| 270 | Supply & Installation of 20\"NB x 6.4mm or above Wall thk. Casing pipe for Line Pipe6\" NB (6.4 mm thk API 5L Gr X52) & 4\" NB, 6.4 mm thk API 5L Gr. X52 pipe by Jacking Boring . Including Insertion of 6\" dia and 4\" dia (for 125 mm dia MDPE Connectivity) Carrier pipeline in20\" dia casing pipe and connectivity with existing pipeline at both end of National Highways/State Highways/ Railway as per SCC and technical specifications-Supply of Casing Pipe Supply of following casing pipe including handling, loading, transportation & unloading etc. to contractor\"s own stock yard / worksite(s).-After Completion of insertion of carrier pipe with Connectivity at both end including all works as per the scope of work -Post Hydro testing & Commissioning , Submission of as-built drawing, Submission of Documents- The rates shall include bore holes for soil investigation, collection of disturbed samples from bore holes and visual engineering classification of soil at crossing location. Minimum 2 nos of bore holes ( 01 no each at both end of crossing) are required on each crossing and submission of detailed report to Company.Boreholes shall be made at locations as direct by Engineer in-charge at crossing location to find out the presence of rock strata.Boring shall be carried out in accordance with the provision of IS:1892. Minimum diameter of boring shall be 150 mm.- Rate Should include supply & installation of 250mm Casing pipe for 4\" Steel Pipeline for MDPE (if required by Authority & as per the instructions of EIC) |
| 271 | Note: (i) Crossing width may vary as per site condition. Tenderer are advised to visit site for actual assessment of extent of crossing. Actual length of Boring shall be as per design calculations so that pipe is not under stress as permitted by codes/ specifications. However final length of string & cover from top of pipe shall be decided by concerned Authority/ Engineer-in-charge.(ii) Payment for the length of final tied-in carrier pipeline string with mainlinemade for crossing laid by Boring method are inclusive in the above item rate and no separate payment shall be made under other item mentioned elsewhere. |

Installation of vent and drain assembly, fixing of end seals, backfilling and restoration as original of the facilities crossed and performing all other works including pigging, cleaning, final hydrotesting etc. alongwith mainline works (as mentioned in item no. 1.0above) and as per specification, approved procedure, drawing etc. and instruction of Engineer-in-charge and provision of contract document, getting NOC from all concerned Authority of the facilities crossed (Any type of soil) |
