| 5 | Supply and placing of cablejoint marker at each joint locations in the route with concrete tile of 50 mm thickx500mm widthx1000mm length with necessary engraving as directed. |
| 6 | Excavationof cable trench in soil for the purpose of re-jointing / re-routing cable for obtaining loop for cable jointing. The excavated soil shall be refilled after completion of work. Scope of work also involves removal of cable chamber blocks if required. |
| 7 | Construction of cable joint chamber using cement blocks without plastering. Solid block masonry in cement mortar 1:5 using good quality cement blocks approved by the Engineer in charge .All the items such as cement block, cement, sand etc. shall be arranged by the contractor. |
| 8 | Plastering with cement mortar 1:4, for an average thicknessof 12mm. |
| 9 | Laying of XLPE, 11 kV/3.3kV PVC grade armoured bit cable ( 3 x 240 sqmm to 3 x 400 sqmm )with Aluminium conductors through the newly excavated cable trenches or in cable tray, for achieving sufficient length to join cable: Supply of cables are under FACT scope. The scope of work includes taking delivery of the cable from its storage place inside the company. Heavy Equipment support like Fork Lift / Cranes / Lorry / Tailor etc.. for loading, unloading and transporting of cables from store to site shall be arranged by the contractor. |
