Name of Work: PROPOSED CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION WORK TO KAVANDI BARAV AT.AMBAD, TQ.AMBAD, DIST.JALNA.

1Dewatering on BHP basis by using water pump including diversion of stream, providing cofferdams, earthern bunds etc. as may be necessary for foundation and other parts of the the works and pumping out water during and after excavation as may be required by using 3.0 BHP pump etc. complete. 2Labour charges for removing grass, thorney shrubs, Jungli shrub, Kubabul and alike grass along roadside making the ground clean by showel and phavaras etc. complete.
3Lowering down carefully existing stone masonry of the monument manually in proper order including shifting the stone elements up to a distance of 50 meter beyond the monument area and stacking them as directed by Engineer in-charge, removing building rubbish and cleaning the site etc. complete.
4Removal of stains, dirt, blackening and other contaminants from Stone by using the solution of Non Ionic soap diluted with water . The soap solution should be mild and the recommeded PH Value is 7.
5Dismantlingstonemasonryinlimeorcementmortarincludingstackingthematerilsas directed with all leads, lifts etc.
6Dismantling the R.C.C. Work 1:2:4 and sorting out the materials such as steel etc. as directed and stacking them within the specified lead as directed etc. complete.
7Excavation for foundation in earth, soil of all types, sand, gravel and soft murum, including removingtheexcavatedmaterialuptoadistanceof50m.beyondthebuildingareaand stackingandspreadingasdirected,dewatering,preparingthebedforthefoundationand necessary back filling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5 m.) By Mechanical Means
8Providing soling using 80 mm size trap metal in 15 cm. layer including filling voids with Crushed sand/grit, ramming, watering etc.
9Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including bailing out water, centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer as per specifications including bailing out water, watering etc. complete.
10Providing Un-coursed Rubble Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½, in foundation and plinth as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones to be set in the work as received from the quarry, after merely knocking off weak corners and edges with the masons hammer, the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5 mm. (½?) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (1?) where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, bailing out water, watering and all exposed masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
11Providing/Re-setting Ashlar Fine Masonry of reuse-stones in lime mortar 1:1 in plinth as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (??), the stone shall be laid in regular course, the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
12Providing Ashlar Fine Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1 with size of stone 60 cm. x 45 cm. x 22.5 cm. in plinth as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, dressing every stones fine tooled on all beds, joints and faces, full true if the surface are plane or to uniform curves or twists if required, the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (??), the stone shall be laid in regular course not less than 30 cm. (12?) in height averaging 4½ c. ft., the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 13Providing Ashlar Fine Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1 with size of stone 30 cm. x 30 cm. x 60 cm. in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, dressing every stones fine tooled on all beds, joints and faces, full true if the surface are plane or to uniform curves or twists if required, the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (??), the stone shall be laid in regular course not less than 30 cm. (12?) in height averaging 4½ c. ft., the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 14Providing Ashlar Arching of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1, with size of stone 40 cm. x 30 cm. x 21.25 cm as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the arch stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the arch stones in all cases of the entire thickness, the arch stones shall be dressed full and true to their proper shapes with the necessary summering, twist or winding and be set in fine mortar, the intrados, joints and beds to fairtooled and left full, the cast or keying course to be accurately fitted, at all horizontal joints the intrados to have a 2 cm. (¾?) chamfer, the face stone may be tooled or rock-faced with or without chamfer as directed, in arches up to 60 cm. (2?) in depth all stones shall be of the full thickness of the ring, arches to be built on proper centring, the bed joints shall be radial and the side joints shall be at right angles to the bed joints and the thickness of the joints shall not exceed 5 mm. (3/16?) preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, cantering/scaffolding, watering and all arch work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. (For Arch)
15Providing Block In Course Stone Steps of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½ with size of stone 45 cm. x 35 cm. x 20 cm as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the stones shall be of exact size and shape, the shall be rough-tooled on exposed surface, holes for balusters should be cut in the steps before they are laid, each stone shall rest at least 3.8 cm. (1½?) on that below it, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (??), preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all steps work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
16Providing Rectangular Coping Cut-stone Second Sort, 20 cm. height and 52.5 cm. wide of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½, size of stone is 75 cm. x 55 cm. x 20 cm. as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the stone shall be dressed full or to template, exposed face of the stones shall be rough-tooled and all joints shall be in line and close and not more than 3 mm. thick, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all coping work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
17Repairing of .5mm to 5 mm wide open joints / cracks in all types of sand stone masonry work including scrapping of loose jointing material from cracks. The inner side to be filled/pointed with polymer mixed lime mortar with wooden trowel and fixing grouting nipple from outer side as directed by Architect. Then apply polymer based lime mortar by injection grouting through 5mm diameter nozzle through the pre fix nipple up to total thickness of existing stone wall and removing the PVC nipple pipe, lime moratr of mix lime & sand 1:1 mix with polymer using katha or other additives to achieve require matching colour and including cost of all materials, labour, machinery, equipment, curing and cleaning the site as directed.
18Providing and laying cast in situ 1:1:4 Lime Concrete of broken brick metal for coping or waterproofing as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required, with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate or surkhi in drum mixer, the concrete must be bitten for two days with pouring water as per specifications, scaffolding, watering and all concrete work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains, etc. complete.
19Providing and fixing Stone Paving, Second Sort in lime mortar 1:1½, with size of stone 45 cm. x 30 cm. x 15 cm., as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all stone slabs to of approved quality, hard, even, sound, durable and uniform thickness, the stones to be not finely chisel-dressed on the surface and the course to be of prescribed width, true for top 25 mm. (1?), the joints running true, the stones to be laid with joints not exceeding 8 mm. (5/16?) thick and to be evenly and firmly bedded flush in mortar on the concrete and no hollow left, side to be dressed true and as per shape at least half the depth from the face, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all paving work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
20Carving out of ornamental work including moulding. grove, chisseling & dresing the same part with fine finishing as per existing/similar type of work of on the stone surface of any type & size or as directed by engineer in charge etc. complete. The charges for chisscling & dressing on stone surface for govering at the stone surface after chisling a fine surface rate for as per market rate
21Providing injection grouting with a slurry of lime and fine screened sand in proportion 1:1 with a proper pressurized jet pump, including cleaning, washing and packing the existing cracks or holes in the brick or stone masonry properly upwards with the slurry, scaffolding, curing, etc.complete.
22Providing and erecting chain link fencing 1.6 M. height with G.I. chain link of size 50x 50 mm, 8 gauge thick and fixed 75 mm above ground level on vertical M.S. Angles of 40 x 40 x 6 mm size, includind excavating pits for foundation and embedded in C.C. block of 1:4:8 mix of size 450 x 450 x 670 mm. at 1.75 M. c/c with iron bar 16mm dia as hold fast including welding link with angle frame at 30 cm c/c with nuts and bolts and horizontal M.S. 23Providing and fixing mild steel grill railing weighing 20Kilogram/One Square Metre. with PVC handrail cover and newel post for staircases, including fabricating, fixtures, drilling holes in concrete / other surface, erecting the grill work, necessary welding, fixing by nuts and bolts, fixing PVC handrail cover, with one coat of anticorrosive paint and two coats of oil painting with approved colour and shade, remaking the damaged surface, cleaning, etc. complete. Spec. One Number : As directed by Engineer in charge.
24Providing, detailing, and fabricating as per specifications, transporting to site and erecting MS Openable / Sliding / Revolving/ Ornamental Entrance Gates including track and wheel, locking arrangement, fixing bolts, nuts, washers, cleats, stiffeners, gussets decorative balusters, arrow heads etc. and all necessary operations like straightening, bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, machining if specified, welding etc. complete weighing 60 to 65 kg/Sqm, including cleaning, Grinding and removing the welding burr and preparing surface and applying one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer and one coat of Synthetic Enamel paint after fabrication and second coat of Synthetic Enamel paint after erection, with approved colour, shade and brand etc. including touching up with primer etc. complete as directed by Engineer In Charge. (As Per MCGM 2023)
25Providing and fixing 90cm x 60cm Granite plate engraving 10cm. Heightletter, figures including painting the lefters/figures with approved colour and shade complete (For size of granite plate 1.2 x 1.5 m of thickness 20 to 25 mm)
26Providing and fixing informatory sign boards in rectangular shape of size 1.20m x 0.90m made out of 16 guage Aluminum panel bonded with IRC Specified colour ofretro reflective sheeting of Type IV High Intensity Micro-Prismatic Grade Sheeting (HIP) having pressure sensitive / heat activated adhesive, IRC Specified colour retro reflective cutout border & messages having pressure sensitive adhesive having border & messages in IRC Specified colour background including M.
