119	NOTE: SCH PART "A" COMPLETE (ATTENDING THE DAY TO DAY COMPLAINT) (A) The complaint attended by the contractor, at the place of complaint, shall bear the time and signature of the users, after the satisfactory completion of the complaint.The delay in attending complaint shall be penalized as described in special condition. Contractor"s supervisor shall report to complaint cell of AGE B/R-II at 8.30 am every day in morning to collect the complaints. (B) Thepenalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the EIC more than twelve hours after handing over complaint to the contractor. The EIC and signature of contractor be obtained on slip in token of handing over the complaint to contractor. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to EIC at the earliest. The contractor shall remove the complaint with in twelve hours period after handing over the complaint to him or his representative, if the nature of complaint is such that the work can not be completed with in the period of twelve hours then the facts shall be brought to the notice of EIC and the period of working shall be decided by the EIC.If the delay is more than twelve hours period and the EIC is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty @ Rs. 100/- per complaint per day delay shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor for the delay. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 50 of IAFW 2249and shall be treated as interim condition of the contractand shall be enforceable as and when delay in individual complaint is noticed and no claim what so ever on this account small be entertained by the Deptt. (C) The complaint slip shall be supplied by the contractor in duplicate with proper binding and serially machine numbered as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
