Tender For Repair / Maintenance Of Water Supply Network System In Technical Area At Afs Under Ge ( Af ) Pathankot; 1 Checking And Shortout The Faulty Pipe Line Against Low Pressue / Leakage / Broken Pipe Line Including Repair, Maint And Making Leak Proof Gi / Ci / Di Water Supply Pipe Lines / Valves After Rectifying The Defects Of The Water Supply Items In Technical Area Complete With Clips, Wall Hooks, Wooden Plugs, Cutting, Screwing And For Making Forged Bends On Piping As Required And Other Similar Items / Fittings Etc Such As Joints, Sluice Valves / Gate Valves, Bends, Elbows, Tees, Connectors, Backnuts, Diminishing Pieces, Caps, Plugs And Unions, Etc And Fixing Complete. 1	Checking and shortout the faulty pipe line against low pressue/leakage/ broken pipe line including Repair, maint and making leak proof GI/CI/DI water supply pipe lines/valves after rectifying the defects of the water supply items in TECHNICAL AREA complete with clips, wall hooks, wooden plugs, cutting, screwing and for making forged bends on piping as required and other similar items/fittings etc such as joints, sluice valves/gate valves, bends, elbows, tees, connectors, backnuts, diminishing pieces, caps, plugs and unions, etc and fixing complete. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Note :- (i) Each job is assessed for one no fitter general mechanic alongwith a helper each day. (ii) Minor excavation required for repair work for upto the length of 1mtr and depth of 1 mtr and width of 0.6 mtr including retrurning filling and removal of surplus soil is deemed to be included in quoted rates (iii) Material such as joints, valves of any type, CI fittings will be measured and paid seperately under respective item of schedule, cost of taking out, fixing only and faulty items and any material other that mentioned required for fault rectification is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iv) Any T&P required for execution of job is to be provided by contractor and is deemed to be included in quoted rates.
2	M & L for construction of valve pit in repair of internal size 900x900x1000mm of solid block masonry in cement mortar 1:6 and applying 15mm thick plastering to internal and exposed external surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement, PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 in foundation, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in floor & coping of valve pit and pit cover made out of 3mm thick mild steel sheet with 40x40x5mm angle iron frame and 40x5mm FI hold fast embedded in PCC by applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint blue over a coat of red oxide primer for 80mm to 150mm dia of valve cleaning and filling up earth or sludge and removing the same with other demolished material to a distance n.exc 50m and deposited as directed by Engineer-in charge. The work will be carried out with in distance 1KM from road.

12	Material & Labour for cleaning of RCC over head water tank using alum water, height up to 15 mtr including pumping out balance water, taking out dirty water stone pieces and sludge etc by usnig buckets, cleaning and removing all dirt and plankton completely from wall and flour of the tank and from mouths of inlet and outlet pipes etc and by rubbing with wire brushes and removing all waste to distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed cleaning the tank with fresh water and removing dirty water out of the tank writing on tank date of cleaning on external surface with synthetic enamel paint after removing old date complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge for the following capacity (Note - The cleaning of Over head tank will be planning such as time that there should no hindrence occure of water distribution system) (a) 50000 gallons capacity
