Tender For Supply And Installation Of “Automated Irrigation Lysimeter Units” Mini Lysimeters Technical Specification Supplying, Installing, and Demonstrating a set of 30 nos of Automatic Minilysimeter Drought Simulator Systems with all the control features and associated software with the following specifications. Scope/objective: Remote monitoring of soil moisture status of potted plants by automated gravimetry and ET interfaced irrigation. The system should consist of a network of strain gauge sensors that continuously weigh container-grown plants for water loss by evapotranspiration. The change in weight should be compensated by an automated ET-interfaced irrigation device. A) A network of minilysimeters capable of measuring real-time changes in evapotranspiration of individual plants grown in containers and integrated automatic watering system to maintain desired levels of soil moisture status. B) A micro-controller system capable of regulating and acquiring real-time data from individual minilysimeters drought simulator systems, individually and in clusters or as desired by the user. C) The complete system should be robust enough for continuous operation in diurnally changing natural field conditions over a entire cropping period. Software to collect, clean, analyse, plot, and represent data with an easy-to-use graphical interface (GUI). Prior experience of compliance is essential. Detailed Technical Specifications. 1) Strain gauge platform Size: 300 mm X 300 mm Mild steel with weatherproof coating. 2) Load cell and strain gauge sensors with Capacity: 0-40 kg, Accuracy: ±5 gm, Operating temperature range: 10°C to 40°C, Wind speed tolerance: 0-5 m/s, Humidity tolerance: 0-85 % . 3) Acquisition of weight data and logging frequency Minimum: At least ONE data point per minute for each Minilysimeter Maximum: Should be as desired by the user on a case-by-case basis with a maximum of 60 data points per minute. 4) Field capacity (FC) range from 100% FC to 20% FC in soils taken in minilysimeters. 5) FC accuracy ±1% of set FC. D) Software specifications with Graphical User Interface (GUI) and display. a. Easy to use GUI. b. The software should visualize the entire network of MLMs. c. The software should be capable of multistep programming of individual MLM or virtual clusters of MLMs for maintaining specified FC for a specified duration. d. The software should create and manage multiple virtual groups of MLMs comprising of MLMs). There should be a provision in the software to program a drought plan for each virtual group irrespective of the experiment running on the other cluster of MLMs. e. Should have the ability to interrupt and redefine drought plans for individual or grouped MLMs during the experiment. f. The software should impose specified dry-down mechanisms through accurate recognition of real-time changes in FC in individual MLM or a virtual cluster of MLMs. g. The software should display details of a desired MLM’s number, current weight, and current FC. h. The data should be stored in a database and should be easily accessible to the user between any two desired time points. i. The queried data should be presented in a worksheet/ spreadsheet which can be easily converted to an excel worksheet for further analysis. j. Ability to access Mini-Lysimeter controls and graphs via a tablet/smartphone. 1 SET Online UPS 1 KVA For 4 Hrs Backup • Input Voltage - 1 Phase, 230 V, 50 Hz, • Output Voltage – 1 Phase, 230 V, 50Hz.  Lead acid Batteries with racks. Wi-fi to capture data. MLM sever with software Loaded. 01 Rain out shelter (ROS). ROS provides shelter during rain and night times to the minilysimeter grown plants at the MLM based Phenomics platform. The dimensions of the phenomics facility covered by the ROS is of 5.5 m in length and 5 m in width. The ROS structure includes 5 curved purlins made of 25 mm Nominal Bore (NB) pipes supported by the same gauge of pipe for entire length of 10 metres. The structure is supported by 4 number of castor wheels on each side. The wheels run on 75 mm X 40 mm X 5 mm C-channels for a total length of 11 m. C-Channels placed on length of 11 m be provided for erecting the ROS. Water level should be used to ensure exact parallel placement of the C-channels with absolutely no slope at all by using 150 X 150 X 6 mm MS plates. The distance between two plates should be 2 m. In all there should be 14 nos plates. All these plates are grouted on a 40 mm OD pipe. The ROS structure must be covered by translucent FRP sheets with a total area of 27.5 m2 with necessary reinforcement.
