19M & L IN REPAIRS for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat of red-oxide primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint followed by epoxy coating suitable for 11 KV INSULATION including dismantling un-serviceable / defective cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete and removing away from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
20M & L IN REPAIRS for replacement of pin type porcelain vitreous white brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washer and one galvanised iron nut 150 mm height , 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade, conforming to IS:731-1971 complete all as speified and as directed.
21M & L IN REPAIRS for replacement of disc type insulator porcelain vitreous 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts confirming to IS:3188-1980 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
22M & LIN REPAIRS for replacement of Lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp confirming to IS, suitable for 11000 volts grade working pressurecomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE:-The cost for necessary jumpers for connecting the lightning arrestors shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of BOQ.
23M & LIN REPAIRS for replacement of danger notice plate of size 25cm x 20cm and 1.6 mm thick of mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled / paintedwhite with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
24S&F IN REPAIRS forreplacement of male contact or moving contact blade made out of Brass suitable for 11 KV GO/DO air break switch assembly complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
25All as per BOQ item No 20 above but female contact or fixed contact jaw suitable for 11 KV GO/DO air break switch assembly complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
26All as per BOQ item No 21 above but pin insulator straight / tilted type suitable for 11 KV GO/DO air break switch assembly complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
27Taking out VCB trolly from the VCB chamber after switching off all necessary system, calibrating/servicing, greasing the gear operating mechanism,charging spring stiffness, insure the contact force of spring and setting of relays IDMT/ micropressor type adjusting with the tripping fault level, tuning with the state elctricity department tripping system, so that the fault in MES system should not transferred to the state system (IDMT Alstom with 2 o/c and 1 E/F element, CDG 32 replacing of damaged/worn out part of VCB for any type/ any capacity of matching with existing VCB make Schneider, crompton greaves, seimens etc.all as directed by Engr in charge. Note: (i) The servicing will be carried out by the service engineer of OEM. (ii) The contractor will submit the test report to the Engr-in-Charge submitted by the OEM service Engineer of schnieder crompton greaves, kirloskar, seimens. (iii) The damaged/ worn out parts replaced will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ and the same will be treated as supply only. (iv) VCB: Tasks to be performed - Check auxiliary supply and control voltage, Physical checking of Breakers, Check fixed and moving contacts, Check close & trip coil, Clean the breaker compartment thoroughly, Lubricate the breakers if necessary, Apply grease / petroleum jelly on required part, Check spring charging motor, Do physical verification of any wear & tear in the breaker and rectify it, if possible, Physical checking of epoxy housing Tests - Measurement of contact resistance (by millivolt drop test or with digital micrometer), Breaker Operation Test both Manually and Electrically (5 Operations each), Measurement of IR values, Check earth continuity, HV Test in open & close condition with suitable HV Kit for both 6.6 & 36KV VCBS, Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles.
28(v) For Protection & control panel; Tasks - Check auxiliary supply and control voltage, Check control and power fuses/ indication lamps, Check the space heater, Check close & trip coil, Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any, Tests on Current Transformers, Tests on Potential Transformers, Testing on Relays, Functional Verification of individual feeder, Simulation test for under Voltage tripping of related feeder (e.g. motor feeder, capacitor feeder, Control Supply Scheme, Simulation test for bus Auto /manual changeover schemeverification, Stability / differential protection test. Tests - Current Transformer, Insulation resistance test, Ratio Test by Primary injection, Knee point voltage test for PS class CT, Potential Transformer, Insulation resistance test, Ratio Test by Primary injection, Polarity Test, Relay Testing, Primary Injection Test, Secondary Injection Test, Relay Setting. Pick -up and operating time check, Display. (vi) HT Panel (Vertical), Tasks - Check the insulation, loose connections, Clean the breaker compartment thoroughly, Clean the Cable chamber & test, Panel outside, Check cable end termination & tighten if required, Apply grease / petroleum jelly on required parts, Check shutter operation, Check tightness of circuit & earth connections. Test insulation resistance, Check busbar support insulators, Alignment checks of VCB for proper rack-in & rack out, Alignment of panel doors for Breaker chamber, LV chamber & Rear door (to the extent possible), Check of limit switches control cable conduit, Phase barrier setting in cable chamber (to the extent possible), Condition of painted surfaces, condition of structure, door, wiring. Instruments, relays, power isolating contacts and auxiliary isolating contacts, Checking of all indicating instruments, cleaning & lubrication of moving parts, tightening of nuts & bolts, checking of trolley wheels alignment during insertion. Tasks to be performed-R Test, Contact resistance test (this will be done without opening of busbar insulation -HT tape & compound). (vii) The contractor/his power of attomy must be attend the complaint, in case of emergency informed by JE/Engr-incharge, if no response given by the contractor, the recovery of Rs quoted rate/job shall be made on account during RAR.
29Supply only Vaccum Interrupter / Vaccum bottle 440 Volts matching with existing and suitable for 11 KV existing VCBcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
30Supply only Spring charging motor, 110V AC/DC matching with existing and suitable for 11 KV existing VCBcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
31Supply only Breaker Control switchwith spring return and sequence device, 32 Amps, 440 Voltsmatching with existing and suitable for 11 KV existing VCBcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

37Supply & Fix IN REPAIRS Digital voltmeter 0-11KV suitable to function with built selector switchmatching with existing and suitable for 11 KV existing VCB Pane, flush pattern, fitting in existing slot in VCB Panel including wiring duly interconnected with Potential transformer (PT) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
38Supplying and laying in replacement synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical INSTALLATIONS as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
39M&L, in repair, earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level] with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SI Part I all as specified and testing on completion includingprovisionof earth lead protected by 15 mm dia light grade GI pipe & watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe including all excavation and earth work, PCC pit with RCC cover, char coal, salt, funnel etc complete. Note:- Rate quoted by tenderers shall be deemed to include for following provisions-[i]. Excavation & earth work in any type of soil including removing of surplus material upto 50 m. [ii].PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in pit & 40mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover 50x50 cm with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C both ways with handles.[iii]. Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 mtr.[iv]. Funnel with watering pipe [GI pipe] 20mm bore medium grade & copper lugs, charcoal & salt as reqd.[v]. GI protection pipe of size 15 mm bore light grade 7.5m.
40M & L IN REPAIRS for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32 x 6mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and directed.
41Repair defective step down 11 KV / 0.433 any capacity from 50/63 KVA to 100 KVA transformer any make, plinth/floor/pole mounted, indoor/outdoor type, removing from site by disconnecting all connections of (All area of AGE EM Guwahati), transporting/lifting with required T&P, hydra machine etc. to local/authorised work shop for carrying out the major repair of the transformer, detecting the fault, step opening of the transformer, Re-winding of HT/LT coils with suitable size/gauge aluminium/ copper winding matching with existiing winding wire gauge), core of transformer, warnishing, drying/heating in oven as per indian standard, & carrying out repair of other necessary spares parts of the transformer in work shop, complete including spray painting, factory test before despatch the transformer including transporting carefully, refixing back to original position complete all as directed and entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge.Note: (a) Dismantling/ reassembling, at work shop shall be included in quoted rates(b) lifting, transportation from site to work shop and refixing back to original posittion shall inculded in quoted rates (c) Dehydration/filteration & trf oil shall be mesured and paid separetely under relevant item of BOQ and treated as supply only measured and paid séparetely under relevant items of BOQ and treated as supply only (d) Spray painting, nuts, bolts and washer shall be (e) The cost of silica jel, rubber gasket, temperature gauge, breather assembly, gate valve, welding, shall be measured and paid separetely under relevant items of BOQ and treated as supply only (f) replacement of LV/HV bushing/ spindles/ copper wire wt. for rewinding of HV/LV coils / tap changer etc will be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of BOQ. and treated as supply only (g) Topping up of transformer oil (if required) shall be mesured and paid separetely under relevant item of BOQ and treated as supply only. (h) The contractor shall be produce the test certificate issued by factory/work shop before despatch the transformer. (i) The neccesary T&P, hydra machine shall be provided by the contractor and the same shall be included in quoted rates)

45Material and labour for Painting of the transformer by cleaning of surface of the transformer of any capacity by hand scraper and removing the oil mark including filling the cavities with a filler coatand applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint mathing to the existing colour by spray painting including writing / marking SM / MES NO on the transformer in white colour letters complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following capacities of the transformers :-

52Material and labour for dehydration and filtration of existing installed transformer oil including heating continuously till obtaining the desired di-electric strength up to 60 KV complete including taking results of transformer oil before / after filtration and dehydration of transformer oilcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (i)The contractor has to arrange the de-hydration cum filtration plant with oil hose of sufficient length to reach up to the transformers/ switch gears and the oil di-electric strength testing machine. (ii) Dehydration & filtration of oil transformers shall be carried out ON-Line.Shut down will be given for making necessary pipe/ hose line connections from machine to transformer.
53Supply and topping up fresh Transformer oil of low visosity of approved make as per IS 355 of 1992 and having minimum di-electric strength 60 KV into the transformers and the HT switch gearsall as directed.
54Supply and fix IN REPAIRS breather assembly duly filled with silica gel for transformers of capacity from 50 KVA to 150 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
55Supply and fix IN REPAIRS breather assembly duly filled with silica gel for transformers of capacity from 200 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
56Material and labour IN REPAIRS for replacement of oil level glass for transformer of capacity from 50 KVA to 150 KVAKVA as requiredcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

NOTE:- Weight of HT leg coil shall be measuredand paid as per actual measurement on ground.
