Hand tool cleaning is intended to remove all loose (as opposed to adherent) mill scale, rust, paint, and other contaminants that may be detrimental to a coating application. • After surface preparation, thickness measurement of existing paint will be randomly taken at 20 points. • Application of primer-based paint of reputed make like Stanvac – Super Galva 40 or equivalent for switchyard structure after surface preparation, required thickness of 70mic DFT after two coats. Paint in vendor scope. • Billing certified on random checking of thickness by our third-party inspector in our premises. Minimum sample considered -20Nos. Power Transformers: - • Estimated Surface Area of Two Power Transformers -20/25MVA – 1300Sqm. • Cleaning of transformer with cleaner of Stanvac Make of Z102 Cleanerie 1200 or equivalent to remove dirt and degreaser. Cleaner is in vendor scope. • After cleaning of surface, coat of primer of Stanvac Make of 1040 Stangard or equivalent of thickness of 90mic DFT. Primer is in vendor scope. • After application of primer, clearance will be given for paint of transformer based on random 20 nos samples checking of thickness by third party inspection in our premises. • After painting of primer, coat of paint of Stanvac Make of 2080 Electrohyb Shp or equivalent of thickness of 60mic DFT. • Billing certified on random checking of thickness by our third-party inspector in our premises. Minimum sample considered -20Nos. • Application to be done by spray gun. • TPI will be arranged by AMNS. • All consumables like wire brush, paint brushes etc are in vendor scope. • All the portable tools/ spray guns should have tested, and valid test certificates should be available for use in AMNS premises. • Submission of sampling reports along with invoice. • Only Isolated portion of the yard will be planned for painting. So other part of the yard will be in Charged condition. Engage of manpower after getting work permit from the engineer-in-charge, should comply to AMNS safety norms. • No of Visits Required -4. • Job activity to be carried out in day light from 8AM to 5PM. • Vendor manpower should have valid EPF, statutory requirements like medical insurance and submit along with the offer. • Valid Grade A Electrical Contractor License – 132kV should be submitted along with the offer. • Experience of having successfully completed similar works i.e. the work of painting of gantry structure <(>&<)> Equipments support structure <(>&<)> transformer painting in EHV Sub-Station. • Experience Certificate along with respective order copies to be attached. Line tower painting experience shall not be accepted. • Experience certificate of both completing work in live switchyard of equipment structure <(>&<)> transformer painting are to be attached
