Renovation of 6.6 KV, HT 400 Amp. (Yorkshire imported make) oil resistance starters of pump set No. 7 8 & 9 of 30 MGD sets at Kilokri New SPS by carrying out following job:-Dismantling of starter after removing of motor cable connections.Replacement of damaged contacts, fixed contacts & electrodes etc. as per original shape & size.Drawing of electrolyte & decarbonishing of contacts.Repairing of mains & making earth fault by strengthening the same.Job also involves cleaning of the slipring assembly & allied accessories to improve the working condition.During job it has to be ensued that supply should not be effected for a long period unless necessary & have to be carried out one by one starter only.Testing, commissioning on full load complete job in all respect as per IER requirement.
