2Conducting survey using Network Survey Vehicle to record the minimum parameter in each lane of the road but not limited to the following parameters : (i) Inventory of the road : GPS Coordinates, Pavement Type, Pavement Width, Terrain, Land use, Shoulder type and width, Drain type and width, Median Type and width, Wayside amenities, Crash barrier, Signages etc., (Note: All inventory items shall be recorded on both sides of the road and geo tagged with images) (ii) Condition of the road : Roughness, Rutting, Distress (Cracking, Potholes, Bleeding, Surface failure etc.,) (Note: All inventory items shall be recorded for each lane and Geo tagged). The pavement data collection equipment should (i) automatically measure various pavement defects through 3D profiling at normal highway speeds of up to 100 kmph. The system should have Laser Crack measurement System with geometry and IRI sensors. The system should have DGPS receiver with sub-meter accuracy equipped with inertial navigation system. It should have high resolution Odometer with at least 10000 pulses per revolution of the Tire have Class 3 Roughness device which can be operated at 10 kmph to 100 kmph and capable of measuring 8+ IRI values in very rough, unpaved and wet conditions. System should have at least 3 ROW cameras and /or 360 degree camera. World Bank class 1 portable reference profiler or its equivalent should be available to setup roughness calibration or validation sites. Software should have in-built calibration feature. The system should have office post-processing software for analysis and mobile mapping. The software should be capable of completing preliminary analysis of a day’s data (at least 50 km) in a day by one person. Post processing software integrated with the equipment should give the data output as per user defined Tabular formats covering all the pavement condition/ Road data items expected of a standard Network Survey Vehicle (iii) be able to operate during day and night. It should measure full 4 m width of the road. It should identify lane markings and should automatically adjust position to the user defined locations. The system should use lane tracking feature to remove driver influence. It must include validation tool. Distance resolution should not be more than 1 mm. Distance accuracy should be 0.01% or better. DGPS should have minimum 5 Hz update rate. Geometry unit should have inertial navigation system (gyroscope), 3 axis accelerometer and proximity sensor to give position information from the GPS and should have a built-in test (BIT) feature (iv) System should use at least 2 high accuracy 3D lasers with Inertial Measurement Unit. The lasers should be high speed lasers with speeds of 32 kHz and with 3 axis accelerometers with operating range of 20-100 kmph. 3D Lasers should be capable of measuring transverse profiles with high resolution at a frequency of at least 28000 profiles per second. Data Acquisition System (DAS) should include coordinate conversion feature which allows operators to automatically convert GPS data into any local datum. The system should display Real-time elevation measurements and IRI values during surveys and should be able to automatically calculate IRI over user defined intervals. The data output should be in generic file formats like .MDB, .CSV etc. Data acquisition system should display real-time data and status for all sensors. The system should accurately measure longitudinal and transverse slope. It should detect cracks down to 1mm. Data output should include cracking (longitudinal, transverse, alligator, multiple, sealed cracks, potholes, Rut depth/width/cross-sectional area for each wheel path, Macro texture across whole lane width in 5 AASHTO bands, Raveling, Bleeding, shoving, Curb edge, Concrete joint faulting, water pooling, Geotagged pavement images (in .JPEG format). Output should include Cross fall / slope, Radius of curvature and gradient. Raw data should be supplied in a suitable long lasting storage medium for cross checking at any time.

29Supplying of hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound, 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250gms with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface at 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass bead as per MORTH Section 803.4 and IRC: 35-2015, the material should satisfy the requirements as per MORTH specifications 803.4 and must comply with the following: a) White index for the product should be in the range of 60-70 when measured against standard reference. The applied panel 7/8 number must be submitted for checking up the white index in the department lab. In case the department approves the white index of any vendor, the department engineer may carryout random checking of the applied products at site against the approved panel. In case of any major deviation, beyond acceptance limit, department reserve the right to cancel or reject the total supplied consignment of the said material and will compell the vendor has to replace the full consignment by the desired material as per approved panel at his own cost and additional demurrages may be claimed due to loss of man days (as per the rules of the department). b) Luminance factor of the material should be in the range of 80-85% at 45 degree centigrade as per AASTHOM 249. c) Crack resistance: The applied panel cured for 7 days under ambient condition and then should be tested as per BS3262, Part-1, 1989 and should pass at the range of "0" degree centigrade to "-10" degree centigrade D) Adhesion : Strong E) Softening point: 102 degree centigrade F) Dried film finish : Smooth and uniform G) Night Vision: High as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and confirming to IS: 164-1961 (1st revision reaffirmed in 1986) and clause conforming to IRC 35-2015 and MORTH Section 803.4 (Excluding GST)
30Supplying & Fixing of Molded Shanks Raised Pavement Markers made of plastic body moulded from HIPS(HI-Impact Polysterene) or ABS or ASA ( Acrylic Strene Acrylonitriteand reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 – DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 700 Kgs. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the twin shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.(Excluding GST)
