Note :- Nothing extra will be paid to the contractor in this account if hard or rocky soil is encoutered during the execution.
13Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
14Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
15Material & Labourfor cutting of existing hard standing/road up to 15 cm depth for laying of pipe lines and making good the disturbed surfaces by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) after laying of pipes lines and returning filling of soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work below hard standing will be measured and paid under relevant items.
16Supply and fix in replacement of 100mm dia bore tubes, "light grade" galvanized, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls/ poles or laid in trenches/ floors for cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

19Supply and Laying of 50mm outer dia, double wall corrugated HDPE pipe confirming to IS-14930 Part-II with antirodent and non flame propogating properties of approved colour laid in trenches/ floors/ duct or fixed on wall/ pole including all connections, accessories like socket, couplers, bends etc for protection of LT XLPE Cable grade 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

21M&L for Trimming of tree branches around the LT overhead conductor, poles (not less than 3 mtr) to clear the approach of overhead including removing of nest, wild grass creepers, unwanted vagetation etc from pole/ stay including cleaning of creepers climbed on poles and angles, channels and disposal off from site beyond 50 mtr and up 250 mtr complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note : span of 30 m to 50 m shall be considered as one unit.
22Material and labour for Surface dressing not exc 15cm deep in any type of soil and site clearance including cutting and removing of plants/bushes, leveling of surface area, throw wastage material out of fencing area/ compound wall up to 50m distance at sub station areas / pump House areas complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23M&L for earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connecting to GI strip 32x6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel and earth wire protected by 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade and connected to pole structure/ panel board/earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I(2009) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The unit rate quoted shall also include for excavation, earth work in any type of soil, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 mix type B1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm C/C both ways, GI funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh, protection pipe, earth strip up to 7.50m long complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub heading earthing, specified in SSR Part II
24Material and Labour for repair of existing deteriorated earth pit and re- construct new earth pit of size 450mm x 450mm inside dimension and 300mm deep with bricks masonary of 1:4 ratio cement mortar and provide inside and outside cement plaster 10mm thick (1:4 Cement mortar) with RCC top cover as per earth pit 100mm thick and provide GI funnel for watering complete with two coat of white colour weather coat and marking with black colour (Earth No.1) earth number complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
25Material and labour for taking out complete existing deteriorated lightning protection fixed on roof (Horizontally) , fix on wall of various unit location at Chandimandir including GI/Aluminium, Aluminium Air Terminal pointer, test point terminal box, insulator and re-fix on same position after removing deteriorated strip/pointer and replace with new GI/Aluminium strip and pointer including insulator, making the hole in GI/Al strip, bending etc and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The cost of the insulator will be included in the laying in GI/Aluminium strip. (ii) The distance between insulators will be 75cm. (iii) GI/Aluminium strip will be measured and paid separately. (iv) Two nuts and bolts will have to be provided on each joint. cost of nut bolts shall be deemed to included in quoted rates. (v) Welding work will not be permitted anywhere in GI strip.

38Taking down old unserviceable ACB any type andSupply, installation testing and commissioning new LT ACB of 800 Amps,four pole, manual draw out with thermal magnetic release based, 415 Volts, 50 Hz suitable for existing location alongwith replacement ofburnt aluminum bus bar with connected nut bolts and lugs with new aluminum bus bar /nut bolts/lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
39Taking down old unserviceable ACB any type andSupply, installation testing and commissioning new LT ACB of 1000 Amps, four pole, manual draw out with thermal magnetic release based, 415 Volts, 50 Hz suitable for existing location alongwith replacement ofburnt aluminum bus bar with connected nut bolts and lugs with new aluminum bus bar /nut bolts/lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
40Shutdown the power supply, disconnecting all incoming & outgoing cables carefully from outdoor type LT panel board, removing the burnt wiring, cleaning the bus bars, insulators and MCCBs with CTC, meggering the insulation value and replacing the bus bar supporting insulators wherever required to achieve required insulation resistance value, tightening all fasteners (renew if required), reconnecting back the incoming and outgoing cables with suitable cable Lugs, glands and wrapping the insulation tape on all bare conductors, supply and fixing EPDM rubber gasket for all doors for dust & vermin proofetc and testing on completion for proper functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Replacement of unserviceable MCCBs shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Replacement of broken/corroded metal sheets/ angle iron parts of panel boards shall be measured and paid separately.
41Material and labour for replacement of old and deteriorated MS sheet of any size and shape from the outdoor/indoor panel 3.00 mm thick and fix on outdoor/indoor panel as per required size and shape complete inclusive fixing the hinges, door lock etc, including two coat of super enamelled paint as per existing colour over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
42M & L for Preparation of old steel surfaces of outdoor type LT panel boards of any size and painting with One coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour (both internally & externally) and fixing 02 Nos steel danger plates on panel board complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
43Supply and fix in replacement of On-Load Changeover switch 4 Pole, 315A, 415 Volts, AC, 50 Hzin sheet Metal enclosure with front operated handle complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Complete panel board shall be applied with powder coat painting of approved shade duly pretreated with seven tank process and suitable packing material for IP-54 degree of protection and including provision of 50mm x 50mm x 6mm angle iron base frame of suitable size for mounting the panel board with a minimum ground clearance of 450mm above GL to the bottom of panel including PCC foundation with PCC 1:3:6, type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate.
54Detachable gland plates including double compression stainless steel cable glands of suitable size shall be provided for all incoming and outgoing cables. Steel plate Danger Notice Boards (02Nos) LT 415/440 Volts, and manufacturer"s name plate shall be riveted on external doors of feeder pillar box. The size of panel board shall not be less than 2000mm x 1500mm x 800mm (outer dimensions) for accommodating and including provision of following switchgear, control gear and accessories including internal wiring using copper flexibles and lugs of suitable grade/capacityincluding taking down old unserviceable Feeder Pillar Box of any description complete all as specified and directed :-
55(i) Bus bar : TPN Aluminium bus bar of suitable rating provided with heat shrinkable coloured PVC sleeves insulation mounted on insulators for main bus bar and from main bus bar to outgoing MCCB"s and outgoing MCCB"s up to cable termination etc complete. (The rating of main bus bar shall be 1.5 times of ampere rating of incomer and outgoing bus bar rating shall be 1.5 times of ampere rating of each outgoing MCCB.) and continuous earth bus with GI strip of suitable size capable for carrying full short circuit current for 1 sec shall be provided at bottom of the panel.
