1Charges for replacing the new/ reconditioned shaft seal assembly in compressor of various capacities at various locations of unit I to V, and switch yard. Dismantling of compressor pulley/ coupling after pump down the refrigerant gas form the compressor, removing the shaft seal cover and shaft seal assembly in the crank shaft, reassembling of all the removed parts, aligning, leak testing, vacuumising and commissioning of compressor.
2Charges for overhauling the Unit I, II & III Kirloskar compressor [6 cylinder reciprocating open type] (Cap: 50 Ton) compressor by decoupling of the compressor from motor,removing the compressor both side end cover, cylinder head covers, crank shaft assembly after removing oil pipe lines, piston assembly, connecting rod assembly, oil pump assembly, replacing/renewing the worn out parts, reassembling all the parts in compressors after checking the clearance of the piston reeds in cylinder and correct movement of the piston in cylinders, topping up the oil level, conducting leak test and commissioning as per the direction of engineer in charge.
3Charges for overhauling the Switch yard I Kirloskar compressor [4 cylinder reciprocating open type compressor] Capacity:20 Ton compressor by decoupling of the compressor from motor,removing the compressor both side end cover, cylinder head covers, crank shaft assembly after removing oil pipe lines, piston assembly, connecting rod assembly, oil pump assembly, replacing/renewing the worn out parts, reassembling all the parts in compressors after checking the clearance of the piston reeds in cylinder and correct movement of the piston in cylinders, topping up the oil level, conducting leak test and commissioning as per the direction of engineer in charge.
4Charges for overhauling the Unit IV & V Kirloskar compressor [14 cylinder reciprocating open type direct coupled compressor] Capacity: 120 Ton compressor by decoupling of the compressor from motor,removing the compressor both side end cover, cylinder head covers, crank shaft assembly after removing oil pipe lines, piston assembly, connecting rod assembly, oil pump assembly, replacing/renewing the worn out parts, reassembling all the parts in compressors after checking the clearance of the piston reeds in cylinder and correct movement of the piston in cylinders, topping up the oil level, conducting leak test and commissioning as per the direction of engineer in charge.
5Charges for cleaning of expansion valves, liquid line filters if any chocking noticed in air handling units. Removing the expansion valves, liquid line filters, admitting nitrogen gas for cleaning the liquid line, filters and expansion valves and re-fixing in liquid lines, leak testing and commissioning.
6Material Cost:[Contractor’s Scope] Expansion valve 5Ton capacity make: Donfoss / equivalent inlet 3/8” outlet 5/8”
7Charges for transporting the R22 gas cylinders from stores/ pocket stores to site. Attending gas leak, if any suspected in AC compressors & air handling units, arresting gas leaks in refrigerant gas & liquid lines and charging of gas in AC plant equipments at Stage I, II & III. [Charges including adopters for gas cylinders and other consumables]
8Charges for decoupling of the compressor from motor,removing the head covers, draining the oil from compressor, renewing the damaged parts like pistons/ discharge valve assembly /suction reeds, re-assembling the removed parts, topping-up of oil / leak testing and commissioning at Units I to V and switch yard AC compressors.
9Charges for changing of new/old (tested) pressure gauges [LP/OP/HP] in compressors due to failure [or] damage, leak testing of gas, leak arresting if any and commissioning.
10Charges for replacement of failed 5 Ton capacity compressor in packaged AC units by new / re-operated compressor in the event of any failure, flushing the suction and discharge gas lines with nitrogen gas, Brazing the gas line with the compressor. Complete assembling work, leak testing, leak arresting (if any) and commissioning at ESP I to III, Conference hall, Service building, DCS I & IIPackaged AC units.
11Charges for the replacement/renewing of copper tubes, ferrules, flare nuts etc., if any puncture in copper tubes, failure of flare nuts were observed. The cost includes leak testing and commissioning of packaged AC units at ESP I to III, Conference hall, Service building, DCS I & DCS II AC Plant.
12Charges for dismantling the ‘V’ belt, removing all filters from fixing frames, dismantling the filters fixing frames, supply air dampers if necessary, opening the AHU casing on either side and top, to facilitate to inject the de-scaling compound on the cooling coil. After completion of works reassembling the AHU casing, filter fixing frames, arresting of air leaks, fixing of ‘V’ belts and aligning, re- fixing of all filters in fixing frames and commissioning of AHUs at Unit I to V, Switchyard I & II and UPS-V as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
13Charges for applying the chemical compound in between the fins and outer surface of cooling coil by hand pump to inject the compound deeply inside the fins and tubes to soak scaling particles and loosen the deposits & scales from surface of fins and tubes, servicing the coil with water by compressor pump repeatedly to complete removal of the scaling of Air handling units at Units I to V, Switch yard I & II and USP – V as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
14Material Cost:[Contractor’s Scope] DE-Scaling Compound
15Charges for dismantling the diffusers and return air grills from false ceiling, cleaning, painting and re- fixing, fixing in the false ceiling of control rooms at unit I to V, ESP I to V, Conference hall, Service building, Switchyard I & II, DCS I & II and UPS V.
