| 1 | Providing and fixing victorian type garden bench of approved design having both side arms made of moulded single piece cast iron having weight not less than 48kg with back height 720mm (+/- 5mm) and seating height 390 mm (approx).Both side arms of bench shall be connrected with 11 numbers M.S. Tubes rectangular type 65 x25 mm and 16 S W guage thick of length 1500mm for seating and back purpose with extra support of seating position of bench with 25x25mm M.S. flat.The bench shall have the provision of hold fast fixed with all the four legs embedded in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) of blocks including primer and painting with approved quality of enamel paint like Berger, Asian, Nerolac Paints etc.Minimum wight of bench shall be 90 kg per bench (The wight of all the steel and cast iron members as mentioned above).The work shall be executed as per entire satisfactiona nd directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-1:The rate is inclusive of the cost of CC Block and excavation.2:For wightless than 90kg recovery on pro-rata base shall be made.3 :No payment shall be made for weight more than 90 kg. |
| 2 | providing and placing of precast RCC benches (chair bench with back Rest) using Cement Concrete grade M-30 consisting of 2 No.L-shaped base support of thickness 100 mm having back height 1000mm, front height 450 mm and Base width 620 mm having 5 No. of RCC planks 1500x100x50 mm and one number plank of size 1500x200x50 mm in the approved colour and shade:The minimum wight of MS Reinforcement bar in the base support will be 3.4 Kg having 4 Nos. 8 mm dia M.S. Bard distributed along the section and periphery of the legs with sufficient Noof 4mm dia MS stirrups.Each base support will have 3 Nos. 12MMdia (2Nos. 40mmandone number 65 mm long) galvanised coupling nuts welded suitably to the main reinforcement at appropriate locations so as to receive bolts for fixing of seats of concrete planks on base support and 3 hole to received carriage bolts for fixing back rest planks.The minimum wight of MS reinforcement bar in the plank of 200 mm wide will be 4.4 kg and of 100mm wide 2.9 kg.All the RCC Planks will have 2 holes of 14 mm dia at appropriate location, so as to recieve 12 mm dia galvanized bolgts for foxing on the base support.One of gthe planks of size 1500x100x50 mm shall be engraved in the centre at back with letter SDMC or as directed by Engineer in Charge, 2 planks of size 1500x100x50mm and 1 plank of size 1500x200x50mm will be bolted to coupling nuts provided in the base support of both side with 2 number of 12mm dia and 65 mm long galvanized steel CSK bolts and one Eva Washer for each bolt to form a seat: 3 planks of size 1500x100x50mm will be boltd to couping nuts provided in both the base support to form back rest with 6 Nos. (Two Nos. in each plank) half threaded carriage bolts and nuts of size 165 m long and 8mm dia with Eva andsteel washers. The holes visible at the back side of the bench will be sealed with cement mortar afgter assembling.Sid edges of all the planks shall be painted with acrylic base paint of approved colour and shade and front portion of seating and back rest planks shall be polished to give glossy finish complete as per direction of Engineer- in- charge. |
