1Material and labour for disconnecting all incoming and outgoing cables of transformers of following capacities at various locations installed on two pole/four pole structures/on platforms/at Sub Stations, opening the top cover, carrying out following activities :- (a) Draining out all the transformer oil to clean barrel for reuse. (b)Dismantling of all attachment viz breather assy, conservator, oil temperature gauge, HT/LT bushing etc and keeping aside for re-use and re-assembling the serviceable dismantled parts/new spare by providing new insulation materials, gasket, nuts & bolts etc. (c) Inspection of transformer core and winding, drying out transformer core and winding in vacuum chamber till specified IR values are obtained. (d)Cleaning of complete transformer tank, oil fins, removing of sludge and making the inside surface of tank dry by blowing of hot air as directed. Note : Dehydration of collected transformer oil shall be measured and paid under respective item of Sch.

13Material and labour for removing the of transformers of following capacities at various locations installed on two pole/four pole structures/on platforms/at Sub Stations and loading it in the vehicle carefully using crane and transporting it to the workshop for HV/LV re-winding, transport the transformer back to the site , install it complete all as specified and directed :- Notes : (a) Material and labour for Cost of re-winding shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ here-in-after. (b)All other repair work and replacement of spares/components shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of Sch.

42Material and labour for on site centrifusing (dehydration) of old transformer oil at various locations of transformers of Capacity 100 KVA to 630 KVA/ Voltage stablizer installed on two pole/four pole structures/on platforms/at Sub Station/or at any other location by filter action using automatic centrifusing (dehydration) machine to achieve min 40 KV breakdown voltage (di-electric strength) at 2.5 mm gap for 2 minutes by absorbing and abolishing all sludge particles for use as perBS-B 66-1983 complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (a) All disconnection/re-connection of transformers/Voltage stablizers HT/LT cables, T & P for required for above activity shall be arranged by contractor and quoted rates deemed to include for same. (b) Dielectric strength of the oil to be tested at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and recorded the same.
43Supply and fill new transformer oil ISI Marked (for topping up) confirming to IS-335 of 1993, low viscosity with dielectric strength 50 KV breakdown voltage in 2.5mm gap for 2 minutes filled in transformer/in Voltage stablizer at various locations in Station and testing, complete all as specified anddirected. Notes :- Dielectric strength of the oil to be tested at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and recorded the same.
44Supply & fixing of cork/rubber gasket 4mm thick for top cover and other joints for transformers/voltage stablizers of capacity upto 630 KVA,11/0.433 KV complete all as specified and as directed.
45Material and labour for preparation of old surfaces by scraping, removing, cleaning, of oil, grease painting of transformers/Voltage Stablizers body and (internally and externally), applying two coat of heat resistant synthetic enamel paint of colour as directed by spray painting including writing MES No and SM No on body with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed for following capacities transformer:- Make of Synthetic enamel paint: Shalimar Paints (Superlac)/ Asian (Apcolite)/ Berger (Luxol)/ Jenson & Nicholson Paints Ltd (Brolac)/ Nerolac (Impression)

54Material and labour for earthing complete with Copper earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 3.15 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to copper earth strip of size 20mmx3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for protection of earth wire and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI/CI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 5 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009)drawing and connection to earth test point including testing and including dismantling and taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii)The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate.

56Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan & getting out, for laying of cables, foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. and getting out including triming and forming bottom surface complete, all as directed.
