Tender For Piling Work For New Hot Metal Track From Bf-2 To Bf-1 1 27019398 10 10 20 P/B REINF BARS HYSD GRADE FE500 / FE500D 975 TO 50 PILE INTEGRITY TEST INCL ALL ACCESSORIES 2,500 NO 40 PILE ROUTINE VERTICAL LOAD TEST 5 NO 30 PILE BORING - 600MM DIA. 47,500 M 10 PROVIDING & LAYING RCC M30 13,423.5 M3 Email : MAHIMA.CHAUDHARY@AMNS.IN Contact : Name : Mahima Chaudhary Item Details : Item Note : Scope of Work- Vendor: - The scope of work shall include but not limited to the following: • All the activities of planning, procurement, supplying and timely execution of Piling works pertaining to proposed hot metal track with complete scope required to complete the above stated job is in contractor scope. • The specific gravity and composition of the fluid shall be such as to suit the requirements of the ground conditions and to maintain the fine materials from the boring in suspension. • Boring of any pile must be completed in one continuous operation without interruption. In case such interruptions are unavoidable, steps shall be taken to prevent the collapse of sides of the boreholes. • The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible in the event of bore collapse due to any reason. At the discretion of the OWNER, re-boring or additional bores shall be carried out at no extra cost. If additional pile is driven and extra material is consumed due to strengthening of cap etc. such material and any other expenses shall be to CONTRACTOR’s account. • The tremie pipes and funnel shall be filled and lifted just 15 cm above bottom before releasing the concrete column to facilitate flushing out the bottom. The concrete levels in the tremie shall be checked every few metres in order to note the difference, if any, between the theoretical quantity that should have been placed and actual quantity that has gone in. This is to locate the position of over–cut or caving in during boring. • Placing of concrete should be continuous and the tremie pipe should be held concentric in the hole. Special care shall be taken regarding compaction of concrete in the top section of the pile. Concrete shall be placed and compacted until green concrete is obtained above the cut off level. Any excess concrete above cut off level will be dismantled neatly up to the cut off level, removing all cracked, loose and unbound concrete with no extra cost. Top surface of pile shall be kept rough. • All safety norms will be strictly followed by agency as per AM/NS Safety Policy. • Breaking of RCC Road concrete as per requirement will be in contractor scope. • Breaking of Hard surface (construction debris, slag, LF etc.) from ground level will be in contractor scope. • All the activities with complete scope required to complete the job is in contractor scope. • RCC, Rebar and any other construction material to be used should be of approved make as per AMNS/ EIC and necessary test certificates to be provided. • The Contractor shall furnish the Employer with a copy of the manufacturers test records according to which the reinforcing steel shall be identified by numbers or standard identification marks. Reinforcing steel that cannot be so identified shall be tested for compliance as directed by the Engineer at the Contractors expense. • Consistency of concrete to be used for bored cast in-situ piles shall be consistent with the method of installation of piles. Concrete shall be so designed or chosen as to have a homogeneous mix having a
