1All Furniture work should be in Plywood confirming to IS: 710-2010, BWP MARINE GRADE, Premium quality from suggested brands for plywood/WPC/Laminates/1st Class TW Veneer: Greenply, Century, Kitply, Austin plywood, Everest ply, Indian Plywood Mfg. Ltd. (Anchor) or equivalent. All hardware items like drawer channels, handles, SS hinges, SS Beading etc shall be from Godrej, Olive, Hitachi, Kich, Hilti or as Approved by Architect. Drawer locks shall be from Godrej, Dorset, Hilti, Hardwyn. SS Handles, SS Legs shall be from approved / suggested brands. Adhesive shall be from Fevicol, Jivanjor, Vamicol, Dunlop, Araldite of marine quality. Appropriate other adhesives for WPC & Ply bonding, TW beading with ply wood shall be adopted. All work to complete as per design and instructions by Architect / Engineer-In Charge. All visible surfaces shall be finished with 1.0 mm thick laminates or 4 mm thick TW Veneers wherever specified as per the item description and inside surfaces shall be using 1.0 mm or 0.80 mm thick (wherever specified) laminates of approved texture, shade & finish. Shop drawings for each item shall be submitted by the Contractor for approval of the Architect prior to execution. Shop drawings shall be prepared based on the tentative drawings/line diagrams and instructions given by Architect etc.. MTC shall be submitted for all materials like plywood, veneer, aluminium, laminates & WPC sheets etc. All hardware items shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer-in-charge before using the same.
2Contractor shall submit relevant product catalogues and data sheets. The supplier have to provide architectural services towards designing/drawing/layout for modular workstations free of cost Final colour scheme and upholstery of fabric colour will be approved by BARC at the time of procurement. Contractor to furnish various colour schemes available with them. The laminates / veneers having single piece areas larger than 8 S.ft shall preferably be machine pressed
3Providing "M1 Type Desk" having main desk of size: 2400*1050*750 mm including a side desk of size: 1500*550*750 mm as per the design on site in 19 mm thk. BWP/AA Grade Marine plywood (as per IS 710-2010) frame work of suggested brands with 4 mm thk 1st Class Teak Wood veneer on table top & all exposed areas & 1.0 mm thick laminate for inner surfaces of approved texture, shade and finish and edges to be finished in matching 6 mm thick 1st Class TW beading and ploished with suitable wood polish (melamine polish); alongwith supply & providing 12 mm thk. toughned glass with rounded edges & required holes/openings on both table tops. Suitable steel legs / SS studs and SS Beading as approved shall be provided for the desk. Double ply shall be used for edging to the tables to make it 38 mm thickness alround. 1 no. Shelf for CPU to be provided below the side desk. All the inner surfaces shall be finshed with 1.0 mm thick white laminate. 1no. Computer key board tray as per architects design using 19 mm thk BWP Marine ply base fixed with telescopic/double(Suggested make) sliders. 2 Nos. of pedestals of size: 450*450*650 mm having 3 nos of drawers shall be provided with 1.0 mm. thk. matching laminate; under the side desk. Height of drawers shall be as per the Architects drawing. Drawer shall consist of 19/12mm thk. BWP Marine Ply sides, back and 12 mm thk. BWP Ply base. Facia of drawers shall be of 19 mm thk. BWP Ply finished in 1.0 mm. Thk. Laminate (matching with TW Veneer shade) and with a wooden moulding on top/bottom edge for handle. Each drawer shall slide on a pair of telescopic drawer sliders(Suggested make). The inside portion of draws to be finished with white laminate. Wire Management: Multi-functional wire box (Metal access flap) on desk top with power, VGA, network and phone sockets, micro-fiber leather writing pad shall be provided. Vertical Wire entry cover is considered to run through floor to raceway. Rate shall be inclusive of all necessary approved fittings like locks(Suggested make) for drawers, FGV Damping hinges,and any miscellaneous hardware items.
4Back storage including display unit: A storage unit with display of 2400*500*1800 mm shall be provided behind the desk as per the drawing. It shall consist of 06 nos of storage cabinets with 03 compartments in each storage having one door with suitable SS Handles. The entire unit shall be made of 19 mm thick BWP/AA Grade marine plywood (12 mm ply for wall panelling) with finishing layer of 4 mm thick 1St Class TW Veneer, finished with wood polish for exposed areas as per the drawing. The internal portions of the storage unit shall be finished using 1.0 mm thick suitable colour laminates. All the edges to be finished using 6 mm thick 1st class TW beading. The display unit including storage units wall panelling shall be backed with 12 mm thick BWP ply finished with TW Veneer of 4 mm thickness. The 12 mm thick plywood sheet used for wall panelling of display unit shall be fixed to anodised aluminium (15 microns) frame work of 50.80 *25.40 *0.95 mm size at 600 mm grid (wherever the plywood is coming in contact with wall).
5Providing "M2 Type Desk" having main desk of size: 2100*750*750 mm including a side desk of size: 1200*550*750 mm as per the design on site in 19 mm thk. BWP/AA Grade Marine plywood (as per IS 710-2010) frame work of suggested brands with 1 mm thk laminate (Sun mica) on table top & 0.8 mm laminate for inner surfaces of approved shade and finish and edges to be finished in matching 6 mm thick 1st Class TW Beading. Supply and providing 12 mm thk. toughned glass with rounded edges & required holes/openings on both table tops is also included. The desk shall be fixed with suitable SS steel legs or bushes of approved/suggested manufacturer. Double ply shall be used for edging to the table to make it 38 mm thickness alround. 1 no. Shelf for CPU to be provided below the side desk. All the inner surfaces shall be finshed with 0.8 mm thick white laminate. 1no. BWP/AA Grade Marine plywood (as per IS 710-2010) frame work of suggested brands with 1 mm thk laminate (Sun mica) on table top & 0.8 mm laminate for inner surfaces of approved texture, shade and finish and edges to be finished in matching 6 mm thick 1st class Teak Wood beeding, including 8 mm thk. toughned glass with rounded edges & required holes on both table tops. The desk shall be fixed with suitable size SS studs/bushes. 1 no. Shelf for CPU to be provided below the side desk. All the inner surfaces shall be finshed with 0.8 mm thick white laminate. 1no. 10Providing "M5 Type - L Shaped Workstation" of size: 1500/1500 W x 600 D x 750*1200 H as per the design on site in 19 mm thk. BWP/AA Grade Marine plywood (as per IS 710-2010) work of suggested brands with 1 mm thk laminate (Sun mica) on table top & 0.8 mm laminate for inner surfaces of approved texture, shade and finish and edges to be finished in matching 6 mm thick TW Beading. Item also includes supply & providing 8 mm thk. toughned glass with rounded edges & required holes on both table tops. The workstation shall be fixed with suitable SS Legs/bushes as approved. Partitions: Supplying and erecting minimum 60 mm thick frame & tile based low height partition of 1200 mm height partition of modular grid system consisting of CRCA Steel framework with frame and tile system.CRCA steel shall be IS: 513 . PARTITION FRAME SPECIFICATION: The horizontal and vertical section for the 60 mm thick framework to be constructed out of CRCA steel sections of minimum 1.2 mm thickness for horizontal members and 1.5 mm thickness for verticals member. The configuration of the partition frame shall be as per manufacturer’s specification. The metal components should be finished with powder coating of 40 - 60 microns in desired colour. The skeleton should include top runners, bottom skirting etc. The exposed ends of the frames are to be finished with 1.2 mm thick aluminum extrusion alloy epoxy powder coated end covers and posts at different junctions. etc. All the metal components such as steel and aluminum are to be pre-treated in 7 tank pre-treatment plant prior to powder coating.
11The framework should have snap fitted skirting of minimum of 85-100 mm height made up of 0.8 mm thick CRCA steel. The junctions are neatly rounded off by means of metal caps. Tiles made up of 0.8 mm thick CRCA steel duly powder coated finish. The colour of the powder coated tiles shall be in plain colour. Height adjuster: Heavy-duty glide screws of suitable design with good material shall be provided at the base of the frame at suitable intervals for adjusting the level of the workstation up to +/-10mm to take care of variations in the floor level. All the above tiles should be fitted with snap on with clips. TILES IN LOW HEIGHT PARTITIONS: Steel Powder Coated Tiles : shall be made up of 0.8 mm thick CRCA sheet powder coated with 50 microns thickness Soft Pinup Tiles on single side of partition made of minimum 6 mm thick as per manufacturer’s specifications. Fabric shall be free from weaving defects . The manufacturing of the above shall be as per manufacturer’s specifications at least one in each workstation. Main Partition : Fabric + White Marker Above, Plywood with laminates below Table Top. Raceway : Skirting & Below Table Top. Return Partition : Fabric Above, Plywood with laminates below Table Top. Raceway : Skirting level. 1 no. Shelf for CPU to be provided below the side desk. All the inner surfaces shall be finshed with 0.8 mm thick white laminate.
12Computer key board tray as per architects design using 19 mm thk BWP Marine ply base and 25 x 50mm round edged moulding on the front fixed with telescopic/double(Suggested make) sliders. 1 No. of pedestal of size: 450*450*650 mm having 3 nos of drawers shall be provided with 1.0 mm. thk. matching laminate under the side desk. Height of drawers shall be as per the Architects drawing. Drawer shall consist of 19/12mm thk. BWP Marine Ply sides, back and 12 mm thk. BWP Ply base. Facia of drawers shall be of 19 mm thk. BWP Ply finished in 1.0 mm. Thk. Laminate and with a wooden moulding on top/bottom edge for handle. Each drawer shall slide on a pair of telescopic drawer sliders(Suggested make). The inside portion of draws to be finished with white laminate.
13The storage unit shall also have suitable sliding arrangement, handle locking facility, etc. Wire management: Entry of wires into the work station partitions shall be possible from the floor. Partition shall have provision of running electrical, data and telephone. The transmission of cables shall be at special beams fixed to the frames, which are fitted with switch board plate on which the high quality switches/sockets shall be fitted. Cables etc. horizontally and vertically along the skirting with provision of clipping arrangement inside the skirting & frame. Provision of electrical and data slots on tiles above and below the work top or on skirting shall be provided by the manufacturer according to the approved sample of electrical and data switch plates provided by engineer in charge.

15Providing "M6 Type - Linear Workstation" of size: 1500 x 600 D x 750/1200 H as per the design on site in 19 mm thk. BWP/AA Grade Marine plywood (as per IS 710-2010) frame work of suggested brands with 1 mm thk laminate (Sun mica) on table top & 0.8 mm laminate for inner surfaces of approved texture, shade and finish and edges to be finished in matching 6 mm thick 1st class TW beading. including 8 mm thk. toughned glass with rounded edges & required holes on both table tops resting on suitable size SS studs. Specification for the partitions shall be adopted from the above item no.: 6 1 no. Shelf for CPU to be provided below the side desk. Specification for the Partition walls for this workstation shall be adopted from item no: 06, above. 1 no. Shelf for CPU to be provided below the side desk. All the inner surfaces shall be finshed with 0.8 mm thick white laminate. 1no. Computer key board tray as per architects design using 19 mm thk BWP Marine ply base and 25 x 50mm round edged moulding on the front fixed with telescopic/double(Suggested make) sliders. 1 No. of pedestal of size: 450*450*650 mm having 3 nos of drawers shall be provided with 1.0 mm. thk. matching laminate under the side desk. The Seat and Back Cushion of the chairs should be pressed on 12 mm hot press moulded ply. The seat cushion of the chair should be made up of 50 mm thick High Density of 45±2 Kg/m3 polyurethane mould and back cushion should be made up of 38 mm thick High Density 33±2 Kg/m3. The polyurethane foam shall be as per manufacturer’s specification. The hardness of foam shall be 20 kg on hampden machine and 25% compression and it should be covered with leatherette as per manufacturer’s shade card. The Gas lift mechanism should be tested as per BIFMA X 05.01.2002 Standards. The tilting mechanism should be synchro-tilt mechanism as per international ergonomics standards for any position locking. The pedestal should be five legged injection moulded in black 30% glass –filled nylon and fitted with 5 nos twin wheel castors. Overall Height of chair should be minimum 1210 mm ( Inclusive of maximum adjustment of gas lift mechanism ) All material should be used of relevant ISI specification.

The gable ends shall be constructed out of 19 mm thick BWP Grade plywood finish as per approved shade. Modesty panel shall be made up of 19 mm thick Plywood sheets of BWP Grade. The provision of Wire carrier shall be as per manufacturer specifications. Table shall be prepared on site using all approved materials by BARC. Modesty panel shall be made up of 19 mm thick Plywood sheets of BWP Grade. The provision of Wire carrier shall be as per manufacturer specifications. 34CENTER TABLES (100 X 650x450 mm L*B*H). Providing and making center tables of above mentioned size as per drg. Table top shall consist of 10 mm. Thk. toughned glass with rounded edges with approved quality etching. The base shall be made up of CP Teak wood frame /19 mm thk. marine Ply (IS: 710-2010, BWP) as directed by the Architect. All edges shall be closed with 6 mm thick teak wood beadings. The UV cured stainless steel disc holding the top and under structure to be provided. All exposed faces finished with 4 mm thick teak wood veneer and with natural polish and inner faces shall be with 0.8 mm Thk laminate for ply. The rate includes cost of all materials, labour charges, transportation, electricity, all taxes etc complete.
35Providing and making corner table of size: 20"*20"*24" (L*B*H) using 19 mm thick plywood confirming to IS 710-2010, BWP Marine grade. The table should have 3 compartments for keeping items for the purpose. The ply surface shall be finished with 4 mm thick 1st class teak wood veneer and polished with melamine polish complete. The bottom surfaces of the table shall be pasted with 1.00 mm thick laminates of suggested brands and shade using marine grade adhesive. TW Beading of 6 mm thickness/veneer shall be used for all exposed edges. The corner table shall be fixed with suitable SS studs/bushes for the 4 legs. All the exposed veneered/beading surfaces shall be polished using melamine polish. The rate includes cost of all materials, labour charges, transportation, electricity, all taxes etc complete.
36Providing and fixing 4 mm thick 1st class teak wood veneered wall panelling over a base made from aluminium frame & plywood sheets and finished with melamine polish according to the design, colour, shades as per the following specifications: i) Aluminium frame work: Providing and fixing anodized aluminium (15 microns) frame work to masonry walls/wooden surfaces using aluminium hollow section of 50.80*25.40 mm size and thickness of 0.95 mm to form a base frame fixed to walls to receive WPC/Plywood sheet over it to the required levels and lines. The plywood sheets to be fixed to the base frame using C.P. Brass/Stainless steel screws to the line and levels. Providing and fixing decorative Teak Wood veneer of 4 mm thickness, Suggested make, design & colour over the plywood base using suitable adhesive from Fevicol (Marine grade). SS Beading, as per approved pattern shall be fixed for aesthetics. Suitable TW beading/lipping shall be provided for decoration as per the desgin and to seal exposed edges of the panelling. iii) Melamine polishing: Providing Melamine polishing on wood work as per manufacturers instructions, matt or glossy finish as specified including preparation of the surfaces, complete, as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
