30Wet Mix MacadamProviding, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete as per technical clause 406 of MORT&H specifications.
31Precast Cement Concrete Kerb Providing and laying factory made rubber moulded smooth finish cement concrete Kerb M-20 grade 250mm high with bottom width 165mm and top width 115mm made over strong vibratory table and fixing with cement mortar 1:2 as per MORT&H specifications
32Providing and installation of Vertical Garden/ Green Wall a) Providing and fixing UV stabilized Poly propylene module of approx. size 32cm x 30cm x 9 cm having wall thickness of 2mm. Each module having specially designed 10 plantation sections of size 6cm x 15cm with rib strip of 60 degree angle to maintain the center of gravity. Each plantation section having 4 slots for the water perforation with 1 bigger slot at the corner making the water travel in ‘Z’ pattern for proportionate irrigation. Rip Slot at the top of the module of size 16.2mm for drip pipe fitting. The module shall be installed over poly propylene mounting strip to make it theft proof. b) Providing and fabricating M.S. structure to support vertical green wall and including fixing with existing strucutre, if any includingspecially designed G.I press sections for mounting strip support & fabricating it on M.S. structure. c) Providing and fixing Poly propylene mounting strip 30cm wide , having holes at distance of 15cm including all associated hardware. d) Providing and filling classified composition of longevity enabled growth media having water retention properties enriched with natural mineral nutrients and slow releasing natural fertilizers.
33e) Providing & planting of suitable plants well settled and growing in longevity enabled light weight non- biodegradable growth medium. Selected on the basis of temperature, incidence of sun light and humidity on site, in pattern finalized in consultation with client/department and as per direction of Enginner-in-charge. f) Supply and installation of 16mm drip pipes with inline pressure compensating drippers at 15cm spacing, having 2 Ltr discharge per hour, with all fittings and fixtures. g) Supply and installation of 16mm liner low density polyethylene lateral pipe for supplying water to drip pipes at every 32cm (Water inlet point shall be provided by the client). h) 12 months maintenance of the entire system including replacement of any dead plants
34Providing and fixing Glass Reinforced Concrete (G.R.C) Brackets in approved size, pattern, design, thickness and color of approved make.. The Brackets should be made from ‘53 grade’ White Portland Cement manufactured by ‘JK Cement’ or equivalent, Quartz, Fine Silica Sand, Alkali Resistant Glass Fiber manufactured by ‘Saint Gobain’ or equivalent, Super Plasticizers manufactured by ‘BASF’ or equivalent, Polymers manufactured by ‘BASF’ or equivalent and U.V resistant Synthetic inorganic pigments should be used for pigmentation manufactured by ‘BAYFERROX (Germany)’ or equivalent. The material casting should take place in Synthetic Rubber / FRP Mould manufactured by ‘Reckli’ or equivalent. The fixing of Brackets should be ‘Dry fixing’ i.e. to be done with Stainless Steel (SS – 304) ‘U’ shaped Clamps/ dash fasteners and pins including anchoring, lifting, scaffolding etc. complete as per architectural drawing and manufacturer"s specification.
35Providing and fixing of glass reinforced concrete (G.R.C) exterior paving tiles in "Cobblestone" finish in approved shade in sizes of 152mm x 152mm. The thickness of the tiles should range between 20 to 22 mm, allowing variance of ± 5mm in accordance with IS: 1237-1980. The tiles should be made with M- 40 Grade concrete mix design having ’43’ grade Portland cement, reinforced with Alkali Resistant glass fiber and the pigmentation should be done with exterior grade synthetic inorganic iron oxide pigments manufactured by ‘BAYFERROX (Germany)’ or equivalent with high vibration technology. The pigmentation should be homogeneous and in accordance with British standard BS EN 12878:1999. The other additives should be fine washed graded quartz, super plasticizers and integrated water proofers agents and others. The tiles should be produced with high vibratory technology and their concrete mix design compressive strength should be of M-40 grade@28days.
36The top surface of the tiles should be treated with acrylic lacquer resulting in top surface water absorption of less than 1% and water absorption of less than 8% by 24 hours immersion method. The beds where tiles are to be laid should be clean, debris free, wet and mopped. The tiles should be laid to 1:4:8 PCC Concreting with cement mortar of 20mm thickness made with (1:3) Cement : Coarse Sand, adequate grooves should be maintained between 8-10mm using spacers and pointing work to be done with 1:3 ( Cement : Fine Sand) mix.
37Providing and fixing ofGlass Reinforced Concrete (G.R.C) Granite Stone Block paver 107mm X 107 mm in approved shade, 40mm thick of allowing overall dimensional variance of ±5 mm in accordance with IS: 1237-1980. The paver should be made with M-40 Grade Concrete mix design having ‘43’ Grade White Portland cement, reinforced with Alkali Resistant Glass Fiber and the pigmentation should be done with exterior grade synthetic inorganic Mineral iron oxide pigments manufactured by ‘BAYFERROX (Germany)’ or equivalent. The pigmentation should be homogeneous and in accordance with BritishStandards BS EN 12878:1999. The other additives should be fine washed graded quartz, super plasticizers and integrated water proofers and others.
38The pavers should be produced with high vibration technology and should have compressive strength equivalent to M-40 Grade@28 days. The top surface of the tiles should be sealed with acrylic lacquer resulting in surface water absorption of tiles, less than 1% and water absorption by 24 hours immersion method, less than 8%. The beds where the pavers are to be laid shall be clean, wet and mopped. The bedding for the pavers shall be20mm thick and with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and it shall be spread properly and the usage shall begin only after 48 hours.
