2Cleaning septic tank of size 8 m x 3 m x 2.5 m, by sewage pumping, including pumping out the night soil sludge in tanker, washing the insides, and filling the tank with water all complete. 3Cleaning manholes/inspection chambers of outer dimension 1.35 m x 1.25 m and inner dimension 0.80 m x 0.90 m and average depth about 0.50 m (or nearby size), including mechanically pumping out sewage and night soil, flushing out with water, clearing of manhole to manhole sewage/drainage line, plastering of cracks with rich cement mortar, giving sufficient curing and testing the repair for leakage. The pumped out sewage shall be disposed off at municipally approved location.
4Cleaning 110mm dia PVCsewer line and connected elbows, Tees etc. using flexible wire and removing the tight soil and waste materials all complete including disposal of waste without causing nuisance to the public.
5Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. -

13Providing and placing in position 100 mm thick factory made machine batched & machine mixed Precast RCC Rectangular Covers on drains or footpath of various sizes, of M-25 grade cement concrete for RCC work, including cost of centering, shuttering, reinforcement of 8 mm dia TMT bars of Fe 500 grade @ maximum 100mm c/c on both ways , neat cement punning on finished surface, properly encased on all edges with 1.6 mm thick , 100 mm wide MS sheet duly painted over priming coat , reinforcement to be welded at edges with MS sheet and providing 2 Nos. 12 mm dia bar for hooks etc. i/c cost of cartage, all leads & lift, handling at site etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
14Removing clogging and cleaning open / covered drain of size about0.30 m x 0.50 m (average. depth) running around the quarters, including getting out the soil, humus and other waste matter clogging the drain, and disposing the extracted waste within 50 m lead undertaking all sanitary precautions all complete.
15Cutting branches of trees, with branches either coming within about 3 m of the building wall or leaning dangerously, including cutting the logs into sizes for sale as firewood.
16Credit for firewood logs. Rate for 1 full lot of all the usable firewood logs stacked at site.
17Cleaning with approved soap solution of RCC overhead circular water tank of capacity about 70,000 litres, including necessary plastering/repair works. Item is inclusive of the necessary scaffolding works.
18Cleaningthe open well of dia 5.00mtr by bailing out the water using 5 H.P. pumpincluding removing complete slush, deposits, mud, dirt, vegetation on side walls and cleaning the side walls with wire brush.The complete dirt shall be removed as per the directions and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. All the slush, mud etc. should be dumped on the South-East corner of the Quarter compound. The charges includes cost of labour, cleansing materials, wire brush, ladder, scaffolding, hire charges of pump sets, cost of arrangements for washing the side walls, dumping the slush / mud etc. The complete operation should be done within 48 hours and also without causing disturbance to the inmates.
19Cleaning with approved soap solution of RCC underground sump of capacity about 35000 litres, including necessary plastering/repair works.
20Structural Repair of RCC slabs, walls, columns, beams etc. in the following steps
21a) Dismantling cover concrete/cement plaster to carefully to expose rebars. b) Applying rust arresting compound of approved make over the exposed rebars, as per manufacturer"s instructions, tying additional rebars or nailing GI chicken mesh net over the area. c) Centering and shuttering d) Providing and applying micro concrete of mix 1 2 4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 10 to 12.5 mm size) of average thickness 40 mm over the exposed face. e) 6 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand) after removal of centering and shuttering Note: Area of exposed face repaired as above, to be measured for payment.
22Examination of the external and internal plumbing and drainage lines in a B-type quarter block (comprising of 10 quarters) to ascertain the integrity of the system, including
23a. Checking the integrity of water supply and drainage lines inside quarters, including fittings and joints, for leakage and rust damage b. Checking the condition of water lines on terrace, including fittings and checking for leakage c. Checking the condition of polyethylene overhead tanks for leakage d. Checking the condition of drainage lines for leakage. The payment shall be made for each quarter block, and be based on a comprehensive maintenance report made in spreadsheet format supplied by the Engineer in Charge and certified by a KWAregistered plumber.
24Waterproofing of slabs, shade projections etc. using Sika Latex ®SBR latex or SBR latex of other approved brands like FOSROC or Dr Fixit in the following steps. 1. Pretreatment of substrate by wire brushing with water jet to remove loose mortar or other friable particles, oil, grease, dirt rust, scale, paint, cement laitance, old coatings and any other contaminants or deleterious materials which reduces bond or contributes to corrosion,. 2. Preparing grout of proportion by volume 1 : 4 : 8 (1 Sika Latex® SBR : 4 Water : 8 Cement). 3. Applying first coat by brush in order to obtain a thin layer.4. Applying the 2nd coat after 1st coat is dry, approximately 4-6 hours between two coats.4. Applying the 2nd coat after 1st coat is dry, approximately 4-6 hours between two coats. 4. Applying the 2nd coat after 1st coat is dry, approximately 4-6 hours between two coats. 5. Applying a protective coat of 6 mm cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) about 2 hours after application of second coat. 6. Giving 3 to 5 days curing by covering with wet rag/hessian cloth and sprinkling water intermittently.
25The following precautions shall be taken.. During application, the mixture needs to be continuously stirred to prevent the cement particles from settling. Prepared material must be used with in 20- 30 minutes depending upon temperature humidity etc.. Ponding with water shall not be done. Note: Steps 2 to 4 are for Sika Latex ®SBR latex. Application instructions given by the specific manufacturer shall be strictly followed. Agency shall submit a 10 year performance guarantee for waterproofing.
26Cleaning inside of B-type quarter inside including adjoining shared portion of stair well and landing (including bathroom & toilet, berth slab, kitchen slab, cupboards) , including dusting off the floor, removing all waste scattered inside the room, removing damaged velcro mosquito net from windows, and removing all debris from site. After removal of dirt, the room shall be washed with detergent solution, and mopped dry.
27Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade
28Old work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm) over existing cement paint surface
29Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade

31Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint /emulsion paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.
32Removing blistered paint, mold/fungal growth, small saplings, etc. from external walls by high pressure water jet pump, including scaffolding, all complete.
33Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content.

35Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :

37Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge. 46Providing and fixing precoated galvanized iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in- charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
47Providing and fixing precoated galvanized steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete :

154The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc., wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.
