5Earthwork excavation over areas in all soils except soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means and disposing off & levelling the soil within a distance of 50 metre. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
6Lead charges, by mechanical transport to anywhere in RRCAT CAMPUS, including loading, unloading, stacking/levelling etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
7For Soil
8Note: The rates in respect of item are applicable for the net quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soils and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack/truck measurements.
9Taking out existing cement concrete interlocking paver blocks including bedding sand from footpath etc. including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable materials to the dumping ground (Payment shall be made separately under relevant item) and stacking of serviceable materials within 50m lead complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
10Dismantling the Mosaic/white glazed/Ceramic/Vitrified tiles /Kotah stone etc. in flooring/dado/skirting etc. including dismantling of bedding mortar, stacking of materials and disposing of debris within 50 metres lead etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
11Demolishing plain cement concrete works by chiselling at all levels including scaffolding, disposal of materials within 50 metres lead etc.All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
12Demolishing Reinforced cement concrete works by chiselling at all levels including scaffolding, cutting of reinforcement bars by gas cutting, straightening & stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
13Demolishing brick work in cement mortar at all levels including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
14Labour Charges only for laying old cement cocrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level,curvature, colour and pattern over 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1) CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the department free of cost. The location of paver block kept in RRCAT shall be shown to contractor, contractor has to make arrangement for transportation to the site at their own cost. 2) The cost of sand shall be paid separately under relavant item.
15Supplying and filling in plinth with screened selected sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating, finishing to level and dressing etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
16Forming embankment with selected approved soil obtained from borrow pits (including cost of excavation & transportation within RRCAT campus by mechanical transport), in layers not exceeding 200mm thick including breaking clods, watering, consolidation, dressing the sides & top to the required profile & grade complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
17Providing & laying in position Cement concrete 1:3:6 using graded stone aggregate 40 mm max. size including consolidating, finishing, curing etc. complete excluding formwork as per specifications. All complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
18Providing & laying in position Design Mix REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE of M-25 grade at all levels using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including machine mixing, transporting, weigh batching, mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing and cost of labour, machinary, and materials etc. complete as per specifications but excluding shuttering, formwork and steel reinforcement.(Minimum Cement content shall not be less than 387kg/cum of concrete.)

24Providing and fixing reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete using TMT bars of preferred make having minimum yield strength of Fe 500 or higher grade as per IS:1786 at all levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire etc. All complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
25Note :1 - The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor at terms & conditions specified.TMT bars manufactured in the preferred brand shall only be permitted subject to furnishing of challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation,yield strength,Bend rebend test etc.
262 - Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.One sample comprising of three specimens shall be collected for every 25MT of bars brought at site .The representive of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each stage right from sampling of testing . All charges ,transport, taxes etc shall be borne by the contractor.
273 - The contractor shall be solely respossible all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc at their own cost.
284 - 1.60mm dia . Soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment .
295 - Other conditions as stipulated in general condition, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim whatsoever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained .
30Cement plastering to external surfaces of walls at all heights, 20mm thick, with cement mortar 1:4 over brick walls or concrete surfaces, including finishing rough (wooden float finish) hacking the concrete surfaces, double scaffolding wherever necessary, curing etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
31Painting the exterior walls and roof with two coats of preferred make and approved shade including preparing the surface by removing loose dust and dirt with stiff brush and washing the surface with clean water, treating the surface with antifungal chemical wherever required, filling holes with putty, scaffolding and cleaning, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. All complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
32Design, supply and installing, Monsoon protected flame retardenthigh quality PVC coated membrane of 750 gsm (of Prefered make, Pre constraint 702 S2) with non weldable PVDF coating on top & weldable PVDF at bottom, with specified Warp and Weft strength & Tear resistance fabric to the existing steel frame work, including providing and fixing / using boundary cables – steel wire ropefor proper shape and stiffning. The scope of work alsoincludes making arrangement for drainage of rain water and all fittings ,accessories etc. complete as per drawing specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
33Note :1 - Rate to include the cost of material, labour, tools, plants, transportation, wastage etc. to cornplete the work in all respect as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.
342 - The bidders are strongly encouraged to visit site at RRCAT to understand building design and their layout and associated technical requirements.
353 - The tenderer have to furnisha three years onsite comprehensive warranty of the fabric used.
364 - Mode of Measurements- Plan area cover by fabric in haozontal plan on groundshall be measured for payment.
37Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixingin position structural steelworks of any shape usingRHS, SHS & circular hollow sections of Grade Yst 280 or higher as per relevent IS code at all levels including welding,painting with two coat of PU paint over a coat of approved steelprimer and transportation etc. complete all as perdrawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:1. Providing & fixing of steel cable/rope/rod/Tensile bolt for Foundation as required for work, shall be paid under this item. 2.The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.
38Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixingin position structural steelworks of any shape using Structural steel M.S. plain & chequered plates at all levels including welding, painting with two coat of PU paint over a coat of approved steelprimer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)
39Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using ISMBs, Joists, channels, angles, flats, Tees etc. of minimum grade Fe 250, at all levels including welding, painting with two coat of PU paint over a coat of approved steelprimer and transportation etc. All complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)
40Note for item no. 20 to 22:1. Structural steel conforming to IS: 2062 2. The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from the manufacturing firms and also testing from third party, if required to be arranged at no extra cost. 3. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate. 4. All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted. 5. Electrodes manufactured by preferred brand only shall be used.
41Important Note
42Note - 1) The bidder must possess valid EPF & ESIC registration. The bidders need to deposit EPF & ESIC with appropriate authority. The reimbursement for EPF & ESIC deposit shall not be made. 2) The payment of wages to labourers should be made through bank. 3) The bidder mustpossess sufficient manpower & other resources (as detailed in SGF ) required for the timely completion of work.4) A land for the construction of contractor shade in RRCAT premises shall be provided for material storage and contractor has to make arrangement for temporary shade at the alloted space for the shade & same must be removed after the completion of the work at their own cost. If contractor is allow to use departmental constructed space, same shall be charge @ 500/- per Sqm per month and contractor has to handover the same in good condition after the storage use.
