9Priming with one coat of zinc chrome and two coats of synthetic enamel after surface preparation, after steel members are cleaned throroughly to remove corrosion scale using buffing wheel and emery cloth as per manufacturer"s specification for ladder, pit covers, handle and door of caissons complete all as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge.
10Stainless steel (Grade316) railing made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (whereever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary acessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
11Cutting holes into or through cement concrete slabs, chajjas, etc. reinforced or otherwise Exc. 100 Sqcm but not exc 250 sqcm all as specified & directed.
12Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing confirming to Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and directedby Engineer-in-Charge.
13Mild steel, plain, black sheet 1.6mm thick in hearths; covering to door shutters; covering to door chowkats (frames) ; chullah hoods; water troughts; ducts; urinal troughs and funnels etc. cut to size edges beaded if directed, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel members etc., with plain 40mm lap joints or welded/riveted seams including bending, turning up, mitred angles, stopped ends, outlets etc a required.
14Preparation of new steel surfacesof any description, not otherwise descri-bed, over 10cm width or girthand applying two coats of synthitic enamal paint over zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge.
15Wooden rubbing strip having size 300mm x 150mm of of 2nd class hardwood( seasoned sal wood)material compered up to 20mm along the berthing face including fixing material, labour and tools & tackles cutting holes into or through cement concrete slab, chajja etc, inserting bolts, reinforced of otherwise and fixing with haxagonal or square head, fitted with washer and penetrate properly as approved by engineer-in-charge etc. complete all as shown in drawing (s) specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
16Preparation of newwooden surfacesof any description, over 10cm in width or girth,not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthitic enamal point over pink primer complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge
176mm thick MS chequered plates of cable trenches with riveted bolted or welded attachment of approved quality complete all as specifed and directed by the engineer in charge.
18Air and water tight MS marine manhole cover of caissons with flush type opening, handles etc. complete all as shown in drawing (s) specified and directed by the engineer in charge. Make : MJR Corporation or Equivalent as approved by GE
19MS angles for edge protection of cable trench at in-situ part with proper lugs and angle section of size 200mm x 75mm x 6mm along berthing face in proper line and level including removal of damaged angles / channels with all tools and tackles etc. Complete all as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge with and including the following:- Notes: (i) The surface shall be free from rust followed by one coat of red oxide primer (after blasting) and one coat of zinc silicate. (ii) The primed surface shall be covered with two coat of PU based final paint. (iii) Damaged angle & channel shall be stored properly at site/placed as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for consideration of credit.
20200 mm thick RCC pre-cast concrete cover sealing all the joints with chemical sealant like nitoseal MS600 (FOSROC) or equivalent for water tightness. complete including replacement of old one wherever required all as shown in drawings (s) specified and directed.
21Steel work in tubular trusses includning special shaped washer etc complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I>S.1161-1979 grade st-240. Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
22Pre painted galvatume aluminium zinccoating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour (to be decided by Engineer-in-Charge) having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23Painting new surface of steel of any description over 10cm in width or girth over one coat of red oxide primer not otherwise described.
24Roughing old concrete surfaces by picking, sweeping cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust and burshing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per sqm and providing heavy water proof treatment on RCC roof comprising with the following specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) 15mm thick plastering in cement moran 1:3 finished even and smooth. (b) Preparing & cleaning of fully dried cement plasterd surface. (c) Applying one coat of bituminous thick coat on the plastered surface @ 1.2 kg per sqm conforming to IS 3384-1986. (d) A layer of APP based polymeric member 3mm thick (min) weighting 3.5 kgper sqm reinforced with polyster on woven fabric (weighing not less than 160gms per sqm ) applied over bituminous prime surface as specified above. Application of polymeric membrance shall be with torch application. The overlap shall be 100mm on transvers direction & 75 min on longitudinal direction.
25: Removal of unsound concrete carefully by chipping to expose the reinforcement steel by Hilti or equivalent make Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) type chipper machine (to ensure less vibration along adjacent concrete) to an average depth of 75mm or less till the encounter of sound concrete surface including all necessary staging, scaffolding, platform, tools and tackies including disposal of the debris from site etc. complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge. 26Drilling and installing 12mm dia holes about 100mm to 200mm deep (nozzle spacing should be as per the methodology) on member walls avoiding mircofine cement lumps, cleaning the holes with compressed air and spiral brush to make it free from drill dust including fixing twin lock nozzles of 11mm dia. OD (to sustain pressure upto 10kg/cm2) in 12 mm dia holes with epoxy putty etc. complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY
27Pressure grouting with low viscosity epoxy of approved quality (low viscosity solvent free prepacked resin and hardener, free flow epoxy system after mixing) with pressure of 3-4 kg/cm2 to be carried out until refusal is reached complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge. Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY Make: BASF, Krishna conchem, Fosroc or equivalent
28Single component cementitious corrosion inhibting primer in powder form needing only water addition at site at a w/p ratio of 0.3 (30%) having a mix density in the range of 2.0-2.5kg/litre and a pot life exceeding 25 minutes. It shall have a touch dry time of 10-15 minutes and minimum adhesion bond strength of 1 MPa when tested on strandard electrometer as per ASTM D 4541-85 providing a coverage of 10-12 m/kg for a 12mm dia. bar when applied at 1mm thickness complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge and as per manufacturer instructed. . 29Bond coat of epoxy bonding agent having a mixed density of 1.45-1.5 kg/litre and a pot life of minimum 2 hrs at 35C, having an open time of 6hrs becoming fully hard at 24 hours achieving a minimum compressive strength of 40N/mm2 @ 7 days when tested as per ASTM D 695 or BS 6319 Part 3, achieving a minimum tensile stength of 15 N/mm2 @ 7 days when tested as per BS 6319 Part 7 or ASTM D 638 achieveing a slant shear bond strength of minimum 11 N/mm2 with concrete when tested as per ASTM C 881 and provide a coverage of around 2-2.5m2/litrecomplete all as specifiedand directed by the engineer in charge and as per manufacturer instructed. Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY
30Corrosion resistant single component polymer fibre reinforced cementious repair mortar having water powder ratio in the range of 0.16 and the mixed density of around 2.05-2.20 g/cc, having a minimum compressive strength of 7 Mpa @ 1 day when tested as per ASTM C-109 and a flexural strength of 7 Mpa when tested as per ASTM C 348 minimum adhesion bond strength of 2 MPa when tested on standard elctrometer as per ASTM D 4541-85. The modulusfo elasticity shall be a minimum of 28 kN/mm2 when tested as per BS1881 material complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge as per manufacturer instructed.Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY Male: BASF, Krishna Conchem, Fosroc or equivalent
31Single coat of migrating multifunctional corrosion inhibitor on cleaned and prepared concrete surface applied by a suitable brush/roller to provide a coverage 12kg/m3 for any type of concrete surface dosage 1-3% by weight of cementitiousand w/c less than 0.4 depending on the surface conditions complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in chargeLocation:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY Make: Sika, Krishna Conchem or equivalent (i) Material density should be 1.04 kg/litre @ 25C and compatiable for use upto 70C surface temperature.
32TMT reinforcement coated with two coats of steel protective single component cementitiouscorrosion inhibiting primer, welded with existing reinforcement up to lap length as per existing diameter of reinforcement including clearing the existing bar complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge. Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY
33Additional anchorage (shear connectors) including drilling holes of 12mm diameter about 75mm deep at 600mm c/c, cleaning the holes with compressed air, filling polyster resin in the holes as per required quantity, fixing the connector bar of 8mm diamenter in the hole 175mm long complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
34Ready to use fast setting micro-concrete for an 80mm thick (average thickness) wearing coarse over jetty concrete with 10mm down size aggregates with necessary shuttering including compacting in proper line and level with all tools and tackles etc. complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY Make: BASF, Krishna Conchem, Fosroc (Rendroc RG Spl) or equivalent Note: (i) Mixing and placing shall be done as per manufacture"s instruction. (ii) 24 hrs compressive strength should be 30 N/mm2.
35Removal of existing top epoxy coated surface of jetty by using grinder and required tool and tackles complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge. Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY
363MM thick fast setting polyurethane coating with a nylon brush, or a flat pile felt roller, to the prepared substrate at a wet film thickness of 80 mircrons (40 microns DFT) over the top surface of jetty including in following complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge. Location:- EXTERNAL AREA AND UNDERDECK OF JETTY Notes: (i) All surfaces must be smooth, sound and free debris, loose/flaking material and areas of standing water. (ii) Surfaces must be free from contramination such as oil, grease, dust, loose particles and organic growth. (iii) Concrete surfaces must be fully cured, laitance free and free from any traces of shuttering, release oils and curing compounds. (iv) Allow first coat to dry for 2-4 hours at 30C and then apply the second coat. (v) Application of coating shall be as per manufacturer instruciton. 37One coat of primer & two coat of acrylic based protective waterproofing and anti-carbonation coating on faired surface as per manufacturer"s recommended admixed ratio to make coating workable over all exposed RCC surface at all heights complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge. 50TMT Fe 500 bars with two coats of epoxy paint 10mm diameter including cutting and bending with binding wire complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
51RMC M-35 using 20mm aggregate etc. with minimum cement content (410 Kg/Cum) as specified with super plasticizer for concreting of jetty deck slab in rail portion in alternative bay etc. complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
52MS base plate for rail truck and seal fender, 20mm thickness conforming to grade Fe 410, cut to required size or notched forming holes for bolts etc. all as shown in drawings complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
53Supply only mild steel rivets screw bolt 20mm dia with hexagon or square head at one end and screwed at other end fitted with washer etc complete 150mm long complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
54Rolled section as in rail 52 Kg/m (commercial rail 52 conforming IS) fixed on base plate, incl cutting the rails to required length grinding the ends incl fish plates of suitable pattern having 4 boult joint and MS separators all as shown in drawings complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
55Galvanized steel anchor of 5.8 grade steel HIT V M20 x 260 anchor rod of Hilti complete with nut and washer with max anchorage depth of 200mm fixed with hilti chemical HY 150 using Hilti MD 2000 kit in to RCC structure including drilling holes complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
56Mild steel rails stopper and welding the same with rail track complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
57Non shrink free flow grout such as GP2 from Fosroc or equivalent in space below base plate and around rails complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.
58FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM
59Electric motor driven fire pump to deliver 5000 litre/min flowrate at 125 mWC head and suitable for automatic operation and consisting of following, complete with accessories as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge. [i] Horizontal split-casing single stage single suction horizontal split-casing pump of cast iron body & bronze impeller with stainless steel shaft, mechanical seal, etc. conforming to IS 12469: 2019, suitable to deliver5000 litre/min flowrate at 125 mWC head [ii] Suitable HP squirrel cage induction motor, TEFC, synchronous speed 1500 RPM, suitable for operation on 3- Ph, 415 V, 50 Hz AC supply with IP 55 protection for enclosure, horizontal foot mounted type with Class "F" insulation, conforming to IS 12615: 2018 & IS 15301: 2003. [iii] MS fabricated common base-plate, coupling, coupling guard, foundation bolts, etc. complete with accessories as required. [iv] Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti vibration pads. NOTES: [i] The pump shall be capable of furnishing not less than 150% rated capacity at a head of not less than 65% of the rated head. [ii] The shut-off head shall not exceed 120% of rated head. [iii] The coupling guard shall be of zero access type. [iv] The quoted rate shall include providing and fixing of vibration pad, common base plate, foundation bolts, grouting etc.[v] Pump sets shall be as per NFPA-20. [vi] Pump sets shall be installed as per IS 15301: 2003 Make: Kirloskar, Mather & Platt, Crompton Greves
60Electric driven Jockey Pump to deliver 900 LPM flowrate at 125 mWC head and suitable for automatic operation and consisting of following, complete with accessories all as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge.[i] Horizontal type, centrifugal, split-casing pump of cast iron body & bronze impeller with stainless steel shaft, mechanical seal, etc. conforming to IS 12469: 2019, suitable to deliver 900 LPM flowrate at 125 mWC head.[ii] Suitable HP squirrel cage induction motor, TEFC, synchronous speed, having IE3 efficiency and suitable for operation on 3- Ph, 415 V, 50 Hz AC supply with IP 55 protection for enclosure, horizontal foot mounted type with Class "F" insulation, conforming to IS 12615: 2018.
61[iii] MS fabricated common base-plate, coupling, coupling guard, foundation bolts, etc. complete with accessories as required. [iv] Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti vibration pads. 174[i] The BTS, both feeder and plug-in, shall be housed in mineral epoxy resin. All components and fittings (straight length, elbow, tee, flanged end, cable tap-off box, circuit breaker etc.) shall conform to IEC 61439-1&6:2012 or UL 857.
175[ii] The rated operation voltage of BTS shall 1 kV. The neutral conductor shall have the same cross-sectional area as the phase conductor and the earth bus shall be provided on both sides of the housing.
176[B] CERTIFICATE
177[i] The BTS, of full range and each rating, shall pass full type tests specified in IEC 61439-6-2012. The certificate shall be issued by an international independent testing authority, e.g. ASTA. KEMA. UL etc.
178[ii] A product safety mark, e.g. KEMA-KEUR, ASTA DIAMOND, UL etc. shall be on the product offering a visual assurance of full product safety testing, factory inspection and ongoing surveillance under independent authority.
179[iii] The BTS shall have UBC seismic zone 5 compliance tested with busduct and plug-in box assembly by an internationally recognized earthquake research body, e.g. Asian Pacific Network of Centres for Earthquake Engineering Research (ANCER) as per IEEE 693- 2018. 192[i] The BTS housing material shall be mineral epoxy resin. The cast resin run shall be equipped with an insulating sheath to ensure the integrity of circuit in the event of fire [ii] The BTS housing shall be totally enclosed and non-ventilated for protection against mechanical damage and dust accumulation and it shall be tested for its characteristics offering resistance against corrosion. Any modification of BTS to make it totally enclosed by housing other than the busbar trunking OEM shall be unacceptable without written consent of the OEM.

194[i] The conductors shall be made of Electrolytic-Copper (Cu ETP 99.9%- bare copper ) and have a rectangular section uwith full rounded edges

197[F] JOINT
198[i] The electrical and mechanical connection between units shall be made with a special mono-bloc system to provide simultaneous continuity between all conductors. The junction bloc shall be composed of insulation plates made of BMC thermoset and fish plates shall be made of bare copper.[ii] The junction bloc shall be supported by large pressure plates, ensuring a high standard of pressure on the contact surfaces.
199[iii] The junction bloc shall be tightened using bolt(s) (1 to 4 depending on the rating) and the bolt(s) shall be torque indicating and at earth potential.[iv] It shall be possible to remove any joint connection assembly to allow electrical isolation or physical removal of a busbar trunking length without disturbing adjacent busbar trunking lengths.
200[G] PLUG-IN OPENING
201[i] The connecting jaw of a plug-in unit shall plug directly onto the busbar and have full contact with busbar itself. Welded tab at plug-in busbar is unacceptable.[ii] All contact on joint and plug-in opening shall be of copper strip in order to avoid external force damage on busbar while plugging in or plugging out operation.[iii] On plug-in busbar trunking there shall be three dead front, hinged cover type plug-in opening on each side.[iv] All openings shall be usable simultaneously. Busbar trunking shall be installed in such a manner that plugs are side mounted to permit practical use of all plug-in openings. [v] It shall be possible to inspect the plug-in opening and busbars prior to the installation of plug-in units.

206[i] The voltage drop (sending end voltage minus receiving end voltage) specified shall be based on the busway operating at full rated current and stabilized operating temperature in[ii] The 3- Phase line to line voltage drop shall not exceed 3.4 V per 100 feet length at 40% power factor concentrated load which may exist during motor starting.[iii] The line to line voltage drop shall not exceed 4.1 V per 100 feet at the load power factor which produces the maximum voltage drop in the busway.
