4Dismantling Brick work in cement mortar at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
5Dismantling of RCC works at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, including cutting and stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
6Chipping, grinding and removing all the porous / loose parts, cracked, unsound/ damaged concrete upto the required sound concrete surface, exposing the rods and cleaning any foreign material including removing the rust and loose scales from the exposed reinforcement with wire and coir brushes and cleaning the entire surface by blowing compressed air and / or water jet. etc. complete.in the column, beam & slab etc., with carefully without disturbing the intact concrete and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc . complete. 12Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 "SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make" and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel.The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.For further details please see point 7 of Section VIII, General Information for Guidance of Tenderers.
13Providing, fabricating and fixing of edge angles, embedded plates, J-type bolts, holding rods, or other structural requirements using 304 Stainless Steel sections plates, angles, squares, bars, rods & pipes in foundation, pedestals beams, slab & columns and other structural membersof approved size and make and quality by cutting to required size, welding and fixing in position at all level and lift including all accessories as per drawing and asdirected by Engineer-in-charge.
14Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layerson prepared surface and compacting with vibratoryroller/earth rammer to achieve the desired density, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge- for Grading-II material as per MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge works (latest)
15Providing and placingin situ controlled cement concrete ofgrade &total minimum cementitious content as specified(cement + fly ash) for kg/Cu.m, using OPC conforming to IS 269-2015 or latest edition and with required fly ash conforming to IS 3812 Part -I / ASTM C-618 Class F.Fly ash should be blended at site such that fly ash content should not exceed 20 % by weight of total cementitious content using 20mm nominal size graded hard stone aggregate obtained from approved quarrymechanical mixing/Ready mix supply plant mixing, transporting/transporting by Transit Mixers, pumping using Concrete pumps/ placing with crane buckets etc., at all levels, lifts & allstructural elements including centering and shuttering, dewatering wherever necessary, including compacting, finishing top surface to level, curing (For a period of at least 10 days),etc. complete as directed by the Engineer at levelsfor the items mentionedbelow. Coarse aggregate used should be hard granite machine crushed (with VSI technology only) graded stone aggregates with maximum size of aggregate not exceeding 20 mm size. Fine aggregate used shall be either natural river sand or crushed stone sand (with VSItechnology only and shall be washed in water to remove finer particles, the micro fines particles of size less than 75 micron should be less than 7%) (Zone I / II) conforming to IS 383 – 2016 or latest edition. Note:-1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture.Chemical admixture conforming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility. 2. Rate to include all materials, labour, tools /tackles, plant and equipment, supervision, etc. complete. Note:-1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture.Chemical admixture conforming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility. 2. 18M30 grade with total minimum cementitious content (cement + fly ash content not exceed 20 % by weight of total cementitious content) 380kg/cumof concrete and minimum cement content of 304Kg/cumof concrete as mentioned above for the at all levels.
19M45 grade with total minimum cementitious content (cement + fly ash content not exceed 20 % by weight of total cementitious content 450kg/cum concrete and minimum cement content of 360Kg/cumof concreteas mentioned above for the works at all levels.
20Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixingcoil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces.Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.
21Providing and laying Micro Concrete M60 grade for Jacketing of columns / strengthening of Columns and repairstoretrofitting ofRCC members / damaged RCC members using nonshrinkfreeflow required thickness of ‘"Cera Micro concrete or Fosroc RenderocRGor approved equivalent’productsas per themanufacturer"s specifications,applyingepoxyresinbondingagentoverthe old concretesurfacetoreceivethenewconcreting usingCERABOND-EPmanufacturedbyCERA CHEMChemicalLtd.,or FOSROC or approved equivalent between old and new concrete surface, Micro concrete mixed withURP plastering of concrete members. TheMicro concreteto be mechanicallymixedmaintainingpower:waterratio strictly in accordance with manufacturers specification and as directed by Engineer In Charge.
22Strengthening of RCC members with Carbon Fibre (CF) system:Providing and applying single layer 400/300 gsm Carbon Fibre (CF) wrapping of"CERA CHEMCera Cfr Membrane or Fosroc NITOWRAP CWS 450or MasterBrace FIB 230/400 or approved equivalent"for the severelydeteriorated RC members/portions after comprehensiverepairsuch,suchascolumns,beams and stair case soffits. The application includes necessarysurfacepreparation,suchasgrindingand application of compatible putty if required to remove anyirregularitiesonthesurface,thenapplicationof primer(twopartepoxideresinsystemwith1:1mix proportion) at 4-6 sqm/kg mix and leave it for drying (preferably 4 to 6 hours or overnight).Then one coat of saturant on the surface, pasting the dry CF cloth against the saturant.After this there will bestampingbybrushesandrollingtosaturatethe clothandfollowedbyapplicationofsecondcoatof saturant and again repeated rolling to saturate the cloth etc., complete.The saturant shall be two part epoxide resin system with 1:1 mix proportion and coverage of 1.5-2.0sq.m/kg. Mixtheapplicationofprimerand saturant will be done by brush, etc. complete all as per manufacture specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23Providing and applying the following coatings over the external and internal surfaces likeconcrete surfaces, plastered wall surfaces at all locations and at all elevations using "M/s Sika / CERA or equivalent brand of similar coats(a) Primer coat: one coat of Primer of "Sikagard-552 IN Primer W" (b) Intermediate coat:Two coats of " Sikagard-545 W Elastofill" Acrylic crack-bridging intermediate protective coating(c)Top coat: 2-coats of"Sikagard-550 W IN - Anti-carbonation and crack bridging protective coating including preparing the surface, removing existing emulsion or any coat, includingcost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles, equipment’setc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per the specifications. Note: Scaffolding will be paid under relevant item.
24Providing repair work to the concrete surfaces at all locations and at all elevations including preparing the surface, providing and applying 25mm thick polymer modified" mortar by manually as specified by Engineer-in-charge over a coat of polymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC / NITO BOND EP / SIKA or equivalent and cost of all materials, labour, curing for 10-days, tools, tackles, equipment’s, fuel & transport etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per the specifications. a) Surface preparation: Chipping and removing the existing plastered wall surfaces to the required depth and surface preparation such as removing the loose materials, dust and other laitance with wire brush and coir brush, etc. complete. b) Bonding coat on surface: Providing and applying a coat ofpolymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC /NITO BOND EP / SIKA or equivalentto the cleaned and prepared concrete surface prior to application of Polymer modified mortar. c) Polymer modified mortar: Applying polymer modified mortar 1:2:2 (1 cement: 2 sand: 2 stone Aggregate of nominal size 6mm) admixed with CERA LATEX SBR / FOSROC/ NITO BOND SBR / SIKA additive or equivalent @ 3 kg per bag of cement for a thickness of 25mm in by mechanically or manually and neatly finished as instructedover the prepared surface / over the fiber glass mesh fixed surface. Note: 1) Scaffolding will be paid in separately in the relevant item. 2) The contractor shall arrange the suitable safety arrangements for executing the work at his own cost as directed by the Engineer in charge.

31Providing and applying painting Two coats at all levels with Acrylic emulsion paint(Asian or Equivalent approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of suitable primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
32Providing and applying a protective painting with Anti-Carbonation coating to the external/ internal wall surfaces (Rough cast / Plain surfaces) at all locations and at all elevations including preparing the surface, removing existing emulsion or any coat, providing and applying a single component acrylic polymer based protective coating CERA INFRAGUARD – WA / FOSROC DEKGUARD / SIKAGARD 550W Elastocolor or equivalent of a minimum of 2 coats over a primer coat with CERA INFRAGUARD – WA PRIMER / FOSROC DEKGUARD / SIKAGARD 552W Primer or equivalent and cost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles, equipment’s, fuel & transport etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per the specifications. The total dry film thickness of both coats excluding primary coat should be minimum of 200 microns.Note: Scaffolding will be paid under relevant item
33Providing Acid / Alkali resistant flooring and dadooing and wall cladding using 12mm thick Acid / Alkali resistant tiles of pelican or approvedequivalent make as per IS:4457including preparation of surface applying one coat of primer, application of 10mm thick mastic membrane, laying of tiles in potassium silicate based mortar of 2mm thick and pointing the joints with to a depth of 10 to 12mm with CNSL mortar etc., cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area complete all as permanufacturer’s specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (1) The sample tile shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement.The job shall be got executed by specialists in this line. (2) The tile cladding work to be done at existing plastered wall surface and hence removing of existing painting from wall, and hacking prior to fix tiles are included in this scope of item. (3) Scaffolding will be paid separately under relevant item.
34Providing and fixing PVC corner beading / nosing of approved quality and colour at the corners and edges of the ceramic tiles dadooing including finishing and embedding in the wall etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
35Providing water proofing treatment to the RCC cast insituterrace and gutters using ‘CERA WP SHIELD P4180’ 4mm thick and ‘CERA WP SHIELD SLATED’ 4mm thick as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a) The existing tarfelt, bituminous primer, WP Tiles and foam concrete, waterproofing membranes & cement based water proofing treatment, and all types of water proofing treatment shall be removed completely by cutting and peeling off from the surface and disposing the same 50m beyond the building area. b)" V" grooves shall be cut along the surface crack and the same shall be filled with cementitious non shrink grout CERA GROUT 40 of CERA / FOSROC / SIKA or equivalent after applying a lavish coat of polymer based bonding agent CERA LATEX SBR of CERA / FOSROC / SIKA. c) "V" grooves shall be cut along the construction joints on wall - slab joints and filled with cement sand mortar admixed with styrene butadian rubber based additive CERA LATEX SBR from CERA / FOSROC / SIKA or equivalent . d) The area shall be tested for any leakages by ponding of water (water holding test) before and after application of treatment in panels. (panels shall be made by least ratio of cement mortar and the same shall be thoroughly cleaned before receiving further treatment). e) When the entire surface is water-tight, dry and moisture free, one coat of bituminous primer shall be applied over surface @ 0.3 kg/sqm and 1st layer of 5 - layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane WP SHIELD P4180 from CERA / FOSROC / SIKA shall be laid with 200mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer"s recommendation. f) The second layer of 5 - layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane WP SHIELD - SLATED from CERA / FOSROC / SIKA shall be laid with 150mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer"s recommendation shall be laid in perpendicular direction to the first layer. Note: i) The treatment should be done by an agency specialised in the job having sufficient knowledge of water proofing treatment. Suggested vendors : (1) M/s. Cera-Chem Pvt. Ltd., Chemicals (2) M/s. 36Providing and fixing ofwater proofing treatment using APP membrane in 2 layers using ‘CERA WP SHIELD P4180’ 4mm thick and ‘CERA WP SHIELD SLATED’ 4mm thick at highbay area, roof slab top, expansion joint covering, gutter and over the screed concrete area ect., as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: I) Cleaning of exisiting surface surface is clean, dry and moisture free, andapplication of one coat of bituminous primer over surface @ 0.3kg/sq.m. and 1st layer of 5-layered 4mm thick polymer reinforced APP membrane "CERA WP SHIELD P4180" shall be laid with 100mm overlapping by torching on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer"s recommendation. (panels shall be made by least ratio of cement mortar and the same shall be thoroughly cleaned before receiving further treatment).2)This item shall includes placing the pumpable concrete by boom placer, concrete pump, supply of RMC concrete in Tranist mixer as directed by Engineer-in-charge if bulk quantity is required according site condition. 3)Concrete shall be placed in layers such a way that fiber glass mesh will be fixed in between layers and Fixing of fiber glass mesh shall be paid under separate item.

54Protective Coating over the external surface of RCC structures below ground level : Providing and applying coal tar epoxy based protective coating "Master Protect 1812 of BASF or Fosroc Nitocot ET 550 or approed equivalent" applied in two coats for a total DFT of 300 microns with suitable brush or a roller brush (The Dry Film Thickness will be measured for a minimum thickness of 300 micron for payments). The mixed material shall have a density of 1.65Kg/Lit, adhesive bond strength of 1.50 Mpa as per ASTM D4541, abrasion resistance of 17mg/1000 cycles when tested as per ASTM D4060, CS 17 wheel and slant shear bond strength of > 10 Mpa as per ASTM C882.
