Upgradation/Modification of existing civil foundations of various water pumps: As per expansion plan f, the utility requirements of the plant must be enhanced. The pump finalization to meet the additional volume has been completed by AMNS. The contractor scope includes the following items. Mode 1: Modifications in existing pump house civil foundation. 1. Visiting the site to understand the existing pump foundations. 2. Studying the GA drawings of new high-capacity pumps, motors, and existing foundations. 3. Detailed study and submission of report to the necessary modifications required to existing foundations. 4. Submission of all design and detail Engg drawings with minimum modifications along with BOQ and bar bending quantities to be given. 5. The piping modifications at sump or discharge if any w.r.t new pumps should be identified, and design and feasibility analysis have to be taken up accordingly. Any civil related application of sealant along specification need to be suggested. New pump house civil works <(>&<)> Head loss report: 1. A new pump house is proposed to be constructed beside the existing pump house for which tapping will be taken from existing sump. However, the head loss due to tapping should be calculated and the final suction head available in the new pump house to be calculated with the available data. All calculation methodology and detailed report has to be submitted.( Please note the design new pump house was completed by AMNS and was not included into this proposal). 2. It has to be noted that as the modification of the existing pump house results in plant numerous shutdowns. AMNS intends to reduce the no of shutdowns involved in the utility upgradation. So, the contractor has to do a detail analysis on arrangement of pumps within new pump house and existing pump house such that the shutdown required for modifications in existing pump house will be minimised. Piping, Piperack design, Structural design related to conveyor modification: Design and DE of Piping, Pipeline support/ Piperack from the new ball mill discharge to Vibrating screen <(>&<)> from screen discharge to Line1/Line2 screen underflow pump box <(>&<)> Line-2 regrind mill. The tentative GA has been given for your reference. Isometric drawings and BOQ for including valves, pipe fittings should be submitted. • The Engineering agency scope involves design of new civil foundation/ modification of existing foundations for conveyors. A modification should such V-plough or tripper or any alternative design with necessary drawing and BOQ should be submitted such that diversion of material to two different directions can be done as per operations requirement of AMNS. • Design <(>&<)> DE of all structural drawings, civil drawings of conveyors, technological structures etc will be under Engg Agency scope. However, the existing foundation may or may not suit to the new 7th Ball mill that is yet to be finalized on M/s Metso or M/s FLSmidth. So, the consultant should take up civil design and detail engineering with minor modifications to current civil foundation such that existing foundation will become suitable to the finalized Ball mill. All required design and detailed drawing shall be provided by the Engg consultancy upon AMNS submission of equipment GA drawings and load data. All modifications with detailed methodology and material specifications to be submitted with by the ENGG agency. 3. Vibrating Screen building civil and structural detailing: Vibrating screen building civil and structural detailing will be under consultant scope. All civil and structural detail engineering should be taken up upon AMNS circulation of the equipment GA drawing and load data.
