Name of Work:-Pit making, maintenance, Providing and Fixing of 19283 Iron Tree Guardand Watch & Ward for 19283 saplings in NH-44, at 17.35 kms stretch on Srinagar-Banihal section on the sides of carriagways . Year 2023-24 & 2024-25

Pit Making and transplanting of 14898 mulberry saplings in a pit of size of 60cm x 60cm x 60cm, at the identified NH stretches total plantation length of approx. 17.35 kilometer on RHS/LHS of NH-44 on Srinagar- Banihal Section at different stretches including carriage & lifting of mulberry plants from nearby spot, head load carriage including loading & unloading, application of fully dried FYM (@ 5 kg/pit) and irrigation (5 liter/pit/plant) at the time of plantation and 03 irrigation application up to March, 2024, weed control and general maintenance as per scope of work.

Maintenance of 4385 mulberry plants at identified NH stretches for January 2024 to March 2024 at total length of approx.17.35 Km on RHS/LHS of NH-44 in Srinagar- Banihal Section at different stretches including for weed control between rows and general maintenance of mulberry plants at designated stretches etc.

Maintenance of 19283 mulberry saplings at identified NH stretches for 2024-25 at total length of approx.17.35 km on RHS/LHS of NH-44 on Srinagar- Banihal Section at different stretches including (i) Application of fully dried FYM (@ 5 kg/pit); (ii) 08 irrigations @ 5 liter/pit/plant during 2024-25; (iii) application for chemical fertilizers DAP @ 0.090 kg/plant, UREA @ 0.150 kg/plant, MOP @ 0.70 kg/plant to be applied in two split doses; (iv) weed control between rows and (v) general maintenance of plantation at designated stretches etc.

Providing and Fixing of 19283 Iron Tree Guard [Specification : Iron made;Shape - Round; Colour - Green;Wire Mesh Thickness- 03 mm; Mesh Aperture Size - 75mm x 50mm; Diameter/Width of Frame- 450mm; Height of the frame/Mesh (excluding legs)- 1500mm; No. of legs - 3 Nos; Height of the Legs- 300mm, Material of the Mesh- M.S. Wire; Warranty- 5 years; Overall Weight- 5.5 kg) at identified NH stretches total length of approx.17.35 km on RHS/LHS of NH-44 on Srinagar-Banihal Section at different stretches. Individual tree guard to be fixed at 3 meter plant-to-plant & row-to-row distance with the cement concrete mixture of specified grade 1:3:6 (1cement, 3 coarse sand, 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) including loading, unloading, transportation etc up to actual site of work, complete job, besides fixing of individual tree guard firmly in the ground up to basal height of 6\".

Round the clock watch and ward 48 manpower to ensure complete safety and security of 19283 mulberry plants along with individual Tree Guards at identified NH-44 stretches spread over at the total length of approx. 54.20 Km [having plantation length of 17.35 km] on RHS/LHS of NH-44 on Srinagar-Banihal Section at different stretches up to March 2025.
