Note for Item 1 to 2:-(a) Work orders will be issued by concerned Engineer-in-Charge as on requirement basis.(b) Contractor shall be liable to supply stipulated quantity of water as per WO daily by water bowser of capacity mentioned in respective items. However water bowser of capacity 12000 ltrs will be acceptable in emergency and two Nos of bowsers will be measured as one unit for the payment purpose for item No. 1 & 3 of BOQ. If contractor fails to supply bowser due to any reason double the quoted rate per bowser will be recovered from the payments due to the contractor.(c) Water bowser shall be spacifically made for clean water and the same shall be displayed on the tanker. All water bowser shall be provided with TDS meter of superior quality and duly calibrated to check the TDS of water any time as directed by Engr-in-Charge.(d) Necessary tullu pump/Diesel engine driven pump with flexible piping arrangement as directed at site by Engr-in-Charge for pumping water from bowser to any storage location will be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the item rate quoted.(d) The maximum permissible TDS of water supplied shall be as per clause 5 of PS-II. A recovery of Rs. 1000 per 100 TDS per Bowser shall be recovered beyond the permissible TDS and contractor shall have no claim on this account.
