9M&L for bringing of approved soil ( moorum / red bajri) from out side ministry of defenceMoD land and depostied where directed complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i)Consolidated embankment shall be measured and paid with admissible allowances of SSR- 2020 (Pt -II) (ii) Proper pay receipt/ challan of earth purchased from outside of MoD land shall be submitted by the contractor before payment of RAR / Final Bill.
10Forming embankments for preparation of subgrade in 350 mm thick in two layers (150 mm thick over 200 mm thick ) including raising (or lowering ) earth, spreading in layers watering, rolling with tondome roller under optimum moisture condition to 98% modified proctor density and finished to required gradient, size and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Soil obtaibned from excavation under item No-1 will be reused. (ii)Consolidated embankment shall be measured and paid with admissible allowances of SSR- 2020 (Pt -II) (iii) Proper pay receipt/ challan of earth purchased from outside of MoD land shall be submitted by the contractor before payment of RAR / Final Bill.
11M&L for in-situ soil stabilization of 150mm compacted thickness by blending 70% pulverized soil with 30% Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) obtained from demolition of existing pavements (Crushed to grading as per Table 400-9 of MoRTH specifications),mixing with and including cement @ min 3% by weight of total mix (actual % as per mix design), watering to requied moisture content by addition of water and rolling and compaction to required density to achieve desired "K" value of 5 KG/Sqcm/cm and other parameters like indirect Tensile Strength and Plasticity Index as given in mix design. (Given proportions of soil, RCA and cement are for cost estimation only, actual proportion of soil, RCA and cement/other additive will be as per mix design. Relevant provisions of IRC:SP 89-2010 and MoRTH specifications will apply for process and quality control). Note :- The quoted rate shall include the following:- (a) Pulverizing existing soil using rotovator/ other suitable equipment. (b) Blending of soil, RCA and cement as per proportion in mix design. (c ) Spreading of cement as per quantity given in design mix. (d) Sprinkling of required water content using water bowser sprinkler. (e) Rolling and compaction with vibratory roller of static weight 80-100KN to required density as per mix design. (f) Proof rolling of constructed layer. (g) Density testing by soil density guage/ sand replacement method. (h) Cost of conducting field "K" value after laying the layer.
12Supply only OPC -43 grade cement for soil stabilization complete all as specified and directed.
13Material & labour for 100 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular sub base Course (GSB) Grade V in single layer (as per table 400-1& 400-2 of MORTH specification for Road and Bridge works) over compacted subgrade with stone aggregatesby using motor grader, spreading, levelling and rolling with tandem vibratory roller of capacity 10 Ton static weightand consolidating to required gradient and camber to achieve field compaction of at least 98% of MDD (maximum dry density) determined using modified proctor density determination method as per IS code and CBR (Minimum 30) as per MORTH for NEW RIGID PAVEMENT, complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Finished surface tolerances shall be as per table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works complete all as specified and directed.

19M&L for applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1, bearing specification as per IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.9-1 2 kg/sqm on surface of stabilized soil bases/ crusher run macadam as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.
20M & L for Min 150 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Dense Bituminous Macadam in two layers each 75mm thick Grading II (37.5 mm - 0.075mm) with VG-30 binder having minimum Marshall stability of 900 kg using paving bitumen grade VG-30 for the layer thickness 50-100 mm and using minimum bitumen content @4.5% by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver, spread, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 10 Tonne vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) is used/approved as per the job mix formula in the execution of work under this item. (b)Grading, job mix formula, laying and compaction shall be as specified in TI 09/2018 and as per Para 505 of MORTH Specification. (c) Thickness of each layer to be laid shall be got approved by before execution. (d)50% extra over minimum thickness of DBM has been considered for changes in Grade Correction layer in grade mapping survey. (e) Thickness for execution of DBM shall be considered after grade mapping survey. (f) Compaction to be continued till density achieved is between 93-95% of maximum theoretical specific gravity for laid surface. (g) Average thickness shall be 160mm thick including correction layers.

23M&L for providing and consolidating 50 mm thick premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC-1) with Min stability 12 KN using min 5.40% Elastomeric PMB 76-10 binder by weight of total mix, aggregate gradation as per Bituminous Concrete Grading 1 of Table 3.80 & 3.90 of IRC-105-2019, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.
24M&L for providing and consolidating 50 mm thick premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC-2) withMin stability 14 KN, using min 5.60% Elastomeric PMB 76-10 binder by weight of total mix. aggregate gradation as per Bituminous Concrete Grading 2 of Table 3.80 & 3.90 of IRC-105-2019, rolled and compacted to required camber and and gradient as specified and directed.
25M&L for preparing new flexible/concrete surface and painting lines dashes ( continuos/uninterupted arrows letters etc. exceeding 10cm width with two coats of water based road marking paint in white golden yellow orange or red colour over a coat primer complete all using road painting machine complete all as specified and dirceted.
26Material & labour for Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) 125 mm thick in single layer having compressive strength not less than 7 MPA at 07 days (with each consecutive group of 05 cubes showing individual strength not less than 5.5 MPa at 07 days as per para 4.1 IRC:SP:49-2014) using size of aggregates not exceeding 26.5mm (Grading and other physical parameters as per table 600-1 of MORTH specification for Road and Bridge works/Table 1 IRC:SP:49-2014), minimum cement content not less than 200 Kg/cum mixed in Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by mechanical sensor paver and compacting using double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 10 Ton static weight including necessary formwork, finishing etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Cost of cutting for transverse/ longitudinal joints, where required, shall be deemed to included in quoted rate. (b) No price adjustment shall be applicable if quantity of cement content used in the work as per approved Design mix exceeds 200 Kg.

28M & L for providing 10mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual, organic and deletirious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The sand cushion must not contain stones/ other hard or uneven matter as specified and directed.
29Supply and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (virgin quality transparent) GRADE-I conforming to IS-10889 as anti-friction layer over tack coat/ sand cushion complete all as specified and directed. Note: Side lap and end lap shall be 300 mm. The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for the laps. Area measured shall be covered area in plan.
30Material & Labour for150 mm thick Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC)work in Pavement / Dispersal / Taxi/ Link of minimum field flexural strength 45 Kg/Sqcm (lower control limit) LCL after 28 days of pavement slab using minimum 400 Kg Ordinary Portland Cement Grade 43 per cum with not exc 31.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate conforming to IS: 383 (grading and other parameters as specified in PS) and mixed with non-circular synthetic fibre reinforcement @ 0.25% of weight of ordinary portland cement grade 43 of PQC or as per manufacturer"s instruction, mixed in batching plant transported to site, laid in panels, spread and compacted using slip form sensor paver, mechanically vibrated, curing, finishing the surface by belting and brooming without using extra cement including necessary formwork etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula shall be compatible to IRC-44-2017 and IS-456. (b) The non-circular fibre synthetic reinforcement to be mixed with concrete shall be measured and paid for separately as ‘Supply only’ under respective item of BOQ. (c) All types of joints shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ. (d) Curing compound @ 3-4 litre/sqm or as per manufacturer"s instructions shall be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and when surface is dry. Cost of curing compoundshall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (d) No deduction shall be made from concrete for space occupied by construction and dummy joint. However, deduction shall be made for the space occupied by expansion joints. (e) Cost of any admixtures required to achieve the desired properties of concrete shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for PQC. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (f) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of Ordinary Portland Cement grade 43 content is used in the work as per approved Design Mix (i.e for cement exceeding 400 Kg per Cum). (g) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of use and waste of form work. (h) Surface shall be finished by transverse brooming of 1.5 mm deep as per ICAO norms or as per requirement of Air Force Authority. Brooming shall be done through auto-texturing machine and rate is included in quoted rate. (j) Ordinary Portland Cement grade 43 only shall be used.

32Material & labour for forming 20-25 mm width Expansion Joint in concrete slab for full depth by cuttingPQC to depth of upto 400 mm, using high RPM Diamond bit cutter, cleaning the joint and filling with pre-moulded compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified and applying closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and then priming top 15 mm with approved primer and filling with polyurethane based sealant (single component) complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 with minimum MAF +/- 30%, applying masked tape on the edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed. Note:- (a)The joint sealing shall be carried out by original approved applicator with sealant having 10 year performance guarantee. (b) Work shall be carried out under recommended temperature conditions specified by the sealant manufacturer. (c)Top level of joint sealant shall be as per applicable temperature conditions and season to avoid sealant extrusion/ failure.
33Material & labour for Forming Dummy / Contraction Joint using high RPM diamond cutter with intial saw cut of 3 mm width (soon after concrete has set) upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab/PQC (for slab/PQC upto 400 mm thick), widening the first saw cut to 6-8 mm width and joint to be filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia for complete length of the joint, priming the top 15 mm with approved primer, applying masking tape on edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and filling with polyurethane based sealant (single component) complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed.
