The design of (for pontoon and related items) to be approved by IIT - NTCPWC / TNMB for Providing floating terminal facility in approved location suitable for walk way passenger complete in every respect in accordance with technical specification and special condition of contract (including all taxes but excluding GST) as prevailing all other charges, expenditure etc., complete. The cost shall inclusive of pontoons and their accessories such as a. Aluminium Gangway (Warren Truss type) of marine grade aluminium, corrosion resistant of size 15.00 x 1.20 m. (Subject to design approval) FRP antiskid grating of approved design to be provided on the walking area of the gangway. Suitable pivot arrangement in stainless steel to be provided for attaching gangway to the RCC bank seat at the jetty approach. Hot dipped galvanized safety chain with eye to be provided. The part of the gangway that rests on the pontoon to have high density nylon rollers and these rollers will rest on stainless steel sliding / transition plate including hinges. b. TWIN POSTS BOLLARDS of SS 316 having 5T SWL capacity fixed to SS cast-in-sockets, SOS PEDESTAL of FRP or marine grade aluminium with top light, electrical connection, life buoy, 10m lifeline, fire extinguisher and first aid box. All cabling up to a shore supply point adjacent to the head of the gangway. 150mm D TYPE EPDM RUBBER FENDER connected by SS bolts at 500mm spacing to SS cast-in-sockets on the concrete pontoon. MOORING SYSTEM using steel chain of Grade 30 or above with concrete sinkers / steel anchors for the anchoring of the floating jetty. Arrangement to including additional SS bollards / Deck mooring eyes, chain stoppers and other assemblies as required.c. NOTE: AMC of the above 4 jetties, for a period of Ten years after the completion of One year defects liability period. Complete in all respect.
