1Supply and installation testing and commissioning of 250KVA Capacity Diesel Engine driven generating set acoustic type as per CPCB IV norms ,4 stroke cycles, Liquid cooled developing 303 BHP @ 1500 rpm as per ISO 3046. The engine is prime rated with 10 % overload capability for every 1 hour in any 12 hours of operation. The engine shall be provided with electrical starting arrangement with AMF Panel and shall give the electrical output of 250KVA at 0.8 power factor, 3Phase at the alternator terminal. Other accessories of the engine would be as under: Make of Engine :-Greeves Cotton Ltd/Kirloskar Oil Engine Limited(KOEL)/Cummins (I) Ltd or equivalent

3Exhaust silencer Dry-type air filter Cooling system: Coolant circulation pump for jacket water Coolant thermostat for jacket water cooling system Tropicalized Radiator with fan, fan guard and fan belts ALTERNATOR: Alternator of 250KVA rating suitable for operation at 1500 RPM (at 0.8 power factor lag, 50Hz), 3 Phase, and 4 wire system. The alternator shall be Brush-less type, separately excited & self-regulated through an AVR. The alternator shall be suitable for tropical climate and generally confirm to BS: 2613/IS : 4722 & have following features. +1% voltage regulation (max) in static condition. IP23 protection with class "H" insulation and temperature rise limited to class "H" Insulation limits 2/3rd pitch winding
4Make : LS/ Crompton/ Mecalte/ Stamford Base Frame: Engine and alternator are mounted, coupled and aligned on a common channel iron fabricated Base Frame with pre-drilled holes. Fuel Tank : Daily service Inbuilt fuel tank of 385L manufactured with 14 SWG sheet complete with drain valve, air vent, inlet and outlet connection. BATTERIES : Suitable capacity batteries of 180AH capacity with its leads.
5AMF Panel made out of CRCA sheet metal enclosure 2mm thick indoor type,Consist of Double Breaker system (DG + EB) with Auto Changeover facility having 400Amps Motorized MCCB with Microprocessor based Breaker Protection, suitable contactors ,having necessary CTs for Metering and protection, Multi function meter, Earth fault Relay, Reverse Power relay etc as required with Alumin Bus bar suitably installed with angle iron legs duly mounted on PCC foundation all as directed
6Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 185 Sqmm 3.5 core.
7Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding1.5 metre in depth for foundation of stays & Poles, laying of cables etc and getting out in soft / loose soil all as specified and directed.
8Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cmusing excavated soil all as specified and directed.
9Removing excavated material/ surplus soilnot exceeding 50 metres and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding1.5 metre above the starting point all as directed.
10Supply, lay / spread in trenches, river sandincluding cleaning,spreading, levelling, punning for laying /cushioning of cable all as specified and as directed. Note:Punned thickness shall be measured and paid.
11Supply, lay in trenches burnt Bricks, old size, Sub class "B" for cable protection all as specified and directed.
12Supply and lay in repairs steel tubes, "light grade" galvanised, with all fittings of bore of tube 100mm laid in trenches for drawing cables under road/drain crossings etc all as specified and directed
13M&L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 Mtr below ground level connected to galvanised iron earth strip 32 X 6 mmby means of bolts, washers ,watering pipe 20mm dia, light gradeGI pipe, with welded funnel and wire mesh and 40mm dia light grade GI pipe with fittingas protection pipe for strip from plate electrode to test point /plant/machineries etc. including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, salt, charcoal dust, concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-I having outer dimension 60cmx60cmx60cm and internal dimension 30cmx30cmx30cm, pre-caste RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover slab of size 350x350x50mm reinforced with 8mm dia deformed bares @15 cm centre to centre both direction and 10 mm dia MS handle of suitable size charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers, necessary earth work in soft/loose soil all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I and testing complete all as specified and as directed.
