1Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 M wide and n. exc 1.5 M in depth for foundation etc or shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc not exc 10 Sqmt on plan and getting out as in soft loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.
2Excavation over areas n exc 1.50 M deep and getting out in soft loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.
3Retuming, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm, ater sorting & screening the sweet soil obtained from excavation complete all as specified and as directed.
4Removing soil and debis to a distance of 1.5 Kms complete all as specified and as directed.
5Supplying on site garden soil well (sweet soil) passed through 20 mm sieve and 90% to pass through IS sieve of 10 mm size free from stone rubbish like lumps, stones, roots and other foreign materials suitable for gardening. The soil should be fresh from quarry. The colour of the soil generaly be red incduding cost of all materials, labour, transportation, all tools, plants, taxes, octroi etc. complete all as specified and as directed. (Stack/lorry measurements will be taken and 20% deduction shall be made towards voids).
6Supplying on site manure, well decayed, well dried, well powdered, without clods and free from stones, dried gass and other rubbish material, The colour of manure shall be black. The manure screened through sieve at designation 4.75 micron including carriage at site complete all as specified and as directed. The manure will be measured by measuring box.
7Supplying on site recently produced Neem oil in form of cake stacked and used within 15 days from proOcurement @ 1 Kg per Sqmt of soil to be mixed only for the top 300 mm deep soil. To prevent white ant attack to the roots of the plants complete all as specified and as directed.
8M&L for planting large feature Trees in 0.6 mtr x0.6 mtr x0.6 mtr Pit, applying 10 gm DAP fertilizer in root zone in each pit, filling the pit with fresh garden soil/silt, sand and manure in ratio of 3:1 by volume (3 part of stacked volume of earth after reducing by 20% for void, 1 part of stacked volume of manureafter reducing by 8% for voids) mixing soil/silt, sand & manure thoroughly well as directed, watering with applying chemical insecticide phorate or equivalent as per manufacturer instructions, applying fertilizer NPK& mixing as per instruction of manufacturer, planting 1 to 2 yr healthy and 4 to 5 Feet (4"-5) tall specific feature trees sapling as per specification 8/10 M centre to centre along intemal road and boundary maintaining till well established by watering weeding, stiming of soil replacing of casualties etc. complete all as specified and as directed. The copntractor will responsible & take all suitable measures to protect the planted saplings from cattle, salt spray and highwind pressure & snowballs. (Note: -A- (a). Excavation of pit shall be measured and paid under item 1 above. (b). Removing of surplus soil of pit shall be measured and paid separately under item-4. (c). Supply of garden soil and manure shall be measured and paid separately in item 5, 6 & 7. (d). Chemical insecticide phorate for termite control shall be paid in item No 12. (e) NPK fertilizer and DAP fertilizer for root zone shall be paid separately in item No 13 & 14 respectively.) for following plants:-

16M&L for Planting shrubs/hedges : Preparing the pits/strips upto depth of 0.3 mtr including applying the DAP fertilizer in root zone@ 25gm/Sqm, filling the pit with a mixture of manure and sweet earth.at the ratio of 1:3 (one manure three sweet earth) and supplying and planting Shurbs/hedges of good approved quality (as per site given) heaithy grown up saplings with good roots system, plant shall be of minimun 0.30 to 0.60 mtr tall from ground level at the time of planting , daily watering, deweeding, adding requiredfertilizers, replacing the died plants, spraying of pesticides all complete incl cost of all materials, labour, tools, plants, fertilizers withoutany extra cost etc.complete all as specified and as directed. The copntractor will responsible & take all suitable measures to protect the planted saplings from cattle, salt spray and highwind pressure & snowballs. (Note: -A- (a). 17(a) Large shrubs Golden Duranta, Hibiscus lafrance, Ixori Dwarf red, Techooma Capancia etc with 10 plants in one sqm as islands in green areas.
18(b) Small shrubs as ground cover in service corridors, sewer line etc @ 150 mm clc
19(c) hedges along internal lawns/green areas.
20(d) Climbers/creepers along peripheryboundary wall 100mm clc.
21S&F MS tree guard of 60 am dia and 1.75 mtr height made up of 20mm x 20mmx3mm MS angle with 1.5 mtr high GI netting with 0.71 mm galvanized steel wire induding two years maintenance replacing the damaged tree guards & foáng in PCC block of 1:2:4 to hold tight and handing over in good condition complete all as specified and as directed.
22M&L for preparation of ground by Preparation of ground for planting of Pusa selection No-1 grass and filling fresh garden soilsit sand and manure. Miing the garden soil, manure non edible soil thoroughy well leveling, watering on previous night and planting of Pusa selection No-1 grass as follows :-Cut the strips of 10-15 cms. Make the furrows on the filled surface. Take the fine manure without any mbture and apply in these furrows. Put the cut ribbons of the grass strips. Press thoroughly water heavily for 3-4 days. Allow to ltte dry and then apply roller 100-150 KT abovet. Water regularly. The planting ratio shall be 1Sqm matt of grass shall be spreaded in to 10 sqm on land All as directed and maintaining til well established by watering, weeding, clipping, roling etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: -A- (a). Excavation of pit shall be measured and paid under item 1 above. (b). Removing of surplus soil of pit shall be measured and paid separately under item-4. (c). Supply of garden soil and manure shall be measured and paid separately in item 5, 6 & 7.
23Supply of chemical insecicide phorate or equivalent for termite control complete all as specified and as directed.
24Supply of NPK fertilizer for mixing in soil complete all as specified and as directed.
25Supply of DAP fertilizer for root zone for plants/trees/ grass complete all as specified and as directed.
26MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE FOR PHASE : II AFTER PROVISIONAL COMPLETION OF PHASE-1 (i.e. Item No 01 to 14 above):Once in every month for plants/hedges, once in every 15 days for carpet grass/country grass/doob grass, once in every week pruning dried branches and depositing the debris / waste material at place as directing by GE and planting the new plants in place of the dead plants of same species and height luning with sods wherever required by replacing the dead patches of grass of any with the same grass as required without extra cost to the department and as directed by GE complete for all entire works as specified in herein before.
27Note : (a) Unit rates quoted against serial item No 15 above shall be deemed to include all labour, materials, tools and plants and regular watering, using necessary sprinklers, including supply and spreading/spraying organic manure, chemicals, fertilizers, perticides to the required extent, complete all as specified and directed by GE. (b) Minimum manpower per day shall be deplopyed by the contractor for the entire period of maintenance for 2 year as under (a)) Gardner-01 No Per Day .However sufficient manpower for maintenance of work of Phase-1(Ser No 01 to 14) as per site requirement shall be deployed by Contractor without extra cost to the department and payment under this item shall start after the completion of Phase-I. (c) No charges for Electric power supply and water supply for maintenance period for maintenance of arboriculture and landscaping work shall be charged by department. However, incase of shortage of water, contractor shall make own arrangement for maintenance period and no extra cost shall be paid by department. (d) Final bill shall be paid after Final completionof Maintenance period under item No 15 above.
