44Disconnecting the bindings of loose overhead conductor of HT lines from insulators and restringing the same for proper sag and rebinding with new aluminium binding wires at insulators, making all jumpers and inter connections of conductors at cut points as well as turnings using PG clamps of suitable size as per size of conductor for any type of conductor including restringing of continuous GI earth wire,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Trimming of tree branches upto 3 m all around the conductors is deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) Three ACSR conductors and two GI earth wire will be measured as one unit length for payment. (iii) Cost of PG clamps, aluminium winding wire and eye hook for GI earth wire are included in the rates coated for restringing.
45Material and labour for painting of steel tubular pole 11.0 m long, by applying two coats of aluminium paint after scraping/brushing and cleaning the rust on pole and cross arms. Aluminium painting will be done on pole above 1.5 m height from ground level and balance 1.5 m from ground level will be painted by alternate layer of red and white enammelled paint ( 30 cms each) pole No will be written on pole by black paint in yellow circle of 150 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
46Material and labour preparation of old painted external surfaces of HT 4 pole structures consisting of HT 11 mtr steel pole, cross arms, GOD assy with pipe, DO fuse assy, clamps etc., of any description and applying one coat of aluminium paint by mannualy all as directed. Note : This rate inclusive of painting all minor items such as clamps, brackets, nuts, bolts and washers which is not particularly mentioned in the structures & each job will be measured and paid.
47Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper plate earth electrode 600X600X3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to copperstrip 20x3mm at two points by means of bolts and nut, check nut and washers including charcoal dust, common salt, necessary excavation in hard/dense soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soilto a distance up to 50metres, PCC pit in 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm grade stone aggregate) RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm grade stone aggregate ) 50mm thick pit cover, reinforced with 8mm dia TMTbars 75mm c/c, both ways MS handle 12mm dia, GI funnel, wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20mm bore GI (light grade) and earth leadprotection pipe 40mm bore (light grade) ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, directed and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including testing complete. Note : GI strip and protection pipes 40 mm dia GI light grade pipe up to 7.5 metre is included in unit rate and beyond that the same will be measured separately.

49Taking out the existing HT 5 MVA AVR unit 11000 volts grade of make Yule Brentford carefully by dismantling all incoming & outgoing elect/ mechnical connections reputed work for using suitable tools & plants, opening the body of buck booster/ AVR units find out the defects and servicing, repair/ removing incl replacing the defective spare parts and re-assembling complete all as specified and directed. (New winding will be measured and paid under relevent item of this schedule). The job involves the following: (a) Disconnecting all electrical/ mechnical connection from both side of HT. (b)Opening the body of the AVR/buck booster units complete, drain out the oil, lift the cover and coil assembly, checking the serveability state of spares such as moving carbon roller, windings, insulating oil, HT elect connections, HT bushings, HT brass terminals, Tig & Tag connectors, chain rack, limit switch, bearings, couplings, motor, mirco processor based PCB card, CT/PT assy, Aux/Reverible contactors, winding/ oil temp/Buchloz relays assy, earthing connections, copper strip, etc. and repair/ replace the same of existing model/ make and making fully serviceable state of AVR/Buck booster assy at site incl testing as per OEM specifications complete all as specified and directed. (c) Cleaning the core laminations assembly by oil complete, removign the carbon sediments/ dust in the coil and core gently without making any damage to coil and core. (d) Re-assembling all dismantled parts including provision of new gasket, nut, bolts, refilling with transformer oil including electric/mechnical connection testing and commissioning complete.

58Material and labour for filteration and dehydration of transformer oil by dehydration machine to achieve the die-electric strength/ insulation value upto 65 KV/40KV (RMS) at standard gap of electrodes 2.5 mm for one minute in 5 MVA capacity of AVR transformers 11 KV including insulation testing of oil with help of suitable equipments before and after dehydration including BDV test complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Contractor will have to arrange the dehydration machine and transfomer oil dielectric strength testing equipment as mentioned and same shall be deemed to be included in the item rate quoted. (ii)Test result of transformer oil before and after dehydration is required to submit by contractor duly signed by all concerned. (iii)The contractor shall ensure that hte conservator tanks are full to its level before commencement of dehydration process. (iv)Additional quantity of transformer oil if any required for making the oil level upto the requirement in transformer shall be measred and paid separately as supply and filling but is cost of heating shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for above item.
59Supply and filling transformer power oil meeting IEC 60296-2003-11, 3rd edition standard specification ASTMD 1275B test requirements for corrosive sulpher of BDV not be less than 40 KV at 2.5 mm gap for reduced level of transformer due to evaporation/ leakage/losses due to dehydration in HT 33 KV transformer/ HT 11 KV AVR to filling in distribution transformer HT 33/11 KV and 11 KV AVR all as specified and directed.
60Supply and replacing of silica gel crystel filled in the breather of capacity suitable for 5MVAAVR transformer complete all as specified and directed.
