During Di / Dr Dribbling Of Injector Observed. Suspect, Malfunctioning Of Injector Nozzle / Fuel Pump. In View Of The Foregoing, Following Defect Rectifications To Be Undertaken In Apu And Proved For Satisfactory Operation. ( A ) Condition Assessment / Testing Of Fuel Injectors ( Qty-02 Nos ) And Replace If Required. ( B ) Overhauling Of Fuel Injection Pump And Replace Defective Parts. ( C ) Renewal Of All Gaskets / Seals. ( D ) Tappet Setting And Timing Of Engine To Be Set As Per Oem Procedure. ( E ) Trials Of Apu To Be Undertaken At Rated Load And Trial Report To Be Submitted. => Limited

    1E-056/H-182:Excessive black smoke and hunting observed in APU (Make: Lombardini, Italy, Model: LDW-602) onboard H-182. During DI/DR dribbling of injector observed. Suspect, malfunctioning of injector nozzle/fuel pump. In view of the foregoing, following defect rectifications to be undertaken in APU and proved for satisfactory operation. (a) Condition assessment/ testing of fuel injectors (Qty-02 Nos) and replace if required. (b) Overhauling of fuel injection pump and replace defective parts. (c) Renewal of all gaskets/seals. (d) Tappet setting and timing of engine to be set as per OEM procedure. (e) Trials of APU to be undertaken at rated load and trial report to be submitted.
