5Welding by gas / electric plant including transportation of welding plant at site including cutting, forging & drilling to required shape.
6Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works.(a) M-20 Grade Using concrete mixer.
7Labour for Chipping of concrete surface before taking up Plastering work.
8Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface]. 10Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer"s specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. 11Maintenance of Bituminous surface road i) Repair to pot holes by removal of failed material, trimming the sides to vertical and leveling the bottom, cleaning the same with compressed air or any appropriate method filled with B.M (thickness not more than 75 mm in single layer) applying bitumen emulsion prime coat at the bottom and bitumen emulsion tack coat on sides and on bottom as per technical specifications Clauses 502 and 503 for Rural Roads of MORD.
12Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75, mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of , properly designed foundation with M15 grad, cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm, below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (ii) 60cmX45cm rectangular Measurement= 4nos br. X2nos each side
13Uprooting and removing plants from the surface of walls parapet etc and making good damages.(Repairing of damages to be paid separately).(a) Small plant of girth of exposed stem upto 75 mm. lift upto 6 mtr.
14Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of groundfloor)(a) 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
15Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction.(a) For works in foundation and upto roof of ground floor/upto 4 m(i) Tor steel/Mild Steel I. SAIL/ TATA/RINL
16Cleaning the exposed reinforcement preferably upto full diameter by wire brush, applying two coats of polymer based rust removing compound left for 24 hours, removing the coating and then applying two (2) coats of polymer modified anti corrosive protective coating formulated to inhibit the corrosion of reinforcement as per manufacturer"s specification] [Mode of measurement:The affected surface area of reinforcement shall be considered for payment].
17Providing anti-corrosive protective coating to inhibit the corrosion to HYSD reinforcements including two coats of anticorrosive coatings of consumption as per manufacturer"s specification, cleaning etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge.
18Picking up and removing old bituminous layer or sand sealing coat from old black topped surface and cleaning the exposed surface by scraping and stacking the material as directed.(c) By mechanical means (with milling machine) : Cold milling of Bituminous Pavement surface upto the required depth by mechanical means using milling machine, without disturbing the under laying layers, to proper line and level, cleaning the surface properly after milling and removing the loose materials, stacking the milled materials for re-use, necessary guarding, barricading & lighting, including hire charges of machinery, cost of fuel and labour and other incidental charges all complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (i) For depth upto 100mm
19Tack Coat: Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).On Bituminous Surface(with primer @ 0.225 kg/sqm)
20Providing and laying bituminous concrete with Hot Mix Plant usingcrushed aggregates, filler materials (cement/ hydrated lime/ Rock dust ) and premixed with bituminous binder of specified grading @ 5.2 % (min.) for Gr-1 & @ 5.4% (min.) for Gr-2, as per table 500-17 and mix design done as per table 500-10 and job mix formula as per cl. 505.3.3 including screening, cleaning of chips and preparing a uniform and quality mix , transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mix materials at specified laying temperature as specified in Table 500-2 with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5 including cost and carriage of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, complete as per clause 507 of specifictions for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)A. For Grading 2 (13.2 mm nominal size, 30mm/40 mm thick.) (i) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH.
21Removal of rubbish,earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal / Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge
22Dismantling all types of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m.In ground floor including roof. (a) upto 150 mm. thick
23Supplying. preparing and placement of ready mix non shrink cementious microconcrete having no metalic aggregate or chlorides for repairing andjackting of damaged R.C.C.members. The micro concrete should achieve a compressive strength not less than 10 MPa after 24 hours. 40 Mpaafter 7 days and 50Mpa aftre 28 days at 300C. It should have unrestrained expansion in between 1 to 4%. flexural strength shall not be less than 5MPaafter 28 days. Micro concrete should have a co-efficient of thermal expansion similar to that of the host concrete.
24Applying epoxy mortar ( 10 mm nominal thick) over leached, honey combed and spalled concrete surface and exposed steel reinforcement complete as per Technical specification
25Sealing of cracks / porous concrete by injection process through nipples/Grouting complete as per Technical specification. A Cement Grout
26Providing and inserting nipples with approved fixing compound after drilling holes for grouting as per Technical specifications including subsequent cutting/removal and sealing of the hole as necessary of nipples after completion of grouting with Cement/Epoxy
27Sealing of crack / porous concrete with Epoxy Grout by injection through nipples complete as per clause 2803.1.
28(A) Stitching crack in brick wall by carefully cutting out face brick 125 mm. deep into the wall, cleaning the gap and filling up the same with precast cement concrete block carefully set in cement mortar (1:3) including mending good damages and finishing the surface to match with adjacent areas complete as per direction.(ii) With reinforced cement concrete blocks (1:1½:3) with stone chips and nominal reinforcement. (a) Block size 250 x 125 x 75 mm.
29Supplying and laying chequered tiles of any shade & of approved quality with (1:1½:3) cement concrete laid in panels or patterns as directed in pavement, footpath etc. including necessary underlay 25 mm thick [avg] cement mortar (1:3) complete in all respect with all labour and materials. [Using cement slurry @ 4.4 kg/Sq.m at back side and @2.4 kg/Sq.m for joint filling]
30Cast in Situ Cement Concrete M 20 Kerb with Channel Construction of cement concrete kerb with channel with top and bottom width 115 and 165 mm respectively, 250 mm high in M 20 grade PCC on M10 grade foundation 150 mm thick, kerb channel 300 mm wide, 50 mm thick in PCC M20 grade, sloped towards the kerb, kerb stone with channel laid with kerb laying machine, foundation concrete laid manually, all complete as per clause 409 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labour, hire and usage charges of machinery and all incidental charges in this connection.) A) Using Concrete Mixer
