Specifications for Understructure: All side metal frames and cross connectors shall made from combination of 25.4 x1.2 mm thk (approx. 18 SWG) Round ERW tubes, 31.8 x 1.2 mm thk (approx. 18 SWG) Round ERW tubes and 28.6 x 1.2 mm thk (approx. 18 SWG) Round ERW tubes (As per IS:7138) which should welded together. The Welded structures and cross connectors are coated with min. 45 micron thickness of epoxy polyester coating. Back supports which shall provided at the rear back should made of 50.8 x 25.4 x 1.2 mm thk (approx. 18 SWG) rectangular ERW tubes (As per IS:7138). The tubes shall coated with min. 45 micron thickness of epoxy polyester coating. The storage shelves shall made from 0.6 mm thk MS sheet (As per IS:513) fixed below the desk top panel and shall coated with min. 45 micron thickness of epoxy polyester coating. Hooks shall provided on the vertical side frames on both sides of the desk for hanging bags/bottles. They shall made from 2 mm thk MS sheet (As per IS:513) and are coated with min. 45 micron thickness of epoxy polyester coating. The understructure shall assemble using M6 trilobular screws (As per DIN 7500) with Zn blue plating (As per IS 1573:1986). Spacers shall provided on the top of round tubes for wooden panels fixing. They shall made of PP Glass filled (30%). Plastic Caps made of PP copolymer (3530 Grade) shall also provided on the rear frames adding more aesthetic value to the product. M6 high tensile TVS make bolt (Class 8.8) with glass filled nylon level adjustors shall provided at the bottom of understructure to take care of unevenness in floor with height adjustment of approx. 15mm. The manufacturer should be a member of BIFMA & IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) & should have AIOTA, GRIHA, Green Pro, IAQ and Green Guard Certification (from UL) for few of its products. Other certificates ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 50001:2018 are mandatory. All the ISO certificates should be obtained from NABCB (National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies) accredited organization otherwise certificates will not be accepted.
