| 4 | NOTES for Item No 1:- (a) Contractor has to employ Two Nos skilled electrician /operator per shift having minimum ITI qualification in Electriciantrade from Govt recognized institute with adequate knowledge with minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance & Operation of HT & LT electrical installation in each shift of 8 hrs (total 03 shift per day) and Two Nos SSK/Helper per shift having minimum 10th pass certificate with adequate knowledge experience in each shift of 8 hrs (total 03 shift per day). The operator must be competent to carryout the routine maintanence and attending breakdowns all equipments at DSS 5. DSS 5A, DSS1 2 & Jetty cope point, calibration and setting all the relays and handle the equipment system all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) The rate is deemend to be inclusive of maintaing necessary records and documents for operation and maint of plant specified, contractor will maintain proper records of all kind of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly or what so over maintenance is carried out during contract period as per formentin a binded book/register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | (c) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to the employers as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to GE for verificationand records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding.(d)The rate quoted deemed to include for daily routine maintenance like checking and rectification of loose connection,cleaning of the VCBs, monitoring of the operation of relays, CTs and PTs of the VCBs and switching over of power supply from MDSS and monitoring the total load in VCB room. The contractor will ensure general area cleanlines and unkeep of the installationon daily basis. in case of failure a penalty of Rs 2000/- per installation per month will be levied and recovered from dues.(e) The contractor shall pay the wages to the electrician/ helper (as applicable) through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators and their wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. |
| 6 | (f) The contracotr shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (g) Cost of routine maintenance spares will be measured and paid separately under respective item here in after. However cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above. (h) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months during the Contract period of 11 months. (j) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate ofSch ‘A’ quoted rates. (k) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge.In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered. (l) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance.In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 5000/- will be recovered and levied. |

(g)The operator/helper will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the lift on daily basis. (h) The operator is responsible for daily routine check of equipments at lift room and monitoring of serviceability of lift drive and motor for lift operation. |
