| 2 | Providing and laying 3 mm thick polymer modified prefabricated bituminous waterproofing membraneover roofs of buildings as per the technicalspecifications & details given in Scope of Work. The rate shall include for the following activities :(a) Surface preparation by wire brushes and cleanig to remove all loose particles, dirt, etc. from the roof surface complete.(b)Application of modified bitumenous primer @ 1.00 Ltr. Per 5.00 Sq. M. (on an average basis).(c)Laying of 3 mm thick polymer modified bituminous waterproofing membrane, each strip to have at least 100mm overlapping at longitudinal edges as well as at the ends including installing / fixing bythermofusion by gas torch.Proper sealing of overlaps shall be done by thermofusion & hot trowelling, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.The rate shall include for erection and removal of staging / scaffolding wherever required complete.(d) Application of bitumenous aluminium paint @ 0.10 Ltr./ Sq.M. (one or more coats).Note : Measurements shall be taken for finished area only. |
