60Material and labour for roof treatment on RCC roof slab completeas mentioned below, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (i) Cleaning the concrete surfaces of RCC roof slab as obtainedafter demolition/taking down of existing water proofing treatment thoroughly with wire brushes, washed and dried. (ii) Checking the roof slab by flooding test with water till total elimination of leakage/seepage/ dampnessall as specified in SSR Part-I (after ascertaining location of leakage/seepage/ dampness, carrying out treatment vide item No. 9 hereinafter of pressuregrouting shall be operated at the required locations). (iii)Brushing surface with neat cement slurry at the rate of 3.00kg of cement per Sqm. (vi) Cleaning the plastered roof surfaces and applying a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.3 kg/sqm on top of dry surface. (v) Laying APP modified polymeric membrane 3mm thick with non woven polyester core laid and bonded to the sub-strata and over-laps shall be sealed/fused by flame "torch", application method all as per manufacturer"s instructions.
