| 11 | Degutting of DG SW cooler and remove the cooler from the place |
| 12 | Check the oil clearance of drive and non drive end white metal bearing |
| 13 | Turn the alternator from the place and keep it on the foundation |
| 14 | Remove the NDE & DE side cover of the alternator |
| 15 | Remove the rotor from the alternator |
| 16 | Clean the stator and rotor by feed water with HP pump, heat it and wash with REXOL, heat and improve insulation to desired ohmic value, apply varnish on rotor and stator and record the values. |
| 17 | Fit the rotor in to the stator with due care |
| 18 | Fit the coupling of the alternator |
| 19 | Turn the alternator in position |
| 20 | Fit the white metal bearing bottom half of NDE and DE of the alternator |
| 21 | Carryout the bedding of the alternator vibro mount |
| 22 | Carryout the alignment and offer the inspection to the QC |
| 23 | Fit the top bearing of DE & NDE and carryout the oil clearance and ensure it is with in the limit |
| 24 | Carryout the alignment check once again and confirm |
| 25 | Couple the engine with alternator |
| 26 | Regutting of ventilation trunking with OBBM cooler (Trunking size: 800mm x 450mm x 1m) (Cooler: 2.5m x 2.5m) |
| 27 | Regutting of lub oil pipelines (05 nos)Dia. 80 mm x 3 mtr, Dia. 30 mm x 2 mtr |

| 37 | Fit the sea water cooler inlet and outlet pipes and fit all mechanical connection of the alternator |
| 38 | Carryout the fitment of DG cooler inlet and outlet pipe |
| 39 | Regutting of platform, guide rails and two ladder from the 8th deck |
| 40 | Carry out the no load trials progressive load trials and full load trial and check the vibration are with the limit |
| 41 | White metal babbitting to size as per dimension in RTDL |
