Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls, drains, trenches, and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, including Tools and Machineries and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 500 m outside exit gate (By mechanical means) (Plain Cement Concrete of all Mix grades)

6EARTHWORK IN EXCAVATION: Earth work in excavation below ground level in all kind of Soil for all kind of works in foundation including pipe / cable trenches, pavements, manholes, footings, pipelines, pipe sleepers, drains, ug pits etc. including all labour, materials, dressing of sides,leveling, grading and ramming of bottom, pumping & bailing out water accumulated due to rain and / or subsoil waters by any method, (refer separate item for well point system/deep bore well system) and including disposal or stacking, leveling and neatly dressing as directed byEngineer-in-Charge, Keeping of surplus excavated material within a lead of 500 M etc. including dismantling and providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewerage, electric cables, etc., including shoring/ strutting if required, all materials tools, tackles and labour allcomplete and as directed by Owner/Engineer-in-Charge for following depth Excluded : - Site Cleaning/Removal of Trees or Trumps, General Filling, General Excavation in Hard Rock, Disposal of Earth to designated Areas Note: Payment for Excavation shall be made on site measurements

14DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS EARTH: Carting away ( transporting and disposing ) of surplus earth,lime,moorum,rubbish, (for debris disposal see separate item) including,shrubs and vegetations from construction area beyond the initial lead of 500M to anywhere including re-excavatingthe deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited)to requiredlevelsandslopes completewith all liftsas per the direction of the Owner/ Engineer-in- Charge. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (Volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids). Note : Outing gate of Refineryshall be decided by NRL / EIC as per the site condition . Thearrangement of necessary land for disposal is in the scope of the contractor & The cost should be inclusive of same. Including necessary approval from the local authorities for the dumping area.

22DISPOSAL OF DEBRIS: Carting away ( transporting and disposing ) of debris including refractory /insulation debris,shrubs and vegetations from construction area beyond the initial lead of 500M to anywhere including re-excavating/carrying the deposited debris earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the debris is transported and where it is deposited)to requiredlevelsandslopes completewith all liftsas per the direction of the Owner/ Engineer-in- Charge. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (Volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids). Note : Outing gate of Refineryshall be decided by NRL / EIC as per the site condition . 23FILLING & BACKFILLING
24BACKFILL WITH MATERIAL FROM EXCAVATION: Backfilling around foundations, plinth, trenches,levelling,sloping etc to proper grade and level with selected materials from available excavated soil meeting specification TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0033 within a lead of 500 meter and upto 2Km, including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, breaking clods, loading, transporting and laying at all depths / heights in layer of 200 mm loose thickness, watering and ramming to proper compaction to achieve 95%maximum proctor density, dressing etc all complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Compacted thickness shall be considered for volume of works measurement and payment)
25BACKFILL WITH MATERIAL SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR: Backfilling around foundations, plinth, trenches,levelling,sloping etc to proper grade and level with excavating the earth from approved borrow pits (arranged by Contractor) including cost of backfill material along with all royalties/taxes etc, loading, transporting and laying at all depths / heights in layer of 200 mm loose thickness, watering and ramming to proper compaction to achieve 95%maximum proctor density, dressing etc all complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge and including certification of used material in compliance with the Soil Recommendations. (Compacted thickness shall be considered for volume of works measurement and payment)
26BACKFILL WITH SAND SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR: Supplying and filling SAND from Approved source of specified quality under floors, in foundations, plinths, tank foundations, cable trench,levelling,sloping etc. for all depths and heights including cost of sand,royalties, transportation to site for all leads and lifts,including loading, unloading, spreading in layers of loose thickness not exceeding 150 mm,watering,ramming,compacting with mechanical compactors and/or other equipment to the specified levels to achive 85% relative density as per IS:2720 Part XIV,including preparation of subgrade to the required slope,providing testing apparatus and testing the degree of consolidation all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.The rates shall be inclusive of the cost of all labour,material,equipments etc. all complete
27MICRO GRADING:Micrograding with material conforming to specification TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0033 to required levelling, performed aftter completion of all works as directed by E-I-C, making approach, Surface dressing of backfill area as per specifications, levelling for laying paving where required, slope,clearing/removing extra soil,debris etc., micrograding to level as per drawings and as per directed by E-I-C,verify final gradient of ground,finishing of ground surface by hand compactor./roller as required,inspection testing, all materials, tools, tackles, labour etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
28CLEARING GRASS: Clearing the area of grass, rank vegetation, wild growth, bushes,shrubs, trees and plants upto 30 cm girth measured at a height of 1.0M above ground level from road side berms, under pipelines and structures, tank farms, drains, yards etc. by removal of grass ,plants etc. by uprooting/scrapping upto depth of 150 mm completely from ground and making good the area disturbed, levelling area, collecting all uprooted vegetation etc. bundling into heaps and disposal outside owner’s battery area at earmarked places only within a lead of 4 km with contractor"s own transport, all tools, tackles, labour etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
29FELLING TREES: Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots, stacking of serviceable materials within owner’s battery area as directed and disposal of unserviceable materials etc. outside owner’s battery area ,all complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.
