2Site clearance including cutting of bushes, shrubs & tree trunks etc and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50m from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in charge.
3Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) embedded in concrete, brick work masonry etc of any section including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed portion complete all as specified and as directed.
4Dismantling of galvanised mild steel barbed wire of any description from fencing post (RCC or steel) complete all as specified and as directed.
5Demolition, scrapping and making good to cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.
6Material and labour for raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 Kg of cement per sqm to brick work in walls or to brick on edge in floors, surface channels, roofs etccomplete all as specified and as directed.
7Demolition of brick work or stone /boulder masonry built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and as directed.
8Material and labour for brick work with sub class "B" bricks using old size bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6 etc complete all as specified and as directed.
9All as per srl item No.8.00 above but except bricks complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old re-useable bricks retrieved vide tiem No. 7.00 shall be re-used as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
10Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick on brick or concrete surface in CM 1:4 on walls, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed Notes:- (i) Trowel groove of size 10mmx6mm shall be provided at the junction of wall and RCC column/beam or any other dissimilar material. (ii) The cost of providing groove is deemed to be included in rate quoted by the bidder.
11Material and labour for applying two coats of cement base paint on new surface over a coat of primer including preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed.
12Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.
13Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using graded stone aggregate as in coping, bed blocks etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.
14Supply and fixing wire netting of galvanised steel wire 1.40mm dia (size of mesh 12mm) fixed with tinned tacks or wire staples with RCC/PCC/Brick surface complete all as specified and directed
15Supply and fixinghand rails,half round or other steel sections or core for wooden hand rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters, running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wires, etc flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including all necessary drilling, bolting or rivetting etc and similar work conforming to Grade Fe-290 (Gde E-165)complete all as specified and directed
16Supply and fixing galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia with 2mm barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to posts of any type including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of GI wire staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Each line wire shall be measured.
17Material and labour for preparation of old steel surface of any description over 10cm in width orgirthnot otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
18Material and labour for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide including preparation of new steel surfaces exceeding 10cm girth complete all as specified and directed.
19Material and labour fortaking out average 10mm-40mm thick of disturbed beam or column portion and preparing the affected concrete and steel surface by cleaning with metallic wire brush scrupiously and carrying out the following operations stepwise : (i) Apply rust remover solution on steel bars using cotton waste swab or by brush and leave the surface for atleast 15 to 30 minutes, remove the loose rust particles by scrubbing with brush and wash the steel surface with water . (ii) Apply red oxide primer over cleaned steel surfaces (iii) Apply chicken wire mesh with drilling bolting if required,grouting with average 40mm thick cement mortar 1:2 by pumping, finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified. NOTE: (a) The bars which are corroded badly shall be strengthen by placing new bars by welding with proper splice length and will be measured and paid separtely under appropriate item. (ii) The rate quoted is deemed to includes for all necessary formwork, shuttering, scaffloding, staging etc. (iii) Wire netting, where use got provided shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this BOQ.
