17M&L for fixing in repairs Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required with galvanised iron strip 32x6 mmincluding dismantling old one, complete all as specified and directed.
18M&L for fixing in repairs Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required with 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wireincluding dismantling old one, complete all as specified and directed.

28Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover factory made as per IS 5820-1970, class HV, type 1 , size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, complete all as specified and directed.
29Supply and lay GI tubes light grade 80 mm dia bore galvanised with all fittings laid in trenches etc for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.
30M&L for painting of HT11 KV RCC/Steel four pole structure with two coat of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of primer after preparation of old surface, complete all as specified and directed.
31M&L for painting of HT11 KV RCC/Steel two pole structure with two coat of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of primer after preparation of old surface, complete all as specified and directed.
32Cutting /trimming tree branches along the over head HT/LT lines up to 3.0 mtr from electric line on both sides of the span and disposing of the cut tree-branches at places, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i)Necessary permission will be obtained from department by contractor one day prior to trimming in particular area and shut down of that area shall be arranged by department. (ii)The overhead line shall be maintained for whole period of contract and the payment shall be made once in entire Contract period only. (iii) Any No. of conductors/wires between two poles will be treated as one span. (iv) Cutting/ trimming to be carried out in patches as per requirement.
33M/L for stringing of HT/LT Over head line ( ACSR) of any size of overhead line complete including binding with ACSR conductor near pitted conductor, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Stringing of threephase of conductor per span shall be measured and paid separately
34Cutting the tarmac / hard standings and excavating in trenches across the road for laying cable including making good the excavated portion by means of PCC 1:3:6, type C1 matching with the surroundings, complete all as specified and directed.
35Material &labour for fixing in repairs Stay assembly complete with accessoriessuch as MS stay plate of size 300mmx300mmx6mm thick, stay rod 20mm dia, stay bow, nuts, bolts and check nuts of GI including GI stay strand of size 7/4 mm all as shown in electrical plate No. 1 of SSR Part-I of 2009 , complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work ( Excavation, Returning & refilling and removal), PCC, stay clamp and disc type insulators will be measured and paid separately under relevant schedule items).
36M&L in replacement for Loop type insulator large size with overall dimensions 90x140mm with clearance of hole 25.5 mm vitreous white brown or green , complete all as specified and directed including dismantling old defective insulators.
37Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 (Using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete for stay , complete all as specified and directed.
38M/L for strip opening the metering cubicle of HT panel of rating 11 KV, 3 phase comprising of following repairs in replacement, inspecting, overhauling and servicing/ re-fixing of the spares etc, complete all as specified and directed.a) Dismantling the complete instrument chamber/ HV cable box. Decarbonising/ cleaning the complete HT 11 KV 3 phase independent bus bar, bus bar chamber of HT panel and inspecting the bus bar insulators.b) Checking, inspecting the Numeric/ microprocessor/IDMT relays, multifunction meters/energy meters, ammeters and voltmeters for their serviceability and functionality etc complete.c) Checking complete electrical tripping circuit of HT panel including control wiring from secondary system rotary to tripping coil, auxiliary switch male and female housing cut out, etc. and wiring including replacement of damaged wire at places including operation on DC system, testing and commissioning complete all as directed.
39d) Inspection of CTs and PTs if any. Replacing the defective CT/PTs incl accuracy in checking of the CT wiring including identification to the base and connecting links to main switch complete all as directed by Engineer -in- Charge. e) Inspecting of indicating lamps, rotary switches/selector switches, toggle switches etc complete. Notes: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, minor spares like nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, lugs, compound etc. to put in to the HT metering cubicles /panels in serviceable condition, testing and calibration all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Major spares like CTs, PTs, relays, ammeters, voltmeters, multifunction meters, energy meters, indicator lamps, control wiring, rotary/selector & toggle switches, calibration of relays etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule "A" . However the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any other minor spares require replacement.
40Disconnect and taking out the Numeric/ Microprocessor based relay/IDMT relay of any type of any Make from 11 KV HT panel, cleaning the contacts, calibrating the relay by conducting secondary injection tests, checking of current transformer, rectification of defects in control wiring for proper tripping of circuit breakers through CTs and relay and tripping coils, adjustment/setting to plug and time multiplier settings of the relay to achieve the discrimination in tripping, tune/synchronise upstream breaker relay settings, re-installation of relay, testing & commissioningetc , complete all as specified and directed. Note: The Contractor has to arrange necessary testing Kits, testing equipments, tools etc and shall also submit detailed test reports, panel wise, duly spiral bound. Rental rates for the testing/calibration kits & connected equipments are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Testing & tuning shall be carried out in the presence of representative of the Department, to the satisfaction of the Department.
41S&F in replacement Master Trip Relay suitable for 11 KV HT panel for protection system as per site, complete all as specified and directed.
42S&F in replacement DC Supervision Relay suitable for 11 KV HT panel for protection system as per site, complete all as specified and directed.
43S&F in replacement Auxiliary Relay suitable for 11 KV HT panel for protection system as per site, complete all as specified and directed.
44Taking down HT switch gear (Vacuum circuit breaker ) of capacity11 KV 250/350 MVAcomprising of following repairs, overhauling, servicing and refixing the same after repairs/ overhauling:(a)Tripping off the breaker, lowering the breaker with raising/lowering handle and pulling out the breaker complete from the panel along with the trolley for servicing/ inspection/ overhauling. (b)Servicing/ Inspecting/ checking of automatic safety shutter operation for serviceability and replacement of spares if required. (c)Servicing/ Inspecting/ checking ofcircuit spoutand circuit spout connections for RYB phases and replacement of spares if required. (d) Dismantling and checking of cross bar assembly, fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker, trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, epoxy spout, isolator assembly etc. (e) Setting, reassembling, cleaning, adjustment of fixed contacts, main contact, arcing contacts and chamber baffle pot assembly, moving contact for proper setting of auxiliary contacts operating mechanism.(f)Servicing/ Inspecting/ checking ofsecondary sockets /busbar earthing plugs/ earthing sockets and replacement of spares if required. (g) Checking, setting and adjustment of lowering and raising operation of the breaker trolley. (h) Lubrication and greasing of all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear, isolation resistance of trolley of with vacuum interrupter assembly.
45The inspection of HT switch gear shall involve:- (i) Inspection of truck & hoist assembly. (ii) Inspection of tank assembly & barriers. (iii) Inspection of assembly & components of solenoid assembly. (iv) Inspection of assembly & components of dependent mechanism. (v)Inspection of assembly & components of spring box mechanism. (vi)Inspection of motor mechanism spring charge assembly (vii)Inspection of assembly of trip unit & related components Notes: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, painting of VCB panels with approved colour all as per existingetc. to put in to the VCBs and panels in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Major spares like Breaker bushings, vaccum interrupter assly, busbar spout, busbar spout connections, circuit spout/circuit spout connections/buffer fixed contacts, moving contacts, tank assly/barriers, solenoid spares, dependent/spring mechanism/ motor mechanism, trip unit etc will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule "A". However the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any other minor spares require replacement.(ii) the servicing shall be carried out by Authorised service centre as approved by GE
46Supply and fix the following spares suitable for 250 MVA to 450 MVA HT switch gear VCBs and 11 KV HT panel repair of work under relevant Schedule
47Supply and fix 1.5 sqmm flexible PVC stranded copper conductor cable, unsheathed, 1100 V grade for control wiring.
48S&F 2.5 sqmm flexible PVC stranded copper conductor cable, unsheathed, 1100 V grade for control wiring.
49S&F in replacement LED Indication Lamps, complete all as specified and directed.

69Supply, install, connect, testing and commissioning in replacement of30 V DC auxiliary power source with 2Vlead acid cells for protection of power control system comprising of the following all as standard practice and as specified including dismantling old battery power pack system complete.(a) 30V/100AH VRLA battery pack consisting of Lead acid cell batteries minimum 15 Noswith 2 V per cell in float charge condition, 2.75V per cell in Boost charge condition, 1.75V permissible cell voltage at the end of dischargecomplete with discharge duration of 10 hours.(b)DC buses of flat and of adequate cross section and length fixed to epoxy insulator supports as required.(c)Copper cable of adequate size and length from battery charger to bank of battery and battery bank to auxiliary supply panel. Note : The Contractor shall submit type test report as per IS 3136 & IS 4540 before installation , commissioning and claiming for payment.

71M&L for disconnecting carefully electrical connection from both HT/ LT (primary & secondary) sides of the transformer, keeping them at safe side and taking out the buttransformer/Voltage stabiliser indoor/ outdoor typeof capacity250 KVA to 500 KVA, 11 KV/ 0.433 KV, step down any make for carrying out complete overhauling which shall comprise of the following:-a) M&L for lifting, transporting, handling, the transformer to workshop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc. including disconnecting core assembly from HT/ LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer. b) M&L for draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer in the suitable capacity of container /drums and keeping it in safe custody for reuse. c) M&L for cleaning the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt/ sludge/ foreign particles etc. from the bottom/ body of the transformer and drying up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil. d) M&L for cleaning and washing thoroughly core and windings of the transformer by hosing down with clean dry oil conforming to IS 335/1983, removing deposited dirt/sludge/foreign particles from the windings/ core, thorough inspection of windings, providing insulations to leads and terminals, heating/ drying/ baking complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc, complete all as specified and directed.
72e) Lifting and refixing core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully, connecting primary/ secondary/ Neutral connections to the bushings assembly, fixing of tap change over including tightening of nuts, bolts, washers of the coreto reduce humming noise all as directed) Refilling the filtered transformer oil in the shell of transformer complete) Refixing the top cover including replacement of cork sheet/ gasket 8mm thick, tightening of nuts/ bolts/ washers etc. and replacement of breather with silica gel crystal type all as directed by Engr-in charge. h) Lifting/ shifting to the place from where removed or to any location as directed and re-installing the transformer including connecting primary/ secondary/ neutral connections etc. all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. j) The inspection of transformer shall involve:- i) Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts. Ii) Checking all brazings, joints, tap heads and connection joints. iii) Checking all jumpers, terminations/ connections inside the transformer. iv) Checking the Buchholtz relay/ conservator MOG if any. v) Painting of transformer complete with two coats of synthetic enamel paint externally transformer shell complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) Inspection of tap changer, checking the moving and fixed contacts for contact wear and connection to winding.
73k) Conducting the tests on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magnetic imbalance, short circuit etc. in presence of Engr-in-Charge and test results shall be signed both by the contractor and Engineer -in-Charge and kept on record. Note:- (i)Any damage to insulators/ bushes/ windings etc. while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to Department. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody.(ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of provision of alternate stand by transformer of suitable capacity (on rental basis) from workshop till repairs to existing transformer and the cost of rent, transportation to and fro, installation & connection also deemed to be included the quoted rate for the same. (iii) M&L for rewinding/ re-insulation of HT/ LT (primary/ secondary) coils, bushes, studs, Transformer oil, cable box, replacement of buchholtz relay if any etc will be measured and paid separately.
74All as per Item No. 67 herein before butbuttransformer/Voltage stabiliser indoor/ outdoor typeof capacity 160 kVA to 200 kVA, complete all as specified and directed.
75All as per Item No. 67 herein before butbuttransformer/Voltage stabiliser indoor/ outdoor typeof capacity 50 to 100 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.
76Filtration of transformer oil of transformers installed at various locations to achieve di-electric strength not less than 50 KV at 2.5mm gap as per relevant IS with portable filtration plant, testing of the oil for the di-electric strength before filtration and after filtration , complete all as specified and directed.
77Supply and topping up of transformer oil with di-electric strength not less than 50 KV in to the conservator tank/ body tank of the transformer/ OCB etc at various locations, complete all as specified and directed.
78M&L for rewinding of distribution (HT/LT)transformers of capacity ( 50 KVA to 500 KVA)/ typeby winding the defective coils with new copper wire as per I.S. of same gauge and existing size together with new insulated materials/ bracings before placing in to the transformer and assembling the coil with new insulation and fitting the coils in the chamber, testing and commissioning the transformer and recording the test results , complete all as specified and directed. [Note: M&L for re-insulation of serviceable coils will be measured & paid separately under relevant items.]
79M&L for rewinding of distribution (HT/LT)transformers of capacity ( 50 KVA to 315 KVA)/ typeby winding the defective coils with new aluminium wire as per I.S. of same gauge and existing size together with new insulated materials/ bracings before placing in to the transformer and assembling the coil with new insulation and fitting the coils in the chamber, testing and commissioning the transformer and recording the test results , complete all as specified and directed. [Note: M&L for re-insulation of serviceable coils will be measured & paid separately under relevant items.]
80M&L for re-insulating windings of HT/ LT distribution transformers of capacity ( 50 KVA to 500 KVA) /size/ type by strip opening of HT/ LT coils(i.e. Primary/ secondary coils) from core assembly safely, unwinding the HT/ LT coils (i.e. Primary/ secondary coils) complete, removing the old defective insulation paper and replacing with newDPC insulation to the copper/aluminium conductor, re-varnishing of the windings with super varnish including heating/ drying/ backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as per IS 1986-87 , complete all as specified and directed.
81M&L for replacement of silica gel breather of assembly for HT/ LT distribution transformers of the following capacity including dismantling old one
82(a) 250 KVA to 500 KVA
83(b) 100 to 200 KVA
84(c) 50 to 75 KVA
85M&L for replacement gun metal drain valves of transformers of following sizeincluding dismantling old one:-

97M&L in replacement for providing new cable box made out of MS sheet of thickness not less than 5 mm including fabrication works, welding etc. to suit the existingtransformer size, including nuts, bolts, cable glands, termination of existing cables etc., complete all as specified and directed for the following capacity transformers:

100M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of transformers with coarse cloth/ brush and painting throughout externally on exposed surfaces with two coats of smoke grey colour synthetic enamel paint or as approved colour including writing of transformer details on plinth in white enamel painton black enamel paint back ground complete including one coat of white wash for base foundation, complete all as specified and directedfor the following capacity in-door/ out-door type transformer:-

108M&L for detecting HT/ LT UG cable faults located in any stretch/ depth with sophisticated cable fault locator consisting of microprocessor based pre-locator system, HV surge generator of capacity upto 16 KV, fault pin point surge wave receiver, cable identification instrument , cable tracer for exact location of under ground cable routes, complete all as specified and directed.Note: The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of transportation of equipment from any location and charges for service engineer for identifying thefault including their boarding & lodging complete.
109Notes :The Schedule of Credit amount shall be deducted from the total of this schedule(BoQ)to arrive at Contract Sum.
