| 1 | Repair of Insulated chiller water tank of 2000 litres capacity for main AC chiller plant installed at the terrace of GMCH, Jammu by cutting the water supply to the tank by shuttering of the main butterfly valve and draining of all the water in the tank. Then removing the tank from its installed position by removing all the inlet and outlet water connections and removing all the plaster and chicken wire mesh along with thermocol from the outer surface of the MS tank. Then cleaning all the surface of the tank with wire brush to remove the traces of thermocol from all sides. Then all the rusted/worn out sheets are to be removed by machine cutter/gas welding process and new sheets of same size and thickness (8mm) are to be fitted in same position by electric welding process in two layers of welding to make water proof joints. Then water is filled in tank and tested for water leakage and if leakage is there then again one more layer of welding is to be done. After that the tanks outer surface is fixed with nitrile rubber insulation on all the six sides of the tank and allowed to dry. Then the tank is positioned on the platform and inlet and outlet connection fitted. The rusted/worn out MS chiller pipe line 4 inch dia of 26 feet length is cut from its leaking portion with help ofmachine cutter/gas welding and new MS Pipe isis fitted in its place by electric welding process by welding 2 layers on joints and checked for leakage of water if any by filling water in the system. Then the replaced pipe is fixed with thermocol on all over its surface with help of special adhesive paintand then cladding of Aluminium sheet of 26 SWG is fitted all over it with help of special machine and star bolts.The job includes cost of material, labour charges, hire charges of tools and tackles and all the taxes as applicable.
