other structural member as per site requirement after cleaning the drilled hole by using drilling machine and after dryingclean the surface with blower to remove all loose &fine particles present in the hole.The Mix of base and hardener of the epoxy resin shall be prepared by thorough mixing of base & hardener by the help of spatula. After preparing the mix the holes shall be filledto a minimum depth of 1/3rd of the hole with the prepared epoxy resin and the reinforced bar shall be inserted to full depth of hole and extra length of the reinforcement bar shall be bent into the concrete to maintain proper cover to the reinforcement complete.
32Micro Concreting: M&Lcement based Micro-concrete of compresive strength40 Mpa at 28 days, manufactured by construction chemicals manufacturer by approved manufacturer of E-in-C"s branch including necessary form work with steel jack systemand steel propsto support the form work for palcing& holding of micro concrete as required at site complete all as specified and directed (Note :- 1. Cement based Micro-concrete shall be of pre packed single component, chloride free, sulphate free, non shrink, free flow, self compacting, ready to use after mixing water in specified proportion of approved quality.to achivehigh strength, dual shrinkage, compensated. 2, Micro concrete shall be used when thickness of reapir workis within 50 mm to 200 mm. 3 . Form work shall beprovided for palcingmicro concrete patch reapir as required at sitewith steel jack sysytemand steel propsto support the form work. 4 cost of Form work is included in the quoted rates) Spec: Free flow, shrinkage compensated, high strength traversing type corroion inhibiting micro concrete wherever required over bonding coat having , compressive strength of min. 40 MPa as per ASTM-C- 579 and flexural strength of min. 6MPa as per ASTM-C- 348 for confining the concrete elements.
33Shuttering: Supply, Unloading at site, Storing, Taking delivery from Stores, Shifting to site, provide Wrot shuttering for insitu concrete work in true to line, level and size, free from surface irregularities and other defects. The form work shall be close fitting to prevent the loss of cement paste from the concrete and adequately propped, braced and framed to prevent deformation under weight and pressure of wet concrete, constructional loads, wind, vibrations and other forces. All form work shall be cleaned and coated with approved proprietary mould oil before use; care shall be taken to keep all reinforcement away from contact with such oil. Stagging, Working Platforma and Pantoon: Providing and Supply of jack system or CT prop and MS frame for of spacefied material and approved E-in-C"s.
34Construction of Super Structure of Jetty - On Old Piles
35RCC: Supply, Unloading at site, Storing, Taking delivery from Stores, Shifting to site of Cement, Aggregate & Sand etc. for providing , mixing and placing RCC of Grade M-35 garde for Short Column, Deck Beams, Deck Slabs, Pile Cap, Capping beams and pedestals with ordinary Portland cement using 20 mm and down size graded crushed aggregateincluding, machine mixing, compacting by vibrators, curing , hacking the surface to receive plaster etc. complete and as directed by EIC. Concrete shall conform to relevant specifications of IS 456Latest Edition.
36Reinforcment: Supply, Unloading at site, Storing, Taking delivery from Stores, Shifting to site, Cut, bend and fix in position “High Yield Strength Deformed” reinforcements of grade Fe 500D with double coated anti corosssive bars or CRS Bars this including strengthening, welding, with aprroved electrods, binding wires etc with all labour and materials complete as per drawing, standard specification and as directed by EIC. for following items. No wastage taken into account.

39Application of Protective Coat: M&L forproviding two coats (not less than 150 micron ( dry film) per coat) of carbonation resistant film chemical by any approved manufacturer of E-in-C"s branchof 150 microns complete all as specified and as directed.

46Guniting - Wet Proccess: M&L for 40 mm thick gunniting by chemical mortar prepared by approved manufacturer of E-in-C"s branchmixed with 6 mm down graded crushed stone aggregateon prepared concrete surfaces complete all as per manufacture"s instruction & as directed..( Note :- 25 kg Renderoc DS40 mixed with 12.5 kg of 6 mm downgraded crushed stone aggregate shall be mixed) or by approved manufacturer or E-in-C"s complete all as specified and directed. Spec: Dosage of 500 grams per cement bag & adding 100% polypropylene fibre Krifib at a dosage of 125 grams per bag of cement for internal and external plastering application. These additives are to be used for improving workability, impermeability, cohesion of mortar, reducing rebound loss and crack resistant properties of mortar.

49Ground Improvement - at Jetty Approch
50suitable sizefor Injection grouting for structural cracks withlow viscous epoxy resin grouting chemical by approved manufacturer or E-in-C"s branch and grouting by injecting the chemical byusing an electrically operated pressure grouting machines until the nipple refuses the grout or the grout comes out from a nearby nipples and after grouting, all the nipples shall be cut and the surface shall be finished to match the nearly surface complete all as per manufacturer"s instruction and as directed. (Note :- 1. Work shall be executed as per manufacturer"s instruction.2. The chemicals are available in two components - base and the hardener. The components of a pack shall be mixed at a time by mechanical meansusing a slow speed heavy duty drilling machine fixed with mixing paddles. Part mixing of a pack is not accepted. This cost inclued with supply of grounting chemical of shall be low viscosity epoxy based Spec: Low viscosity epoxy grouthaving viscosity less than 200 cps into concrete at 150mm to 300 mm centre to centre through electrically operated pressure grouting machines & nylon nipples of 12 mm dia fixed into 14 mm dia drilled holes at 4-7 kg /cm2 pressure and heavy flexural strength of 110-130 kg / cm2 & bond strength of 80-100 kg / cm2. Grouting to be done in cracks till the nozzle refuses to accept the grout or it flows from the adjacent nozzle and removing the nipples & sealing it with non-shrink epoxy putty.

Note: Contactor should assess the existing bollards through any one of the full member of IACS or compitative authority by inspector of factories by Govt. of A.P. If the bollards are in good condition, replacment of bollards are not requried only foundation need to be reconstructed and the exsisting bollards to be recommended.

81Fare Lead: Supply fabrication, transportation and installation of Cast iron Fair lead from a reputed manufacturers as per existing type including anchorage in bolts, Galvanized hot dipped (80 microns). 40 mm dia, fully threaded 1200 mm long, levelling and alignment as indicated in the drawing and as directed by engineer in charge. Manufacturer test certificate shall be provided along with supply and from reputed manufacturers anchor bolts. Third party certification will be ensured during fabrication and installation process.
