Note :-The quoted rate shall be deemed to have included necessary "trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water etc. as required complete complete including necessary all tools, tackles etc.
2Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25Cm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
3Removing excavated materials/ soils, not exceeding 50mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50mtrs, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
4Disconnecting and liftingthe existing non functional submersible pump set with dismantling existing bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump sets of any description and capacity and in any position alongwith existing column pipe of 80mm dia and submersible cable of any size from borewell of 150/200mm (approx 30mtr depth of pumpset from GL).
5Lowering down, commissioning back to tube well of submersible pump sets with lowering pipe, flange or any type and any size of any depth with pump set of any capacities by manual or mechanical means including making necessary electric connections with LT panel or starter and testing on full load after repairs, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: (i) Cost of tools and plants for taking out, minor spare parts such as nuts, bolt, washers, lubricants shall be deemed included in quoted rate.
6Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump and motor of any description and in any position, transporting to workshop for servicing, overhauling, cleaning,greasing,removing andreassembling the pump and motor with proper alignment of both pump and motor, fixing in position connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-charge for thesubmersible pump 10 HP, 3 phase, 415volts,50Hz AC Supply. Note : (I) The replacement of defective non functional parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of sch A. (ii) The rate of above item shallbe deemed to include transportation cost of pump/motor to workshop and return to work site as approved by Engr-in-charge for necessary repair, alignment and testing of pump and motor at workshop. (iii) Any damage to pump during trasportation from work shop to site of wrok due to any mean like jerks,shocks etc caused due to mis-handling shall be contractor"s responsibilityand no extra for re-repair to above specification shall be admissible from the Deptt. 29Carryout periodical maintenance of DG set capacity 40 KVAMake : "Greaves" by calibration of fuel injection pump including dismantling of radiator, radiator fan, water pump assembly, air cleaner, rocker cover housing rocker, oiling and greasing to movable spare parts such as bearing etc, replacement of old defective air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, insulation cover/ asbestos rope of exhaust pipe with new and manufacturer specified air filter, fuel filter and oil filter, insulation cover/ asbestos rope of exhaust pipe tightening the screws of hose and hose pipe set, strip opening of alternator cleaning of stator and field coils, rotor assembly, and apply one coat of varnishing using ‘H’ class varnish and complete service work as required at site, re-assembling the engine/ alternator in existing position, and testing on completion installed at Pump House Pallanwala completeall as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: New spare parts will be measured and paid separately as supply only under the respective items.

51Disconnecting electric connections from alternator, capacity 40 KVA, decoupling of engine and alternator, separaing from base plate, and transporting to workshop for repairs and return back to it"s original position after repairs including loading and unloading, by mechenical means, replacing defective spare parts with new spare parts, including any type of machine work required at site/ workshop to compete the repair including complete servicing all as required at site, re-assembling in existing position complete and testing on completion all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge Note: (a) Cost of cleaning, welding, all spare parts as required, and special tools and plants required for dismantling of alternator will deemed to be included in quoted rates.

87Cleaning of overhead water tank, capacity 50,000 Gallons, height/ staging 18.85mtrs, by scraping with mild steel wire brush and removing all the silt, dirt, algae, sludge etc from the surfaces of walls and floor including removal the same to a distance not less than 50mtrs, washing the cleaned surface with bleaching powder solution thoroughly and applying two coats of lime wash on internal surfaces of reservoir, also applying two coats of cement paint of external surfaces of tank with staging after preparation of surfaces, and writing the particulars such as capacity of tank, date/ due date of tank cleaning in bold letters, on table size not less than 60cmx40cm, painted with black and white synthetic enamel paint on external surface, including painting with one coat black synthetic enamel paint to external surfaces of flow pipes with valves any type as connected with overhead water tank and making flow signs with white synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note :- Necessaryscaffolding and staging work, ladders etc alongwith Saftey Harness and other tools and plants required to complete the entire job shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of the item and nothing extra shall be paid extra on this account.
88Cleaning of UG Sump, 50000 Gln capacity by disconnecting all electric connections from LT panel, starter, removing pipe line from discharge side, taking out submersible/ centrifugal pump with motor along with column pipe by mechanical or manual method, scraping all mud, algae, silt, sludge and other dirts by mild steel wire brush floor including removal the same to a distance not less than 50mtrs and re-assembling/ lowering down submersible/ centrifugal pump with motor, column pipe and making all electric and water supply connection to the existing lines/ system, also applying two coats of cement paint of external surfaces of tank with staging after preparation of surfaces, including writing the particulars such as capacity of tank, date/ due date of tank cleaning in existing letter sizes, on table size not less than 60cmx40cm, painted with black and white synthetic enamel paint on external surface, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. 102Supply and distributeCalcium hypochlorite 65%-70% Chlorine content calcium based granular disinfectant for water treatement to Pump House at AKHNOOR and outer station. (Product shall be as per Generic BIS specification as decided by Procurement Agency/ Accepting Officer.) NOTES:- (i) Approval of chemical (Calcium hypochlorite) shall be given after verification of test certificates of chemical of various manufactures and other factors like chemical and safety and health hazard aspects of usage of chlorination (ii) The brand/make of the chlorination of chemical must be stated before procurement and certified by govt laboratory that it is free from the technical strength stahbility health safety and operation point of view this product is used for drinking water applications for consumption by humans and the brand /make of calcium hypochlorite is suitable for drinking water chlorination and its sample has been tested by Govt Laboratory. (iii) The sample bucket/drum shall be produced by contractor for approval of Accepting Officer and the chemical contained in Bucket/Drum shall be got tested independenly by the Contrcator before Bulk supply from IIT College/NIT College/Govt Engneering college/ or any other NABL lab valid for such tests of water disinfactant, After verification of indepedent tests so carried out shall be compared at par of required BIS generic specification. (iv) The cost of sapmle bucket/drum for testing purpose and transporation to Lab as cited lab shall be borne by the Contractor and nothing shall be admissible on this account.
103Disconnecting to all electric connections from LT panel and motor for repair of motor starter of 05-10 HP, star-delta starter, automatic unmanned type suitable for centrifugal/ submersible pumps, transportation to workshop and re-installation the same at site after necessary repair/ replacement of old defective/ damaged spare parts such as contactors, relays, of existing makes and specifications, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: (i) Cost of new spare parts will be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Cost of tools and plants, minor spare parts such as copper wire, lubricants and transportation to workshop shall be deemed included in quoted rate.

(iii)Collection of water reports and submitted to office after testing all as directed by Engr-in-Charge and Result sheet of above tests shall be submitted in Duplicate to the entire satsifaction of GE during submission of work done..
113SPECIAL NOTE FOR DG SETS AND VOLTAGE STABLIZER"S REPAIRS/PUMPS: The contractor will submit a copy of Memorandum of under standing from OEMs ( or authorized dealers) to the Engr-in-Charge for the respective E/M installations before start of repair work.
