1A. Field Data Studies Carying out Topographical survey on 1:1000 scale with total station equipment. The work includes mapping of the slide boundary,demarcation of surface rockout crops and characterization of overburden and marking major topographical features such as nallas/fishers circumventing the slide zone. Fixing of bench Mark (BM) at the suitable location & preparation of drawing in AUTOCAD format.
2Carrying out Geological and structural setting analysis as per IRC HBR Special Report 23of the area including carrying out geological mapping in 1:1000 scaleto infer jointing dip and direction, discontinuities, bedding planes,overburden cover constituted in slide area including preparing cross-sections & preparation of drawing in AUTOCAD format
3Carrying out Hydrological Studies for identifying, surface drainage patterns, existing water features in and around the area, ground water condition of the area. Assessment of soil/formation and effect of topography and drainage water conditions at regional and local level. Assement of fall or rise in ground water levels with respect to time.
4Seismic Refraction Survey including data acquisition, data processing for deciding suitability of lanslide location and also for interperation of strata at different depths. The work includes survey work for picking up co-ordinates of the geophones locations; service of engineers, scientists, surveyors, draftmens, CAD operators, labours & helpers and others as specified by engineer - in - charge.
5Carrying Electrical resistivity test for evaluating ground water level and its variation along with subsurface stratification, ground profiling by Schlumberger four electrode method including submission of comprehensive report with interpreted results for layer thickness and resistivities in triplicate. The test is to be conducted as per IS:1892 -1979 (Reaffirmed in 2002), IS:15736-2007 (Reaffirmed in 2012) covering whole plan area upto depth of exploration100m - 150m below existing ground level.
6B. Geotechnical Investigation Mobilisation and demobilisation ofsuitable boring plant and all other allied equipments like Minimum 2 boring rigs or as required numberof boring rigs to complete the job in time, survey equipments and all other insitu tests equipmentsand manpower required to complete the scope of this work.
7Drilling vertically through all type of strata, using Nx size diamond bit, using double tube core barrel with suitable core catcher, including collection and logging of cores, placing them in approved wooden core boxes as per relevant IS numbering each core, noting the lithology, colour photographs (100X150mm size) of rock cores, locking arrangements, labeling and transporting the boxes to core store/laboratory as directed by EIC etc., all as per specifications for the following depths measured from existing ground level and collection of ground water samples for evaluation of ground water level and their variation as per IS:1892-1979 (reaffirmed in 2002), IS:6935-1973(reaffirmed in 2012) from each borehole at specified depths (minimum 1 litre) including all provisions of sampling, packing, sealing and labeling as specified and including handling charges etc. All as per specifications. 0 m to 50 m. 8Conducting In-situ Pump-in Permeability test by double packer cyclic method in weathered and hard rock of 3m test section upto maximum presssure of 10Kg/sq.cm, all as per IS: 5529 (Part 2)-2006 to evaluate permeability. Each unit of this item shall consist of a series of tests with pressure of three(3) equal increments to the maximum and three(3) equal decrements etc., as per specifications. The test is to be conducted in specified boreholes
9C. Laboratory Test on Soil Sample Determination of Grain size distribution,percent fines of soil sample by conducting Grain Sieve analysis & Hydrometer analysis as per IS:2720(PART 4) -1985(Reaffirmed in 2006). The test is to be conducted on one or more DS(disturbed sample ) & UDS(undisturbed sample) collected from each bore hole
10Determination of soil classification, identification, evaluating percent fines as per IS:1498-1970(Reaffirmed in 2007).
11Determination of Specific gravity by Pycnometer method test as per IS2720 (Part III/Sec1 or Sec2 )-1980 (reaffirmed in 2002)
12Determination of Natural Moisture Content from UDS/DS by oven drying method as per IS : 2720(Part II) - 1973
13Determination of Liquid limit, plastic limit atterberg limits and plasticity index of soil sample as per IS: 2720 (part5)-1985 Reaffirmed in 2006.
14Determination of Shrinkage limit and shrinkage ratio of soil sample as per IS: 2720 (part-VI)-1972 Reaffirmed in 2001.
15Carrying out Direct Shear Test (for cohesionless soil) as per IS:2720 (Part 13)-1986 reaffirmed 2002) to evaluate Cohesion and Angle of internal friction
16Carrying out Triaxial Shear Test (UUT) (for cohesion soil) as per IS:2720 (Part 11)-1993(Reaffirmed 2002) to evaluate Cohesion and Angle of internal friction
17Carrying out Consolidation test as per IS:2720 (Part 15)-1965(Reaffirmed 2002) to evaluate consolidation properties of soil
18Carrying out Proctor Density Test as per IS:2720 (Part 7)-1980 to evaluate Bulk density, Dry Density, Optimum Moisture Content. The test is to be conducted on one or more DS (undisturbed sample ) collected from each borehole.
19Carrying out California Bearing Ratio on DS sample as per IS:2720 (Part 13)-1987. The test is to be conducted on one or more DS (undisturbed sample ) collected from each borehole
20Carrying out Chemical analysis of sub soil samples to evaluate chemical characteristics of soil including pH,Sulphates(SO3&SO4), chloride and nitrate contents,organic matter, chemicals salinity and any other chemicals harmful to the foundation material as per IS: 2720 (Part 23,24,25,26 and 27) in an approved laboratory

30Preparation and submission of draft report and final report containing geological information of the region, procedures adopted for investigations, field observations, summarized test data, conclusion and recommendations. The report shall include detailed bore logs, sub-soil sections, field test results in both tabular as well as graphical forms, 1-D, 2-D & 3-D model of sub- surface electrical resistivity with depth, supporting calculations for the conclusions drawn etc. The report should include the following details/plots/diagrams in addition to the above: 1) Litholog of each bore hole along with borehole correlation studies of lithology, RQD, RMR, total no of fracture in run, inclination wise no of fractures etc.2) 3D RQD model using run wise RQD data of all boreholes. 3) Tables showing thickness and depth of distinct weak zones observed in individual boreholes. 4) Ground water table map. 5) Electrical resistivity sections for all the locations. Submission of geotechnical investigation report
31E. Design and Analysis Preparation of design and analysis report using geotechnical numerical analysis softwares. All the inputs parameter required shall be drived from detailed geotechnical report. The work shall include perparation of construction drawings, detailed specification, construction methodology, material specifications etc,. The work shall also include preparation of detailed cost Estimate of the project with detailed BOQ and basis of cost estimate all complete.
