1Providing and laying 65 mm thick Wearing Course consisting of 40mm thick bituminous concrete over25mm thick bitumen mastic layer complete as per Technical Specifications Clause 2702. Including Removal of existing Asphaltic concrete wearing coatof all layers complete in all depths, in all repectincluding its disposal complete as per Technical Specification without causing any detrimental effect to any part of the bridge structure and removal of dismantled material with all lifts and lead and lift by transport mechenically, by labour. The whole responsibility forproper disposal of dismantelled material up to dumping site shall be of contractor and dumping site shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. No extra shall be paid to the contractor. Duringexecution it shall be the responsibility of contractor to regulate the traffic on road by making all necessaryarrangements at his own levelby deploying sufficient staff and by taking all safety measures including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Charge
2Drainage Spouts replacement Removing the existing spouts, including the treating of finished surfaces with Polymer modifiedrepair mortar and Fixing of Drainage spouts as per section 2705 of MORTH complete.Including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same.
3Repairing the spalled surfaces of concrete with Polymer Modified Repair Mortar This Item shall include Removal of Loose concreteup to 20mm beyond reinforcement and saw cut the repair area in proper geometric shapes in order to avoid feather edging, also including treating the exposed reinforcement with alkaline rusted remover and then treating the steel with epoxy based zinc rich anti corrosive over the steel rebars. The zinc rich primer shall be applied at 40 microns dry film thickness and shall have salt spray resistance of <5 mg for 96 hours as per ASTM B-117 and adhesive bond strength > 1.5 MPa as per ASTM D4541. Also includingthe application of bonding agent of solvent free epoxy based two component resin system . The bonding agent shall be applied by brush & should remain in tacky state after application for a minimum period of 5-6 hrs at 20 deg C & 2-3 hrs at 30 deg C. The product shall achieve 50 N/mm2 compressive strength, 20 N/mm2 tensile strength, 35 N/mm2 flexural strength and 10 N/mm2 shear strength as per BS 6319 standards. The adhesive bond to the concrete substrate shall exceed the tensile strength of the host concrete. Includes Applying dual shrinkage compensated fibre reinforced polymer modified repair mortar on the prepared surface and curing with water or curing compound. The repair mortar used shall have single component shall be mixed with water at water powder ratio of 0.16 and shall have drying shrinkage < 300 microstrain as per ASTM C 157-93; permeability < 5mm as per DIN 1048 Part 5 ; compressive strength > 70 MPa ; Flexural Strength > 9Mpa as per BS 6319 ; RCPT < 1800 Coulumbs and Class A1 fire rating as per EN 1504-3 Cl 5.5 Also includes curing with water based curing compound. Water based curing compound shall be spray applied at coverage of 3.5 to 5 sqm/ litre and shall havewater loss < 0.55 kg/sqm as per ASTM C 156 , reflectance > 60% and drying time < 4 hours, etc. complete including shuttering, all kind of necessary staging in all heights and other safety requirement during execution. Before execution of item all the materials to be got testifiedfrom approved Lab and during execution and afterececutin all requisit tests to be conducted . The cost of all requist tests shall be born by the contractor. Item Including all leads and lifts complete in all respect. all kind of necessary staging in all heights and other safety requirement during execution shall born by the cotractor. Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Charge
4Crack Repair with Low Viscous Epoxy Injection Preparing"v" groove along length of crack, removing all dust and loose particles and placing injection portsat spacing of 200 to 500mm depending on porosity of substrate, sealing the cracks with epoxy putty followed by pressure grouting with low viscous solvent free two component epoxy resin having density of 1050 kg/m3. The epoxy injecting materials shall have viscosity < 0.6 poise as per ASTM D1200, compressive strength > 80 MPa as per ASTM D 695 and bond strength > 4 MPa as per ASTM C882 , etc., complete including shuttering, staging and other safety requirement during execution. Including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Charge.Before execution of item all the materials to be got testifiedfrom approved Lab and during execution and afterececutin all requisit tests to be conducted . The cost of all requist tests shall be born by the contractor. Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same .
5Bearing Replacement with new POT - PTFE Bearings Bearing replacement including lifting of super structure, keeping in position, providing required pedestals, installing bearings as per manufacturers requirement, drawings and specifications complete including shuttering, staging and other safety requirement during execution. Providing and applying two part epoxy based thixotropic grout having mixed density of 1.72 g/cc and shall attain compressive strength of 40 Mpa in 1 day and 60Mpa in 7 days ; tensile strength of 35 Mpa at 7 days. The grout shall be grouted for thickness based on the design of pedestal. The bearing grout used shall be compliant with ASTM C 881 Type 1 Grade 2, Class C. Including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. The material to be got testified well before execution by the contractor at his own cost. Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same.
6Expansion joint replacement with Strip seal type expansion joint Providing and laying of a strip seal expansion joint catering to maximum horizontal movement up to 70 mm,complete as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer/ supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer"s instructions for installation and as per relevant clauses of section 2600. Including Removing the concrete at edges of deck slab at expansion joint location for about 300mm on either side, exposingall the reinforcements, etc, complete. And Treating the exposed reinforcement with alkaline rust remover and then treat the steel with epoxy based zinc rich anti corrosive over the steel rebars. The microconcrete used shall achieve compressive strength of 50 Mpa at 28 days, Flexural Strength of 5 Mpa at 28, young"s modulus of 25 kN/mm2 and shall be "Class A1" fire rating as per EN 1504 Cl 5.5, etc., completeincluding shuttering, staging and other safety requirement during execution. The material testing to be got done by the contractor at his own cost . Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same.
7Dismantling/Replacement of damaged Concrete railing. Item includes dismantling RCC railings , existing safety jafriand re reinforcement of railings ,its concrete inon shrink concrete shall be single component free flowing, cementitious microconrete used at water powder ratio of 0.16, having mixed density of 2100 - 2200 kg/m3 and unrestrained expansion of 1 to 4% as per ASTM C827. The microconcrete used shall achieve compressive strength of 50 Mpa at 28 days, Flexural Strength of 5 Mpa at 28, young"s modulus of 25 kN/mm2 and shall be "Class A1" fire rating as per EN 1504 Cl 5.5, etc., complete including shuttering, staging and other safety requirement during execution. comlete includes steel reinforcement@ factor150 kgper Cumand refixing of safety jafriin all respect. 8Concreting Providing non shrink concrete for slabs of 300mm thick on piers including the reinforcement of Tor 16mm dia at 150c/c on both directions on both faces including shuttering, curing etc., complete. The non shrink concrete shall be single component free flowing, cementitious microconrete used at water powder ratio of 0.16, having mixed density of 2100 - 2200 kg/m3 and unrestrained expansion of 1 to 4% as per ASTM C827. The microconcrete used shall achieve compressive strength of 50 Mpa at 28 days, Flexural Strength of 5 Mpa at 28, young"s modulus of 25 kN/mm2 and shall be "Class A1" fire rating as per EN 1504 Cl 5.5, etc., including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Chargeshuttering, staging and other safety requirement during execution. Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same.
9Masonry pointing on walls and other surfaces in Cement Mortar 1:4 ( One cemnet : 4 Cement ) in all heights including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Charge and its scafolding. Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same.
10Replacementand after replacementProvidingprecast reinforced concrete footpath Slabs pannels in RCCofM-50 Grade includes designed steel reinforcement up to 150 kg per cumhaving thickness of 100mmin size and shapeas per site requirements. Including all leads and lifts , its staging , form workand as per the directions of Engineer in Charge Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same.
11Clearing Linear Water way ( Removal of vegitation from the bridge and its sides) including all leadsand liftsand as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same.
12Cutting and removal of rock as per sitehitting the bridge piers using onlymanual means blastingand chemical prohibitedincludingdisposalin a truck and carrying of excavated material to embankment site with a lift upto all leads and liftas per Technical Specification Clause 302.3.5.Rates are inclusive of remova;l of rock by manual means and its safe disposal of waste material Item includes all necessary staging scaffolding , centring and shuttering up to all heights and depth nothing shall be paid extra for the same including all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer in Charge.
