    The Brief Scope Of Work Covers Re-Metalling, Reconditioning And Replacement Of Cooling Water Jackets Of Released Two ( 2 ) Nos. Turbine Guide Bearing Shells Of Sharavathy Generating Station. Noting The Scheme Of Dimensional Arrangements, Measure The Distortion And Ovality / Run-Out On Top And Bottom Portion Of The Existing Bearings. Metal Spraying Through Eutectic Process By Eutalloy Torch Method, Achieve The Better Concentricity And Roundness Of The Shells. Achieve The Correct Diameter Without Distortion And Ovality Of Tgb Shells By Machining. Re-Babbitting And Machining Of Complete Tgb Shells As Per The Existing Scheme Of Arrangement. Make Oil Grooves And Surface Tapering As Per Drawing, Cleaning, Plugging The Holes And Arrest The Water Leakage In The Water Jackets And Pressure Test At 5Kg / Cm2. Scrapping, Cleaning And Painting Of Fresh Anticorrosion Oil Resistant Paint On Outer Surface Of The Shells. Suitability Checking Of Tgb Shells Has To Be Carried Out At Sgs In Co-Ordination With Kpcl. Detailed Specification And Scope Of Work Is Furnished In Section - Iii - Technical Specifications And Scope Of Work Attached In The E-Portal.
